Man, the 360 came out in such a wild time in my life. My first experience was right after graduating highschool, went over to a buddy's house and he got it for Christmas with gears. I was blown away at the graphics. Before this, I thought the most insane graphics were Doom 3, Chaos Theory, Does Ex something-or-other & Escape from Butcher Bay. I had to have one. Fortunately for me, I started working at 14 and was able to go nab one. Unfortunately for me though, it was the core addition and I had no leftover cash for games. The following weeks I picked up Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo & that burger king game where you rob people. My cousin and I rented a garage space to live in and slept on some cots with a projection screen "big-screen" plugged in and played the living hell out of halo 3 and gears one summer. Great times man. Stressful, but we had a ball when we had down-time. Several years later I have a massive collection I can share with my kids, great career and a big house I paid cash for. It seems silly typing this, but low and behold, I think the 360 was one of the touches of luxury that pushed & motivated me to be where I am today. I recently renovated a room in my basement and dedicated it to older games from yester-year. Needless to say, I found a monster 200lb crt and hooked ol' reliable back up. The games truly hold up remarkably well. My 10 year old daughter and I tear it up on weekends shooting aliens or raiding dungeons. Although we have a series X, there's that charm of the 360 being the system that keeps on giving. I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since it launched!
that's great to hear man glad your in a better position in life, and its good that we were blessed enough to be kids when these types of game systems came out we got to see how fast gaming evolved within the last 20 years... its been crazy and i never forget the OG games that made me want to be a gamer in the first place still got the ps2, ps3, & ps4 and i find games that still hold up today for each one

Gears 2 was the best Gears game in my opinion. This console has so many of my all time favourites. RDR, Mass Effect 2, Halo 3 and Reach, Oblivion and Skyrim. The true birth of online multiplayer with your mates all in a party together. Absolutely sensational console generation.

I’ll never forget getting Forza horizon the evening of its release!!!!! I played that game and played that game and played that game until I completely completed it and then got the DLC in completed that as well, 100% all achievements!! Based on just how good the first Forza Horisont was/is, I always felt like the Xbox should’ve kept right neck and neck with the PlayStation ????? It’s because they didn’t have any other major first party exclusives of equal caliber to their Forza horizon game and that’s sad ..
I know you can only fit so many games on the list, and it was a solid list. But personally I would have also included mafia 2, and the simpsons game. But again your list was solid!
I also have favorite list but its only a top 5 because I mostly played demos. 5. The Maw. It is a personal favorite and was part of my childhood, game was basically alot of puzzles and having your pet "Maw" eat things until its big enough to eat the planet your on 4. Portal 2. The game was fun, in both single player and multiplayer mode you have to solve puzzle by yourself or with a friend! 3. Metal Gear Rising. The game is primarily High speed combat with some good music put into it, and not to forget, Memes, the DNA of the soul! 2. BattleBlock Theater. Game is great and nostalgic because how much I played of it with my friends, mot to mention how funny it can be while annoying your friends while playing it. 1. Minecraft. Oh minecraft, played it on my Xbox 360 all the time when i was younger, i still even have the oldest tutorial map mojang added to the xbox 360 version of minecraft!
The issue with these videos is that it is super easy to miss out on fundamentals. CoD4, Mass Effect 2 and Guitar Hero 3 are all on my mind and missing on the list. And I know it is nye impossible with so many great games, but I am rather commenting on the futility of such lists, rather than on the video in particular.

If I could only play 1 console for the rest of my life, I'd quite happily choose the Xbox 360. Apart from one or two titles, game quality has really dropped off during the Series era and half of the One's best titles were remakes/remasters. If only it was possible to play the entire library on the modern consoles with faster load speeds etc. There's some absolute classics stuck on the 360, and one day the tech will just stop working.I had to but a third party power brick from the rainforest 'cause I couldn't find an official one, and its so loud it sounds like a jet engine is taking off in the living room.

But since i have an Xbox 360 and a ps3 and i love them more then my PS5. so of course i should get more games for them. I'm thinking of getting GUN for 360. Since i like old western movies like the Good,the bad, and the ugly. And shows like Gun smoke and the rifle man. I really like red dead redemption 1 and 2 and undead nightmare. I think this might be a perfect gift for me. I'm not sure what else. Maybe some zombie games. Though for some reason my mother doesn't like me playing zombie games for some reason. And i feel like if i would ask her if i could play zombie games then she would probably smack me with the wooden spoon. But hopefully she will let me play dead rising. I heard that's a good zombie game.
Will never class the Xbox 360 as 'retro'. Yeah I mean it's aged in terms of when the physical console was released but the graphics and the type of games that came out for the 360 will take a while to age in my opinion. Some earlier titles definitely look aged but some look pretty good even to this day. When comparing 360 games to OG Xbox and PS1 games there's a lot of difference but when comparing a ps5/Series game to 360 era, there's obviously a noticeable difference, but not as profound.
you talked about Skate 3 being realistic while showing clips of things so weird and unrealistic, noone ever did them in skate 3. Also Skate2 was done with a lot more love
#0: (because it's better than #1) Dragon Age: Origins. Dragon Age 2 was a fantastic game, but a terrible sequel. Biggest disappointment on 360: no KOTOR 3. My problem with Halo 3 was that both my friend and myself had a crazy hard time just getting the game to work on our consoles. We would sit there for half an hour or longer just trying to launch the campaign. My favorite Gears was 2. Forza Motorsport 2 is one of my favorite racing games, and the last Forza game to let you just do what you want instead of this always forward-progressive career mode they've had since 3.
I grew up on games like a unsaid religious experience now in this day and age they are so cheap my babies are just getting started on gaming and they will go through the consoles just as I did except from time to time they will live out the dream of one day having a 64 bit game when a fine 8 bit game is worth playing until their fingers bleed just imagine your a 12 yr old coming home from a shity day at school and you have the new NES game everyone is wanting but then an alien being comes through your closet and says here play this 64 bit game from the future of my kids will have that experience damn right they will

Two of my favorite 360 racing games were Ridge racer unbound and Need for speed “the run”. I still play them now
