Craftsmanship: 10/10, Artistic Genus: 12/10, Music choices: ?/10, honestly, I don't think I've ever noticed....Mr. Marling is "quite the" engaging personality. But the music, uum.....
I'm not a super long time viewer, but I've gone back and watched a lot of older stuff and can I just say the quality of not just your lure making, but your video editing and filmmaking has made a notable climb in the past 10 or so episodes. They were fantastic before don't get me wrong but now they just seem like there is a crew of people making them not just one guy.
Also, I think in an older video you wondered if anyone else was carving baits with you while watching your videos and, yes. You're like Bob Ross dude. I'm sitting in a college dorm room trying to carve a largemouth out of a chunk of 2x4 because of you.
DUDE nice Trueglide sign in the background! Joe is legitimately the coolest dude ever. Pro skateboarder, pro paintballer and now the best musky bait builder alive
Hands down 🙌 the best bait maker out there!!! Can’t wait to see the little man make a bait with his Dad!! Golden moments there!! Very inspirational person here!!!
I love watching your techniques evolve. New gill carving approach, drilling eye holes before carving... then, right when I'm expecting "superglueandbakingsoda" you revert to 5 minute epoxy with micro-bubbles but give an insightful explanation. Learning is fun. Thanks! Also, Finn in the snow was awesome!
These bait-making videos are some of the most chill and relaxing videos to watch. The soft music combined with your voice and the sound of woodcarving is incredible. And the baits always turn out amazing. 🤩
As soon as you drilled the lead holes I was thinking about if there was a way to make a lip on the inside to stop the lead from pushing out... Then you did it! I'm starting to think more like a bait maker and for that, I thank you! Keep it up
Jesus man you're paint jobs are getting insane. You are truly talented. Been watching for years and you're still coming out with very original and creative designs.
Great music choice while you were painting the details on the gill plates and body! Awesome videos as always thanks for something sweet to watch! Absolutely sick color choices as well!
I wouldn’t even be able to fish a bait that you make, they look so damn good I’d be afraid to lose it. Absolutely killer looking stuff man, thanks for sharing all the different stuff with us
I have been watching you since quarantine (since then I just want to go fishing so badly), and I'm just so amazed of your habilites to craft lures, definitively an artist here :)
Another banger of a lure and video. Loving the weekly uploads. Can't wait for spring when you start up the one days and we see some of these lures catch some bass and pike.
I just realized that I'm loving your videos for such a long time now...it begins when you made a giant mackerel lure that you never said a word to you and Chealsy just dating in the river just fishing to announcing that she's pregnant to see Fin for the first time to second baby and now hearing Fin talk...such a long time..just keep it up...
More mass in the front of a streamlined object will increase stability and will overcome the drag of the larger head. Also having more of a teardrop shape has less drag in water, like a submarine. Awesome work man
Always love yr videos homie but the tunage (music) in this one👌 (especially) when you were painting was amazing!👍Thanks for the link to it🤗and all the entertainment over the years... Missing the blooper snip-pits at the end though this time around, they are some of my fave😁
I have watched the Romanmade Mother video at least 5, maybe six times, and built one myself. However, I like this lure so much more. I can already see myself watching you build this lure over and over. This is now one of my new favorites.
It would cool to see you and Joe Peterson (true glide) collab and make a musky bait together on a show. Just a thought. Excellent video as always man. Look forward to Sunday mornings.
Man, I am not really a fisherman, nor do I make baits. But I just truly enjoy your videos, your crafting process, the way you explain your thought process, and Chip. Great entertainment.
Another great vid. Today's the day! I got the supplies and I'm going to try my hand at making a lure. After watching tons and tons of your videos, I have decided it's time to try it myself.
Hey Marling, try tapping your lead holes. The threading in combination with super glue should keep the lead from wanting to fall out. Make sure to add the super glue first to the threads. This should reinforce the threading and keep them from burning out when the lead is poured in.
I have been a subscriber for a long time and love your material and your editing, but this video and bait is right up there with the best. As a fellow baitmaker I truly respect what you do. Can't say enough good things!!!!
Been watching your channel for a few weeks now. Many episodes a day, finding you funny to watch. I would like to see if you can make a barbel bottom hugging bait or a grayling
When you said "it removes 30-40% of the wood" I said "prolly closer to 30" then you said the exact same thing. You have taught me well.
I heard “30% massive wood”😂
I also like pizza.
at about 13:55ish he and I whistled in harmony haha
After that tail slot might be closer to 32% 🤷♂️
Oh dang and after all those lead holes very close to 40%
Craftsmanship 10/10, music choice also 10/10
It's good to see I am not the only one that really enjoys his musical choices.
THE TWO GODS MEET
Craftsmanship: 10/10, Artistic Genus: 12/10, Music choices: ?/10, honestly, I don't think I've ever noticed....Mr. Marling is "quite the" engaging personality. But the music, uum.....
N64 007 Golden Eye "pause screen" music around the 15 minute mark. it was different but also good
What is that songs name?

