She wanted someone who listened to her and did what she wanted thinking she knew better than all these lawyers. Now instead of getting out in a few years she now gets 22. Plenty of time to reflect.

Have you noticed whenever she doesn't like a finding she always goes to I don't understand or explain it to me again, it's like an adult trying to get their way like a toddler does and thinking it will make people capitulate to her wants. Even if she were an experienced defense attorney she would suck as a good attorney comes with plan a plan b and so on. She also argues over some of the opinions that really aren't helpful. When she talks about some of the arrests she drives the point of how she wasn't charged. Yes that is important but not in these types of hearings. She should learn how to defend those things in a trial.
She is hell bent on pissing everyone off. She is accusing lawyers of lying and questioning the judge. I feel for this judge who repeats directives but she is too hard headed to comprehend.
U guys/gals are spot on! Plays the victim & knows exactly what’s she’s doing. She probably has some evidence & knowledge from her first 8 layers filings? This is going to another drawn out train wreck! Can’t wait to watch!
The judge was very careful in explaining the reasons she lost council. An appellate court will look at everything. Of course she’s not qualified to be an attorney. But she caused this. Her refusing to talk to last attorney and just walking out Of room, will show any appellant judge what she was up to.
She clearly stated she did not want to represent herself. Could be grounds for an appeal? Wondering if the judge overstepped here. Perhaps she could show an appelate court she had good reasons for having fired her attorneys. Court appointed attorneys are never top notch anyway. It would be hard to listen to that little girl voice throughout the trial, please get her a lawyer. I suspect there might be some mental health issues here too.
@@nimue4325She had a private attorney first, and public defenders came after. They all requested release. Stalling the trial by going through any and all counsel is likely her goal at this point. Jail is much more comfortable than prison.

Who didn't want her to be included in her own defense. Which is her constitutional right. They are accustomed to half azing their job and getting away it. She will have grounds for an appeal. Because she's been denied both her right to participate in her defense and now her right to council.

