Ismael is great debater and he knows many answer but take the turns as they come, but that allows their preachers to make any debate fruitlessl !!
I don't blame the man for defending his faith, but the approach jumping from one subject to another is not sincere, he did that many, many times, may God guide him.
The subject was about Nicene creed (he asked about sunni shia).. that is not sincere (I feel for him, we are all human he wants to make his faith the right one, but the approach is total insincere) many do that, the topic was about Christianity! (assume for a second Islam is wrong, would that validate your faith more?) no..
I respect him for being a listener, and love his faith, but it takes time to sink these points in, we love Jesus too, we don't want him to abandon Jesus, just to have a correct believe about him. A messenger, a prophet, word of God (command from God be and he becomes, like Adam pbuh) and messiah and will come before end of time..
salvation is at stake, no traditions, or church father will avail you when you your life is ended.
May Allah guide him and give him love and mercy and Ismael, Hashim, the camera man, and all of us Amin.
Paul also had one of the disiples STONED because he would not give up Tawheed.
Ismael and Hashim are formidable team, full of knowledge, manners and wisdom.

The reason why he is christian he says is he can keep doing his sins and life style so all goes through Jesus to accept his sins. They refused to accept the truth and want to pray only to Jesus not his Creator.
Wether they like it or try to deny it.. heaven and hell is right there waiting... No exceptional. They can give millions excuses but when times up they shall regret it.

Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍ مِثْلِهِ مُفْتَرَيَاتٍ وَادْعُوا مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Or do they say, “He has fabricated this ˹Quran˺!”? Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Produce ten fabricated sûrahs like it and seek help from whoever you can-other than Allah-if what you say is true!”

وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوا بِسُورَةٍ مِنْ مِثْلِهِ وَادْعُوا شُهَدَاءَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a sûrah like it and call your helpers other than Allah, if what you say is true.

فَإِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا وَلَنْ تَفْعَلُوا فَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِي وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ ۖ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِينَ

👉 1- What made you think that God PBTH would punish the innocent for a crime that he didn't commit, then let the real criminal, who committed that crime, to go unpunished freely?
👉 2- What would you call a Judge/Jury, in a Court Room, who would sentence an innocent person to the death penalty, then let the real criminal who murdered to go unpunished freely?
👉 3- Did the Children of Israel, on the time of Moses pbuh or any other Prophet, made a human sacrifice to God PBTH in order to atone for their sins?
I don't know to be happy for this man or sad. To be happy that Allah love's him so much that he lead him t the park and to meet this 2 brothers and clearly everything for him and maybe he accept Islam and go to heaven. Or sad if he does not and in the day of judgement he can't argue that he did not receive any guidance he will be doomed to hell fire

The whole law concerning Christianity hangs on the words of a man who lied to get your loyalty? He altered the teachings of Jesus Christ as well as remitted the laws of the Prophets (Matthew 5:17-18)
💥 He said over and over that it was OKAY to lie to get people to believe what you were preaching/teaching! Then he couldn't get it! He was complaining of being judged as a sinner even if his lying was "meant" to produce good!" What Good comes from lying? Jesus said all liars would have their part in the Lake of Fire!" Now who's right? Jesus or Paul?

For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things."

in a sense yes it was coerced but then there was a back and forth even after Constantine between the eastern (Arians) and western (more athanasian) part of Roman empire. the two sides ended up conceding because they didnt want the roman empire to fall apart.

So too is the dogma of Original Sin. BUT so is the dogma of ETERNAL TORMEMT. The Jews know NOTHING of a place of Eternal Torment. Mainstream Christians mis-interpret biblical passages regarding hell. BUT Islam and the Quran EMBRACE the false Eternal Torment dogma to the point where Allah provides people in hell with new skin to burn forever. My Muslim friends you argue correctly that a loving God does not accept human sacrifice on one hand....but this same god intends to torture people in a fiery hell for eternity on the other hand. This is NOT justice. A loving God has no need to torture His creation for eternity. There are two choices and only two choices. Everlasting Life in God's coming Kingdom or Everlasting Destruction....the SECOND DEATH. There is no third choice. Those that believe people are tortured in hell believe the same lie that EVE fell for when the serpent said she would NOT die but be like God albeit in not such a nice place. . I am afraid that Islam and the Quran borrowed this horrible dogma from pagan sources including the Egyptian Book of the Dead and the Catholic Church. Proof positive that the Quran cannot be from God.
