This glider is the single biggest lore drop from an item in the entire game, I was actually shocked at how much info was presented, it's a whole summary of Fontaine's history since primordial times
Before sun and Moon crying in the corner... that book litteraly gave us the cosmogony of Teyvat
@@Sacration Nah I'm talking about items not books, books have to provide the most lore because that's what they are supposed to do.
You don't expect to click on a pair of wings and suddenly you learn about history before the Primordial One.
It reminds me of the shaodws against snowstorms event, when Albedo said something like "if creation is an act of arrogance (sin, in the case of fontaine) why do we call those who created and control us gods?"
Answer. Because it turns out they didn't actually create you.
Well morals and common sense aside, let's think abt it in heavenly principles' POV:
Imagine if we somehow manage to create a new world with new miniature lifeforms. In said lifeforms' POV they'll call us gods too, and the fact that we are their creator shows how much power we have over their destiny and thus we have every right to be arrogant and prideful abt it. Which is why we can't stand mere lifeform creating another lifeform, like "oh the fking audacity of some little critters playing gods in MY presence" **cracks knuckles**
The information on this wind glider is such a big lore drop compare to other wing gliders. One tiny detail about each wind glider is that they all radiates anemo power because they are all blessed by the Anemo Archon, that's why we can use it for gliding
as evidenced by the anemo colored feathers flying out every time they’re deployed, no matter the character or glider
Man i want to see Neuvillette in dragon form so bad like apep
Well, He can't use his dragon form anymore the reason is, He reincarnated as human, so that neuvillette human form, is his real form
@vinrise1555 well Neuvillette does not posses his full dragon hood because a part of the dragon's power was stolen by the primordial one and was given to the archons. Maybe he might be able to switch between forms if he gets that stolen power back.
@@vinrise1555in his ascension voiceline
He said if he gets his powers back he will turn into his original / dragon form
And the power of sovereign are in the gnosis soooo
@@KoKoRosie now that made me think
what if tsaritsa is collecting gnosis to return them to the dragon sovereigns and and incite rebellion against celestia?
@@KoKoRosie what i remember only he said he get his original power back, idk maybe i'm gonna watch it later
Umm... I already read it but I think the word "true form" is still a bit unclear. I mean Neuvillette's current "True Form" is human, because he was reincarnated in human form
So i think that's can be 2 answer of "True Form"
His past "True Form" which was a dragon
Or his "True Form" now which was a human
Now knowing that the hydro dragon was the blood of primordial waters or the first heart, it actually makes so much sense why neuvillette feels so connected with the ppl of fontaine. Remember that in his story quest, he said 'my emotions easily resonates with those of others... Though idk why'. And previously, he also said that he has a connection with primordial waters but again, doesn't what kind of connection it is. This implies that there's a connection between him, primordial waters, and the ppl of fontaine
Bro imagine how cool it would be once we see neuvillette in his dragon form. Also I just really want to know who the real hydro archon is and if furina really split herself into 2. Can’t wait for more lore on Egeria
I wonder if Neuvillette actually has a dragon form since he said he wasn't sure why he was born in his current form (I assume he meant human form). So could it be that he just doesnt possess his dragon form or maybe it's like sealed away because he doesn't have his full strength at the moment?
I'm pretty slow when it comes to lore and understanding stuff so don't mind if what I said sounded super dumb lol
@@cocallevi4084his dragon form is sealed away
Once he gets his dragon powers back he will have that form
The real hydro dragon is Scylla and she is sealed my guess is the institute of technology is behind and we are going to find out that way through the world quests. They are definitely hiding their purpose, my guess right now is that Dottore is behind the orders and that a clash will happen between Arlecchino and Dottore. We already know that he uses Renes formula to copy himself
Furina is the hydro Archon bruhh
@@tristanmanalo6252she is but she also isn't Neuvillette precisely says she has a plan, she knows how oratrice works, but suddenly she becames like a blank pattern waiting for you to write everything and knows nothing.
I do think there are 2 furinas. I do think they both share the same body (as stated in her having two skins that switch with charged attack), and the furina we know is the Pneuma one. Pneuma furina apparently knows nothing. Ousia furina maybe supper smart and control everything. So if i have to guess, Pneuma energy is actually something Furina made, while Ousia energy is the original flow of life in teyvat. Which makes me concerned bc Pneuma Energy looks like Light Energy from the Imaginary tree, and Ousia Energy looks like the Sea of Quanta.
Considering the Lore of the Book, where the fake skies break and the Chaos invades, i do think it's possible genshin universe is ALREADY inside Sea of quanta.
We are basically trying to save a doomed world, while i think the Abyss is trying to fight the Imaginary Tree itself.
Isn't that weird how we are switching from nation where Fatui is the problem, and Nation where Abyss is the Main Problem?
Mondstadt - Abyss (Dvalin's Poison)
Liyue - Fatui (Osias Freedom)
Inazuma - Fatui (La Signora sacrifice)
Sumeru - Abyss (Forbbiden Knowledge)
Fontaine - Fatui (Prophecy + Arleccino)
But always in every nation, we have a secondary problem with the other side...
