  • At Overland Expo there's often a lot of the same kind of stuff, but occasionally you see something that's new and different. That's where these Desert Does It Seat Jackers come in - they add comfort and storage!
    Find all vehicles on Desert Does It's website: desertdoesit.c...
    Fire extinguisher: amzn.to/3judzY1
    These products were provided to me for free to test out and make a video on. Don't tell Desert Does It, but I was about to pay full price before they offered them to me.

    Desert Does It, RIGHT! Top quality products. I have the Front Multi Mount panel w/ long arm brackets for my 2021 Super Duty along with the DDI Quick Drop Fire Extinguisher mount. Holds my 2.5 lbs H3R HalGuard perfectly. I previously had the H3R "universal" fire extinguisher seat mount and it was anything but "universal". I had to have a local machine shop make extension brackets before I could install the H3R mount. The Desert Does It product is 100% better! Highly recommend!

    Pretty sweet. I’m 6’1” and I could definitely see this making all the difference! And if I can finally get a decent holster mount for my fruit snacks, that’s a great bonus!

    I've had my eye on these. My wife's maxima has seats so customizable, they make you want to take a nap in them lol, the Tacoma, not so much. The angle is what gets me the most, when it comes to driver position support. I will definitely be ordering these. I had no idea about the accessories tho. Have to try and not get carried away, lol. (Is there such thing as accessory overload?) Thanks for the continued great content, sir.

    Would just the front jackers be comfortable for a shorter legged person? And also will these work for manual seats without all the fancy adjustments of electrical seats?

    Installed front and back lifts to fit electrical under the seat, RedArc Manager 30 BMS under the driver seat, and Renogy 3k watts inverter under the passenger seat. Perfect! As to the seat comfort, 20k miles later, NO difference noticed. Thanks for sharing.

    Got the lifts for my 3rd gen, everyone should consider them, im 6,5,, and it made a big difference in ride comfort. I'd recomend getting the tallest lift offered, average height people who have tried my seat also like the extra thigh support. Easy install, feels like a quality part

    Really digging the combo of the seat jackers + fire extinguisher + compressor. Looks like a really clean and tidy setup. The deployment of the fire extinguisher is very quick. Do you sense any potential issues with the quick release over a longer period of time, like accidentally coming loose or getting stuck?

    • @RevereOverland
      @RevereOverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not the Desert Does It release. It’s held in with a little ball on the end (I can’t think what it’s called). I am concerned with the fire extinguisher’s pin though!
