      I live in rural area, but nobody wants to help me, not even my mom. They think lowly of the material. It’s better if you have people to work with. I guess it makes no difference if your family’s there or not, people have to want to make it.

    I love that he advises to use sand from the side of the road, because that's something I would do. When I see rocks laying about, I think "foundation", when I see pallet wood destine for trash, I think "larsen truss for the house. I mean, a person can literally build a house for free 😁😁😁

      yea, but in USA, all usable land either owned by Gov't, large corporations or the super wealthy. you can buy land, but then you pay yearly taxes to use that land.

      I will soon be setting up a moneyless community project in Borneo where the concept is to use all free building materials be it recycled or from the surroundings. We would make sure we would spend hardly any money so to ensure we live a debt free life with us growing our own food and generating our energy and filtering our own water. We would invite volunteers from everywhere. Namaste

    • @roelandpeeters931
      @roelandpeeters931 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      terracotta... terra =earth cotta = cooked (baked, fired) Bricks and ceramics are "terracotta"... what you have is clay with which to make terracotta. If your clay is red, then more than likely the iron content will be rather high. Most clay turn red when fired => that is why bricks are red(dish).
