OK - Some important clarification: The Smart device found in the H200i, H500i, & H700i will support only Hue+ items. With the release of the H510 Elite , H210i, H510i, H710i (in July) the new Smart Devicev2 will support Hue 2 items. The first Smart Device in the H200i. H500i, and H700 has support for one channel and you can not mix fans and LED Strips.
If you want the full effect with more accessories (cable combs and underglow), multi-channel and mix & match devices on a single channel, you will need the separate Hue 2 module (4 Channels) and/or the Smart Device v2 found on the H210i, H510i, H710i, and H510 Elite (2 Channels).

Will I still be able to control two AER RGB fans on the H500i? This is all quite confusing...

So I don’t get it, I have 2 loose aer rgb 2 fans. I have a h200i but if I get the hue 2 does that mean I can change the fan speed and rgb on the fans?

I've been trying to get the fans and hue 2 system but it seems like they only sell the hue 2 with the ambient lighting kit now and the double/triple pack fans don't exist.
Can you put the rgb strips in your pc and also can you mount the hub in the pc too?

Not sure if I want to spend 110$ on a couple of lighting strips for my monitor, they look really nice but the price just doesn't seem affordable for most people. I completely understand if the cost to make them is really high.

7:29 like the h510 elite? btw nice video but I'm done with cam cause light sync between pump and other stuff is still broken and so annoying, I still have a full s340 elite with full rgb stuff hue+, g12 bracket 2 krakens and I'm selling everything (already cleaned up like new and ready to ship) cause I'm done with closed systems like nzxt and corsair. NZXT you are stuck with cam, coolermaster thermaltake other companies you can go even with no software, or their software or motherboard software, it's up to YOU. P.S. Currently I'm using a CM masterliquid 360 and I'm changing effects and color through pyshical buttons on the rgb cotroller that I got with the AIO cooler with the pump 6 fans and 2 strips attached to it.
P.P.S. HUE 2 RGB Ambient Lighting Kit is nice and looks better and more responsive than Asus Aura Terminal with Halo.

Nah. You'll find old posts about CAM software affecting certain games but they're always pretty old. I haven't seen that issue yet.

You can grab all the accessories through the link in the description for the Ambient Kit if you want to buy from Amazon. If you are local to a Micro Center - they often have individual component stuff in stock

Oh, it's like this. 700i has one channel for lighting, Hue+ has two, Hue 2 has four.

Why does no reviewer ever go over g sync functionality with these ambient light kits. From what I’ve seen every single one breaks g sync unless you’re in windowed mode, which is garbage.
I wish you were German, I understand it but yeah not perfect.

Yes, yes you were. 🎉
Don't buy this. You get blasted by the brightest level of white light until you get to the desktop. The software is buggy and featureless. Despite being set to ambient mode and the CAM application set to start with Windows, it just freezes on the mentioned static white light. Even when you go into the lighting settings you have to toggle the Ambient mode on and off to get it working. Despite all this it's too dull and the refresh rate is awful. It flickers as it transitions between colours it's mimicking on the screen. When you shut down the system the desktop ambient colours remain projected by the LEDs long after the computer shuts down. I spoke to NZXT and got the lamest response regarding these issues. A poorly made product with an abysmal companion app in function and stability.
