Hands down the best channel on TH-cam! Nothing lifts my spirits more than seeing you put out a new video. You don't miss either! Everything you do is a banger! You also bring much needed wholesomeness and light-heartedness to this dull grey world. I've been a fan for a while now and to see your older work when you barely spoke, to what you've become is the greatest character arc to witness. Thank you Nate, you're a legend!
That wallpaper on you phone is the best. Im a father of 5 and its to see other dads out there that really love their kids. Love the content man. I always get excited to see what you create whebmnever i get the notification that you posted 😁
Great lure! Loved the paint! Best of all, you caught some nice fish, but also a few different species. This was my favorite one day for sure! Thanks for video
Wakebait is my absolute favorite bait to fish in Massachusetts. Broke my PB on the Tactical 210 Wake this year after 30 years. Such a sick bait! Love the paint.
Just a thought for your sander table. Why not use a piece of plexiglass for a smooth surface for it? You could slot it for easy on off if you need to swap it or take it off. I'm curious how it would turn out
Agreed, that's what I would do (and may do for my own)... I'd probably just use some doublesided tape to hold it down. Even just a thin piece of plywood would work.
OH MAN!! That is a great bait!! It's BEAUTIFUL!! Love the action. Wouldn't change a thing coz they were crushing it!! Love the wood dowel addition. Love that you can catch Pike up there. They are super fun to catch and especially on topwater. Very delicious as well. They are in my top 3 delicious freshwater fish along with walleye and Bluegill. I've only caught Pike on 2 trips up to Manitoba, Canada on God's Lake with Dad. Caught'em on topwater & spoons. Delicious as our shore lunch cooked in pure lard by Cree Indians which were our guides. I'd love to have that bait to use on Walleye at night here in East Tennessee. That hump back is very similar to a topwater bait I use a lot. It's a 130mm Shimano Triple impact. Wow that was long. You probably didn't read all that crap!! Thank you!
Been watching since i was in grade school. I have always been amazed by the things you've made. You are definitely my inspiration to keep fishing, and try new lures.
Just got back from a good day of fishing, and Nate Marling is channeling Bubbles, while catching decent fish like crazy. Go figure a cat makes a cameo😂
Baking soda and super glue to fill in the grooves on your vertical sander bench. You only have to do some of it. The grooves are to help loose dust stay off the work piece, keeping it flat.
I have been making lots of nano creek baits and creature baits like tiny bat ,a 4inch snake that slays and a blue tailed skink top water thanks for all the lessons master Yoda!!!
Nice fishing, good bait, quiet no rattle baits are really good on calm water. As for the bite location. The flashiest spot is what the fish aims for. Try a flashy spot on the tail and test it. If you have a rough water day try a rattle or something 😉
love the videos. i had the same issue with belt sander, i just bolted a piece of aluminium to it with a slot cut in for the belt and ended up with zero tolerance on the belt so nothing can get caught in the gap. great cheap upgrade
About that bottom curve... one of those key design things of flying boats, like the Boeing 314 Clipper, (as an example of things that move trough water) is a step before the tail. I wonder if that would translate to baits?
Amateurs practice till they get it right, a professional practices till they can’t get it wrong. These baits are always so accurate for the amount of freehand work that goes into them
because of you I started making my own spinner baits and yesterday I caught my first fish on a home made bait. so very fulfilling
FEELS GREAT !! don't it !!

As much as I love the good ol' super glue and baking soda, that wood plug worked out real nice! Hope you use it for other baits in the future.
15:20 i was like its only 9am you have all the time to catch a fish but then i noticed i was looking at my own damn clock😂😂

Soemthing about lure makers describing the motion of a new lure cracks me up. Bait looks awsome bud. Keep up the good work.
your walleye painting skills are on point
This bait is one of my favs from you and caught some nice fish! ❤
Make a groved smooth board for your sander table, it's easy and you have displayed brilliant craftsmanship.
Ive been looking forward to your next video. Thanks nate
I witnessed the super glue/baking soda revelation. It was truly groundbreaking for this channel. Who else out there bore witness to greatness?
I really like the look of this lure...

That last spot you hit up was juicy!!
I love that letting chip out is basically the outro lol.
you could use resin to fill in the grooves on your sanding table, really enjoy the one days

Great job! Nice bait.

You should make some small wooden trout swim baits and use them at the creek
Dude that was awesome 😎

Yeehaw brother 🤠
