I don't know how "Queen Of Mean" is only an honorable mention. It's one greatest songs in the _Descendants_ franchise and fully establishes the villain as a force to be reckoned with. And it has a chorus you can't get out of your head. Same goes for "What's My Name" from _Descendants 2._

For the Descendants franchise I've always liked to imagine that Disney sent Kenny Ortega a memo that said "now these movies are for kids so don't let the music department go ham" and Kenny read the memo, printed it out, crumpled it up, and threw it away.

*Movies that Kenny Ortega did like HSM, cheetah girls, descendants were amazing. Teen beach movie and jump in and lemonade mouth and camp rock 2 were great too. Aly and Aj were a huge part in old Disney movies*

I just feel like, the entire cast said they didn’t want to make a part two because the first movie was so good. They said they didn’t want to risk making a bad sequel and ruining such a good movie. Like how can such a good movie not make the ranking haha

Chillin like a villian is so funky in a production type of way that you can't help but like it....

They needed to do this by decade. Seeing the top 10 fro the 90s, 2000s 2010s would be amazing and allows more variety and nostalgia. As years pass they can do the 2020s.
Descendants, Teen beach movie, and even Zombies have so many amazing songs, I can't even put into words how much I love them and how good they are

Chillin Like A Villian is my FAVORITE Disney Channel movie song ever. I don't know how it ended up at #5. It is #1 in my eyes and no Whats My Name???? That's shocking! I need to go listen to my song now.
I Used to love those DCOMs, especially the musicals. HSM is what I think of when I hear DCOM. Some oldies but goodies I used to love: Luck of the Irish, Smart House, Halloween Town. Now don’t mind me as I open up Disney+ to see what’s on there for dcom!
I would have put Supernova Girl at #1. It goes hard and it’s a staple of the late 90’s.

I'm so happy that a few songs from the "High School Musical" franchise, "Descendants" franchise, "Teen Beach Movie" film series, and "Camp Rock" film series made it on this list. They're my go-to Disney Channel Original Movie songs.
Bet On It is the BEST song to sing whenever I've got some frustration bottled up inside. I just put the song on and absolutely sing my heart out. The feeling after a couple minutes of intense singing is honestly really great.
And Push it to the Limit is an energy boost and such a feel-good song all on its own! I can't get enough.

I understand that it's difficult doing a Top10 with DCOM movie soundtracks but Lemonade Mouth really deserved a top10 position, beit with She's so gone or Determinate
So, most of the honorable mentions, are better than the top 10 chosen here.

oh my god JUMP IN!!! that movie was really really cool, specially since you really don't get to see double dutch taken so seriously before to be made into a film that has a touch of 'step up' movies vibe.
So sad it was so underrated. I remember Disney building Corbin up like another It-boy back then by giving him an entire solo perf on the HSM concert and then a solo film and album. sucks that ppl focused more on Zac when Corbin is equally just as talented.

I actually never saw the movie Twitches till I saw it on Disney Plus and I'm 29 and this movie came out when I was 11! XD, yet I strongly do remember the music video to the song, Rush, always playing on Disney Channel and falling in love with it when I was 11. I LOVE that song! :)
My favorite song from High School Musical 2 is You Are the Music in Me, my favorite song from Teen Beach Movie is Like Me, my favorite Cheetah Girls song of all time is Cheetah Sisters but from the sequel I really do love Strut and I love Cheetah Love from the third one, I love Get a Clue, Can't Back Down is my favorite Camp Rock song in general, When There was Me and You is my favorite from High School Musical while my favorite Sharpay and Ryan song is What I've Been Looking For, my favorite song from High School Musical 3 is Just Wanna Be With You, I love Push it to the Limit, I love Rotten to the Core and So Many Ways To Be Wicked in Descendants and Descendants 2, I love that uplifting song that Mal sings once her friends turn to stone in Descendants 3, Determinate is my favorite Lemonade Mouth song, but if I had to pick my main favorite out of them all then it's When There Was Me and You. :)

I think there should have been a tie for number one. "Bet on it" and "Scream". I think Scream was fully over the top as well. Both were Troy having a nervous breakdown. And can't forget "Get Your Head in the Game" in the first. He was very conflicted in all three movies and the three songs show us just how conflicted he really was. Glad things worked out in the end. But on first viewing, you never know if it will. Zac Efron was awesome (yes, I know the singing voice was not Zac in the first movie, but his acting was perfect anyway) in all three movies.
