Aloha, if you want to see the picture on your ipad in the right position, then you have to turn the gopro upside down and then lock the view angle. Now the upside and the downside of the gopro picture is changed.
Thank you for sharing this setup. I have been looking for a while to get a budget-friendly way to get overhead shots. And that is not easy. Your video and the shopping list make the whole thing easy and save so much time and effort. Thank you very much!
I really wish GoPro would add a landscape mode to their iPad app. I've never understood why anyone would make an app for iPad but not give it a landscape orientation.
Roma, this is awesome video tips you’re doing - please keep it up - very simple & easy to follow & I also learn what a light stand is, which I didn’t even know it existed before & how one can you selfie stick on a light stand - superb 🙏👌👍
when you are connecting your go pro to your computer what program are you using to connect the go pro so you are able to see your what you are doing without seeing over the go pro , and does the program you are using is it recording ?
Cant say for certain. Both camera will deliver similar results in video quality I think. But the GoPro has a much wider FOV. Which might be a good or a bad thing, depends on how you look at it.

And you cannot display while recording with the GP9, you can only preview your shot. Major bummer.
