Totally taken in by this band! Her vocals are insane! The music put together in a very unique way, including the electronics. And vocal lines actually tell a story. I'm a former vocalist a teen in the sixties..A music lover growing up with the Yardbirds, Airplane, etc. I LOVE Hundred Waters. I would go to see them in a minute if I could!
The way by which each song starts and stops, change, morph and evolve with such layered detail, incisive attack, undulating genius and electronic brilliance, and then made even more beautiful with Nicole's lilting voice... I'm left speechless at the end of each song.
please have an album please have an album - YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! LOVE THIS!!! Cheryl Waters you are my personal hero - i've said it before and i'll say it again.. you know how to pick-em!!!
I first heard them at Terminal 5 opening for Interpol last week...they were awesome and Nicole is absolutely enchanting, like a quiet fog that swallows you whole. Haunting. Love them now forever.
Excited to see hundred waters is still coming out with new music. Heard about this band by mere happenstance when they opened for an alt-J show spring of 2013. Incredible blend of sound no one else out there is anywhere near.
Very whimsical and I feel copricious when I listen to their wonderful sounds which is everyday for me. Her voice is what's so mesmerizing in my thoughts. Seven White Horses & Prison Guard are my favorite songs in my heart. Good Day 😊
This band is absolutely amazing. I look forward to covering their material very much. The setup they use, I feel, is generally used for smaller groups or solo artists, but they sync so well as a full band. Cavity is the top hit for me.
i dislike most of the "fake radio studio sounds" aka autotune. but when its done in for the sole purpose of getting weird and being differen (ween)... come on hundred waters! i've heard ur autotune/synth capability. ya'll playing bonarroo, I will be in the crowd. SHOW ME LOVE!!!
idk where they pull their music from but it's beautiful, I always come back to this set in the kexp library prob cause there's nothing like it ... #hundredwaters
Funny you say that, I love the song "Out Alee" and it reminds me of something from the Zelda series. Take that with a grain of salt, because I've never really played any Zelda games.
Hundred Waters is the closest thing I can get to what I get out of Bjork's music. Not to say they're like Bjork in an imitative way but that they just have a completely unique character to their music and her voice is haunting, angelic, and unique like Bjork's.
plenty of ambiance but I kept waiting for it to go somewhere. Plenty of changes, and swells that just kind of fade back into dull. Not my cup of tea, but that being said they should totally be on the next Herzog documentary's soundtrack.
Hearing this while it rains down here after several weeks of intense sun is just...drifting!!! Hi from Medellín, Colombia.

I’m speechless at the beginning ha!
Too bad the recording or some sample had a nasty distortion which made this pretty much unwatchable...
It is a wonderful experience hearing Hundred Waters play live on a good, loud sound system. Do it before you can't.
+J.B. Croquedudu yeah, i saw them live a few days ago. pretty magical. i'm sort of surprised by how much worse the band sounds here.
Wow... there is very little to say after suche a performance. Thanks for everybody involved
Love her voice.
Love this song.
Love this band.

They're amazing, especially in love with Nicole's voice.

Such an incredible band. I'm seeing them open for Interpol, and it's the first time I've been more excited for the opener...
Saw them open for interpol tonight, and they were more enjoyable. It was fun.

They sound like they enchant forests. Kind of mesmerizing if you ask me.

This performance of Cavity is better than on the record.
Her voice is a work of art!
mesmerizing! can't wait to see them (along with Glasser, Nite Jewel, Bear In Heaven & No Age) in Spokane this September
Ambient feel, fills up the room! Love it
100 years later #we gettin old, still love it, happy im aging on this :3
wow, it sounds like magic, I was digital drawing while listening to this and it really got me very deep into work)))
I seen them at mopop festival in 2014, before that I had never heard of them. Absolutely phenomenal live
This is absolutely amazing!
Wow I used to watch this girl as a kid years ago, so crazy to see !
The best mix of several genres. James Blake meets Joni Mitchell meets David Lynch. Just awesome.
Got me from the first second! Too good to be true. Thanks for that!
Always The Best Music I Have Been Blessed To Listen To
OMG This is absolutely beautiful !
"You know, the classics...Beethoven, Mozart, Enya."

Unusual but very nice !
Really lovely music, especially the last piece.
I'm in trance, this is beautiful. I'm sure I've heard the intro of murmurs b4, not sure where...

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
The singer reminds me of Princess Zelda

Thank you Halo 4 for introducing me to this band.
whats the first song you hear from halo 4?
Khrisna Khristian I think it was a Hundred Waters remix they did for Halo
Out Alee 07:15, that was just inspirably awesome!
when she pulled out the flute..😍😍😍
How did I not know they existed?!
awesome music. reminded me a lot of portishead.
So beautiful!
não me canso!!!!!!!
beautiful!!
She is quite elven-like esp. w/ the flute!
great vocals
Did she take that name from Artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser? :-)
The band has acknowledged this connection, yes {:^]
Heaven to my ears 🎶
Awesome!
delightful
Reminds me of early goth bands of the 1980s a la cocteau twins, dead can dance, the cure ect
very much cocteau twins
happy birthday
sounds very similar to Juan Son, its an amazing voice. its perfect
Why'd you cut out the Q&A that was in the live stream? I enjoyed the insight.

I miss the old stuff like it’s a problem
Where's the interview?
Sorry, they asked for no interview to be included. They are charming people though.
Halo 4, I give my thanks to for introducing me to the band
Goose Bumps!
Fucking fantastic stuff, really.
Those synth pads must build up some serious static charge! ;P but seriously this performance is amazing.
That was unexpected. Sounds weird and strange but that's exactly why i like it.
❤❤❤❤
mmmmmmmmm that flute
Holy @#$%^&!!! A music snob's dream!
я кажись влюбился в эту девушку)
It's Different, in an I like it sort of way.
buah!pure dizziness...
first song sounds like the cocteau twins
echoing Liz Fraser
Sounds a lot like Braids but not Braids is even better. Very good though.
The live performance is not as good as their album, hope them play more spontaneous and freely. Really like their new album
plenty of ambiance but I kept waiting for it to go somewhere. Plenty of changes, and swells that just kind of fade back into dull. Not my cup of tea, but that being said they should totally be on the next Herzog documentary's soundtrack.
Cocteau Twins meet Churches. Not bad.
amazing performance.. btw you got 6 minutes of nothing @the end of this video
think of it as "recovery time" to get your thoughts back in order after that set lol
ehm, are the bass player and drummer playing with no sound..?
Bogatosamotakobynoldzajelane
Kind if reminds me of Florence and the machine but more trip hoppy
SERIOUSLY!? This is a joke, right?
ummmmmm
SO GOOD!