Today in the hearing she was told EXACTLY why she doesn’t qualify for standby counsel, so it’s kind of annoying that they keep bringing up that she will get standby counsel when she was told today in no uncertain terms that she won’t get one. Timestamp: 28:37
Idk why all these lawyers are shocked. If Sarah gets another lawyer this is going to keep going on and on forever. The judge has had it with her. I'm surprised he didn't allow standby counsel HOWEVER Sarah thinks standby counsel is co-counsel and will try to abuse them as such. So it makes sense to me.
Yeah they keep on saying why they think she will end up with standby counsel, but they told her today that she doesn’t qualify for standby counsel because she’s not *VOLUNTARILY* representing herself. This judge is SERIOUS and hasn’t overturned anything he has said, so unless it’s an appellate issue, he’s making her proceed solo.
@@JadeMack7I wonder if the judge should have made these things crystal clear before appointing her her last and final lawyer. “This is your last state appointed lawyer. @@Red_Foxx101 oh yeah she was absolutely told that she’s not getting another lawyer when Cashman was appointed because Cashman is apparently a big shot that has tried many “difficult” murder cases and would be more than competent (and responsive, which was SB’s problem with #7). SB agreed that she would make it work. After Cashman said that she spent more than 20 hours with SB, answered collect phone calls on her own dime, and Boone still had the audacity to walk out of their meetings and say that Cashman wasn’t being “nice” to her, I knew at that point she was beyond cooked because this is a new judge that would have surely read up on the case and would have clearly had the very last warning to SB at the forefront of his mind. And honestly they also probably ran out of Public Defenders in their area lol, but there is a very clear paper trail of all of SB’s warnings that she would end up representing herself, and I have to think this judge covered himself and sought out guidance from as high up as possible before making this well thought out decision. I’m actually surprised at how strict he is being in keeping to his rulings, but I’ve watched all the hearings and heard both judges clearly warn her… she called their bluff and he doubled down. She knows that after she's gound guilty that no one will care that she's licked up. Her son has been under the custody of his father ever since the divorce. He will be better off forgetting all about his mother the suitcase murderer. 😠
If you're unhappy in a relationship, leave. If someone cheats on you and it can't be worked out, leave. Revenge is overrated. So much time and money spent on this ridiculous case. It was an unhealthy relationship and she killed him. This case will be unnecessarily dragged out for a decade
How does that mean she doesn’t care? You have to be clear with 911 operators. I highly doubt she could put him in a suitcase without his willful participation.
She doesn't know the first thing and has wasted 5 years of everyone's time. She said the attorneys perjured themselves on incorrect statements in at 16-page order? This case is so horrendous. She really is Evil.
Now she’s facing a minimum of 22 years and could have been out in eight if she’d just listened to Owens. Truly delusional and arrogant thinking she was ever going to walk.
Then, she will just have to do without her witnesses. Sarah could have called Spouse Abuse Inc that operates a 24 hour hotline and a DV shelter right in Orlando. They would have helped her with Court too. They have legal advocates, but why should they help her NOW when I hardly think she called them while Jorge was alive. They would have helped her to get out of that circumstance.
Why do people keep saying they think the judge will give her standby counsel? He has already repeatedly denied her request for that and referred back to his 16 page order.
She doesn't get to have standby counsel because she didn't ask to represent herself, she is forced to represent herself. Standby counsel is only in situations where the defendant makes the request to represent themselves. Sarah's constant delay tactics and all her behavior causing these attorneys to quit, disqualifies her from having standby counsel appointed to her
News flash, Sarah Boone! You went through eight lawyers! What did you expect? There's a new marshall in town and his name is Michael Kraynick, Judge Michael Kraynick, that is!
I think he is putting up with a lot of nonsense, allowing her to hog up valuable Court time. This trial was said to take 4~5 days. I’ll be surprised if they get it done in 4~5 weeks.
The problem with that is that she recorded two videos for the state. She claimed that she doesn't remember, but one theory is that she thought she deleted them. If that's true forensics will show it, and it establishes consciousness of guilt.
Me, a non-expert also expected stabdby counsel but maybe the judge knows that will start the attorney cycle again. To be fair, Sarah would complain about the lawyer and that would mean 1 or 2 more hearings-just wasting time and more tp money.
Me , not an expert, has been saying " the judge knows Sarah will try to use standby as atty #10, no way will he approve her motion.. ". sadly though the judge is having to explain everything to Sarah as she pretends to be clueless.
Sarah wants to be viewed as an intelligent woman. She tries to prove it with her writing the Judge using her enriched vocabulary of big words. When Boones addressing the Judge at her hearings she tries to exude her brilliance . Now Sarah has a chance to show the world how smart she is during her trial ending with a successful outcome. Go Sarah Go..
The neighbors in her apartment said they heard a loud noise of something or someone falling down the stairs in her apartment. I wonder if she didn’t throw him down the stairs after he was zipped in the suitcase.
After 6 hours of a hate filled screaming match it was suddenly silence. This is when Sarah knocked Jorge out with the wooden bat. She then got the broken suitcase from back of the closet. Put 106 pound Jorge in the suitcase, shoved it down the stairs, and then made the videos, laughing the entire time. my opinion is based on her 3 interviews , the ear witnesses and autopsy
@@Kevlar5255 I'm still uncertain if she pushed Jorge down the stairs first or put him in the suitcase and then pushed him down the stairs. Fact is he was incapacitated by the staircase and the suitcase no matter how it happened.
@sharonhoyt2133 The earwitnesses testimony goes to he was knocked unconscious upstairs, she retrieved suitcase from back of upstairs closet , put him in case. and shoved it down the stairs. He came to, and you know the rest. Sarah is pure evil.
What stood out to me was the state revealing Sarah wants to meet with them for plea negotiations. She’s going to be offered a plea. I don’t know why they would offer her a plea.
I strongly doubt they'd let her plea it down to manslaughter at the point. They might offer a plea for a sentence. She's looking at between 16.75 years and life. They only offer plea deals if they're unsure of their case, or they want to save the time and resources of going to trial. Neither of those really apply here.
Why would they offer her a plea anyway it's a fact she killed him. And sat there and watched him die. They have the body and so much evidence why offer a plea
7:08 “We had a good day! We had a good day! Even with everything that’s been going on with our JOBS and everything…” Sarah. Stop it. You don’t have a job. You don’t work. Jorge had a job at Ace Hardware, and you literally don’t work. With everything going on at your job, my arse!
Now that I understand the role of standby council as it was defined at this hearing, chances are based on her track record and previous 8 attorneys, including a privately hired attorney that was #1 of 8, it would end up as "irreconcilable differences" and "ethical issues". Just as the majority of her previous attorneys with the exception of a conflict of interest, all motioned to withdraw for those reasons. Why is this any different? Sarah Boone has an idea in her head of how she wants to be represented and a strategy she wants to use clearly this is either not lawful or it's unadvisable and that's why these attorneys have withdrawn. She may not be qualified. In fact she's not. But at the same time, she was unwilling to listen to her attorneys and the advice that they gave her, along with that she was abusive insulting, disrespectful, and arrogant This is what happens when you are an argumentative narcissist who refuses to accept accountability for their actions, actions by the way she has yet to show one ounce of remorse for. In fact, she's still playing games. She knew from the last hearing they were going to digitalize discovery along with a court issued laptop and said nothing at the hearing. She decides she doesn't want that she wants the hardcopies of discovery. The judge doesn't state the obvious why didn't she raise objections at the previous hearing when she knew that this was going to be the case. He remained calm and patient, and said he didn't have a problem with it, as long as the jail approves it, the same jail that shared this was the procedure. This judge has her number and knows exactly what and who he's dealing with.. I get a little upset when I hear experts say that the Judge's ruling she forfeited her right to a public defender thru her outrageous conduct is opening the door for appeal and I have to ask have they followed this case from the beginning. Do they know every nook and cranny of it like a lot of us do, do they know that she was warned a couple of times not only that she might not be afforded another public attorney if she kept up with the behavior, she was also warned against the dangers of representing herself, more then once. She ignored and kept it up because she never believed that anyone would call her bluff. This Judge has the law on his side and I'm very confident that he covered himself in that final order. More than that I'm confident any appeal board that looks at. This case, will agree. The only only criticism I had of the court, they should have stopped her at #3. As incompetent as she is in general, certainly as her own attorney it is far better for her to get up there and make a fool of herself and tell a jury with a straight face, she didn't mean to kill him, she fell asleep after walking up a flight of stairs just before taunting Jorge Torres as he begged for his life, telling him to F-off among other choice words. For all of what she has put the court, and the family of the victim, not to mention the rights of the victim through, it will take about 15 minutes to convict her ass
I thank God I was not her mother, teacher, preacher, doctor, check-out clerk, restaurant server, neighbor, or any other human who ever heard words from her mouth.
Yes! And she excels at everything she does, so this trial will be easy peasy for her 😂. I have such a hard time listening to her that I'm not sure I'll watch this trial. I can feel my blood pressure rise every time she opens her mouth. It's excruciating

