I think Vince is correct. Using bands attached to a rack can provide tension while doing step ups, lunges, etc. there is no real need for this machine-especially at the INSANE price they want. I can buy like 200 bands varying in thicknesses and tension. Hard pass on this machine.

At that velocity, we are using the legs and arms on the way up, and then lowering with just the legs. He is trying to lower it as slowly as possible, but the kbox will inevitably pull him down.