No matter how "undeveloped" they may be, I always love hearing your thoughts throughout the video
One of my favorite videos. Cool bait, good pace, and American made stuff being traded. Excellent!
Hands down 🙌 the best bait maker out there!!! Can’t wait to see the little man make a bait with his Dad!! Golden moments there!! Very inspirational person here!!!
Here I think you dropped these: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😁 (j/k - love the enthusiasm)
I would say he is a master-bait maker
At2 he is already drawing better than me at 40🤣🤣
“Baits that’ll make memories” should be on shirt along with a bait you’ve made in the past
Love these Sunday morning videos. Helps to ease the hangovers.
Jared is going to love this bait !
100%
Whenever you carve the scales it still blows my mind! The attention to detail is never lacking on your channel
The music over the gill detail painting reminded me of home alone when Kevin was setting up all his traps! Nate and Kevin are kindred spirits!
This is what I'm talking about I happy to see you finally showing us your custom orders.
These bait-making videos are some of the most chill and relaxing videos to watch. The soft music combined with your voice and the sound of woodcarving is incredible. And the baits always turn out amazing. 🤩
From literally years of watching you this is by far one of my favorites.
Dude, you are knocking it out of the park with these past few paint jobs, this thing looks absolutely _stunning._
I am loving the music additions! Some killer grooves and takes the videos to a new level of enjoyment.
When you needed a second for the funny bone 🤣! I felt that, I catch a good one weekly at work, it'll make you nauseous
I love your work. Would love to see your take on things like inline spinners, rooster tails, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, poppers, even spoons etc.
Love this! Just made a lure on my last vid using everything I've learned from your vids. Thanks for explaining your processes so well.
Outflippinstanding! That was a pure joy to watch.
You are a genius. I learned so much about bait baitmaking from your videos
Great lure build and Awesome you took time to be with your family.
Jared is a cool dude, gonna slay
🙏
As soon as you drilled the lead holes I was thinking about if there was a way to make a lip on the inside to stop the lead from pushing out... Then you did it! I'm starting to think more like a bait maker and for that, I thank you! Keep it up
Your bait making skills are just off the charts. Phenomenal.
Thanks for getting back into the gaudy! Coffee and Marling. Great start to the day. Make a Beetlejuice sandworm.
Jesus man you're paint jobs are getting insane. You are truly talented. Been watching for years and you're still coming out with very original and creative designs.
Amazing, I commented on an old video mentioning that the eyes looked like the Eye of Sauron and now we have a dedicated bait XD! Beautiful as always!
Greatest bait maker of all time.makes my baits look like they came out of the trash
You Sir have immaculate skill and eye for detail. Well done. Salute!
Please don’t stop making these videos! I legit learn a lot and enjoy every second.
Thank you for showing your son and wife’s snowman ☃️👍🏼👊🏼🦖🍺
I honestly think of your baits as more art and collectibles than I would a real fishing lure I am gonna use. They absolutely beautiful.
Great music choice while you were painting the details on the gill plates and body! Awesome videos as always thanks for something sweet to watch! Absolutely sick color choices as well!
I wouldn’t even be able to fish a bait that you make, they look so damn good I’d be afraid to lose it. Absolutely killer looking stuff man, thanks for sharing all the different stuff with us
Ya did it again👍. Great looking lure those gills so life like. Got me looking forward to Sundays for the new vids. Keep up the great work.
Another amazing piece of work, nice to see Chip takes no notice
I have been watching you since quarantine (since then I just want to go fishing so badly), and I'm just so amazed of your habilites to craft lures, definitively an artist here :)
I love that you put so much detail into everything you create
Another banger of a lure and video. Loving the weekly uploads. Can't wait for spring when you start up the one days and we see some of these lures catch some bass and pike.
The best part of sundays has arrived...great videos man. Keep up the good work.
Always great to wake up and watch another vid. Love what you're doing.