Does anyone know if Boone's inability to get counsel after explicitly saying "I am not qualified to defend myself" could be grounds for appeal down the road? It seems everyone agrees on two things: That Boone is the client from Hell, and that the judge's ruling is a little harsher than expected. Could this possibly backfire in Boone's favor down the line?
The basis of the denial is that she forfeited her right to court appointed counsel through her actions. There is case law upholding situations somewhat similar to this which the judge cited, so he didn’t pull it out of a hat. The court of appeals could agree with him after reviewing the record or disagree, but just saying “I’m not qualified” wouldn’t be enough if the court of appeals agrees that her behavior was sufficient to warrant forfeiture. And remember that she called a few of her lawyers not qualified.
read the June 28 2024 pro se order from the judge. the judge goes 16 pages , extremely detailed, to prevent an appeals court granting her a second trial
No, Sarah's inability to work with ANY lawyer trying to represent her is only going to backfire in any appeal filing. The lawyers would potentially be released from privilege and detail that she didn't wanna listen to the lawyers, she tried to get them to do things that they can't do, etc etc. That's why she hated her lawyers, it was that they wouldn't do what she wanted them to do. The lawyer will not go along with the client's wishes if it's self-sabotaging to their case. Look at Donald Trump and see what happens when lawyers do everything the client wants, it doesn't go well. Some of those lawyers are facing sanctions, disbarment, and criminal charges.
god question, but she has refused counsel many times. if she is allowed to disqualify representation what does that open the door for ?? I don't like my lawyer because I don't approve on the choice of tie ??
Anything COULD be grounds for appeal. Even if they grant an appeal trial, she would still have to establish reasonable doubt. They'd have to let her suppress evidence to have a chance of that.
Her interrogation is painful to watch. She thinks she’s so convincing with her arm gestures and shocked facial expressions..acting all confident, “we had a good day! It was a good day! We’ve had good days lately, it’s been good, I don’t even know where this is coming from, we’ve been good!”….OMG I can’t.
Sarah Boone (and other narcissists like her) think nobody is listening to what she's saying. What she doesn't understand is that people ARE listening, they just don't agree.

