Great idea! I hate to have any damage to my books (I've bought new books to replace books that friends have returned missing the dust jacket or with bent pages). I'm going to have my daughter make several of these for me. Her sewing skills have passed mine. Love that cat fabric. I hope my local JoAnn's has it.

What are the measurements for the hard cover?
I just measured a hardcover book that I had and then added about 3 inches to that measurement!