I’ve handmade a few lures…almost embarrassing to admit after watching your creations!
We all feel that way.
The music over montage edits of late have been on point.
Great video. The drama, the suspense, the horror! Haha, the end just made me laugh out loud. The bait turned out amazing too.
such intense music, as if we're entering a dungeon facing a boss.
*nice work as usual!
Me and the wife was slow dancing to that music 🎶. Thank you
More mass in the front of a streamlined object will increase stability and will overcome the drag of the larger head.
Also having more of a teardrop shape has less drag in water, like a submarine.
Awesome work man
Excellent job dude.
Although the looks of the colors, and layers, and eyes are amazing, the swim on that one was absolutely insane.
Outstanding work.
Always love yr videos homie but the tunage (music) in this one👌 (especially) when you were painting was amazing!👍Thanks for the link to it🤗and all the entertainment over the years...

Very nice looking bait Nate always sweet looking baits.

Remember when Finn was born, 😆. Cool to hear him talking... oh yeah nice lure and stuff.
Love the paint job!
Loved the style of the bait and video format with the music, really enjoyed it.
When Fhynn says " is that big yellow pipe? " The worlds LISTENS
Man, I am not really a fisherman, nor do I make baits. But I just truly enjoy your videos, your crafting process, the way you explain your thought process, and Chip. Great entertainment.
That movement is insane!!!!
"That is an abomination." made me laugh out loud.

Randomly opened TH-cam, new Marling Baits video, HECK YEAH!!😁😁
Another great vid. Today's the day! I got the supplies and I'm going to try my hand at making a lure. After watching tons and tons of your videos, I have decided it's time to try it myself.
Beautiful lure. The gill structure is amazing, probably the best you've made yet.
Your craftsmanship is epic!!
Have to say it: One glide bait, to rule them all.
"However underdeveloped they might be, those were my thoughts." 6:09 might bee my new fav Quote of all time lol
Nice work! Your lures are awesome! I really like watching your videos. Your builds look awesome.
Love the coffee mug!

What a video. Bait looks incredible. Pleasure to watch.,
The music on this video is amazing, so more pleaseeee
One could argue you are the best baitmaker on Earth
I think the gills on this one turned out the most realistic of all your lures!
I have been a subscriber for a long time and love your material and your editing, but this video and bait is right up there with the best. As a fellow baitmaker I truly respect what you do. Can't say enough good things!!!!

There’s the eye of Sauron, the mouth of Sauron, and now there’s the trout of Sauron! Sweet bait!
Treat turned out great! Nice work!
another perfect video to watch in the middle of the night
Wow what craftsmanship 👏
This video has fantastic vibes
I'm a sucker for LOTR themed just about anything. So a LOTR lure is, to me, the ultimate LOTR paraphernalia.
Gorgeous looking bait. Keep up the great work