She definitely kicked that suitcase down the stairs causing him those injuries. Her inability to admit that she was drunk is so delusional. She claims hes an alcoholic but proceeds to drink with him. She says shes not drunk but when faced with the video CLEARLY showing shes drunk, she denies it. Later when asked to explain her actions in the video, she claims its the alcohol and later when she's asked again she says she wasn't drunk. One thing is for sure, shes a raging narcissist and incapable of seeing the truth when it flys in the face of her delusional self image
I really like the judge in her case. I think he’s doing the best he can to help her w/o giving legal advice, he’s not going to allow her to abuse another pro se lawyer, he’s given her a packet (from my understanding) that can give her an outline of how a trial works, how to present things etc. (I’m assuming things like in her motion where she asked for money for witnesses. He said you didn’t list the witnesses so he didn’t deny that motion necessary, but she has to list the names and why they are wanted as witnesses. So maybe it explains some things like that. Obviously I’m not in the legal field, so take my comments as a best guess as opposed to factual information. I’m more than happy for anyone who is educated in this to correct me!) Also, I think the judge is doing his best by addressing her snarky comments like how he’s moving it from the 24th to the 26th when he doesn’t have 50 other cases so he can give more time and focus to her case specifically. He’s trying to cater to her in a reasonable way, shutting down her constant barrage of “this isn’t fair, everyone sucks but me, no one’s listening to me” nonsense. I think it’s going to be very tedious. I have a hard time even watching family court cases where one person represents themselves and it’s only like an hour long. But Sarah is never going to be happy with any legal representation because no one is willing to let her run the show. She’s probably demanding things that you just can’t do, things that you wouldn’t be able to bring up in court and she doesn’t understand that there’s a method to how you present a case. But she just thinks the lawyers were being difficult and disrespectful to her, but she wouldn’t let them explain why her way wouldn’t work. She’ll find out though. She’s not going to be happy… as per usual.
Trying to rationalise the behaviour of someone who is unstable will likely be fruitless. She may simply be unable to regulate or her motivation may change moment to moment
She’s must figure it out for herself. What did she think she would keep getting new attorneys? I think the judge gave her enough chances. The judge made the right decision on not giving her another attorney. She would have probably fired them too? Delay again her trial. I just think of Darrell Brooks if he could figure it out than she can too. Gets her out of her cell & learn a bit of lawyering. It actually sounds way better than rotting in a cell. Ha she will be doing that after her trial. She has NO defense!I can’t believe this man agreed to played “Hide-n-Seek” w/her. Why would a man get into any suitcase? This is the weirdest case ever. She wanted someone who listened to her and did what she wanted thinking she knew better than all these lawyers. She is basically "I understand that but you didn't agree with me therefore you're wrong and all this is unfair". I can just imagine she was the same way with all her lawyers.
Idk why all these lawyers are shocked. If Sarah gets another lawyer this is going to keep going on and on forever. The judge has had it with her.

BOONE ! You killed him !

I’m more than happy for anyone who is educated in this to correct me!)
Also, I think the judge is doing his best by addressing her snarky comments like how he’s moving it from the 24th to the 26th when he doesn’t have 50 other cases so he can give more time and focus to her case specifically.
If I was her. I’d let my lawyer use ANY argument to get me out or a leaner sentence. Period.
She thinks she’s going to tire out the judge & make him feel sorry for her. Lol
She's going to ask the judge for a suitcase to put her papers in next 😮
😅 best comment of the day.
for someone that excels at everything she does, she sure has a endless amount of excuses to try and get out of pro se
Why are we letting this lady drag this case out. She caught herself on video murdering somebody. Case closed
Sarah Boone literally has nothing else to do but mess around with the justice system...
No matter what plans, she is still going to be sentenced for life
That was nothing special from Boone she was moaning about reporter's being there from day one.
That's the most important thing for her.
After the judge explains his 16 page order she "believes that order is erroneous". This is Boone in a nutshell.
She is quite the actress, never once, in ANY footage has she cried.Neither did she have remorse for killing Jorge Torrez!!! All he wanted was AIR....All she had to do was let him out.
Can you be put in jail for being stupid?! We could bypass all this mess if so.