Mondstadt - Fatui (La Signora Destiny)
Liyue - Abyss (The Chasm)
Inazuma - Abyss (Sakura Tree Corruption)
Sumeru - Fatui (Dottore + Scharamouche)
Fontaine - Abyss (Sea of Quanta + Whale)
What if Egeria was not a human but a mechanical humanoid or something, that way, she could still hold the gnosis, as well as parts of her in different places could be explained too, like Oratrice has some of her powers, Tree in desert has some, The Amrita pool is the last of the remains
Plus it fits Fontaine's Theme too, just a theory though
You're right
Sooo many theories about Furina and I feel like all of them are going to be wrong by the end, they're gonna surprise us with something out of left field 🤣 Since not even leakers are willing to spoil it.
It's wonderful and amazing to see how much information we can get from a simple description of a wind glider... The attention to detail is truly magnificent in Genshin, makes the plot more indulging ❤❤ can't wait for the 4.2 update...!!
Fontaine stories are so complex compared to other nations.
And I thought Sumeru was complex
Other nations' stories are also complex, it's just that their expansions aren't done yet.
Mondstadt was co-ruled by Istaroth and Venti. There's also Dorman Port where Yanfei was attacked and Eula had to save her. Not to mention the "legendary Dandelion Sea."
Liyue's secrets are yet to be uncovered, with how Orobashi fled from Liyue to Inazuma, to Xiao's old master, the herblord, and more. Blackcliff Forge and Chenyu Vale aren't released yet, so that's two more expansions. Also Guizhong death is vv sus.
We're getting to know it inch by inch just like what we did with other nations' lores. Trust me, you'll understand it someday
I've had a few mostly baseless theories about the hydro archon, from Neuvillette absorbing the consciousness of Egeria, to them still existing in some way as the one pulling the strings.
It'll feel like a bit of a cop-out if the gnosis is what's powering the Oratrice since they already did that whole bit in Sumeru (and Liyue to some extent), plus I don't think they would make it so mysterious if it was
Edit: After watching the video, I now suspect the Remus is probably related to the Oratrice, and that he might be the one Neuvillette was apologising to after sealing the Primordial Sea
@harryshade5700litteraly, why would Neuvillette the new hydro Sovereign, apologies to Remus, a god, envoy of Celestia ? .... Nah Primordial water is linked to Egeria as the new heart of the Primordial sea and his past self, the old heart... hes either talking to his past self or Egeria... certainly not Remus
It also implied that Remus like many other kings (Decarabian, Orobashi, Deshret) were driven into madness (just like what happens to the Harbingers and they turn sadistic due to Delusion). Someone pushed them to the edge. It is also given to us that each king died with the best of their people's interest in their mind (Tsaritsa creates Delusions with the forbidden power of the Abyss with the people of Snezhnaya in her mind). Remus in particular attempted to restore peace. It was Boethius that stole the goblet with Ichor and sealed the dragon. Some one less powerful than Remus could not have possibly done it without the help of someone else. Humans in all of Teyvat want someone to help them out of the difficulties and disputes that happen between them. It is afterall the reason why Zhongli was approved by the people of Liyue and helped with its trade and why Venti became the force and symbol for Old Mondstat's rebellion. Celestia always takes advantage of the Archon's for that. Humans do not seek to be judged nor punished but that it is why they prefer having Gods who can enforce the 'laws' of Teyvat to those who wrong them. I suspect Fontainians felt guilty after king Remus' fiasco and Egeria was kind enough to help them. She was too kind and thus the criminals of Fontaine were sparred and exiled. She even helped the ones who regretted their actions and appointed them with the Fortress of Meropide. I'm almost certain that whoever was responsible for the death of all the first "criminals" is also in contact with Pantalone who was ruling financially the fortress until Wriothesley came. In my opinion, Fontaine is already dead and Focalors is in denial of that, which explains why she has a split personality (different colours of the eyes). She has used the Gnosis (which we know has some of the Sovereigns power) to stop time but since Neuvi is getting a stronger sense of justice for the people the need to move on without her is evident. The whale that Childe saw I believe is Scylla who is also trapped in the Premordial waters under the Fortress of Meropide. To continue this crazy theory of mine, I believe that the new Fortuna ship that Wrio is building will be used after the traveller will help Neuvi with Scylla and secure that Furina is stable and the people safe. Just like with Mondstad, Liyue, Inazuma and Sumeru humans must learn to live with their mistakes and own up to them instead of relying on Gods. To some point a cure for the Fontainias on ship will have to be found. Probably the traveller will have to deal with Celestia and the Premordial one. I believe that the Premordial One was weakened by the Second who came and it is the four shades who try to fight the head of the Abyss and our sibling the prince/princess. The dead gods and civilizations of Teyvat need appeasing and our sibling who has joined the Abyss has shown us before that they did that because they feel it is their duty to help and I believe is the same for the Tsaritsa. She and the Fatui gave the info about the Descenders and I believe she's attempting to destroy all the external factors that influence Teyvat hence she fights Celestia, the Abyss and us.
Yeah this does make sense the one who create tevyat are primordial one, they failed to defeat external force now its our duty to do so. it still not connected why khaenriah/possibly remus mages summon us/golden troupe to fight it i think thats because they took pride because they are humans created by primordial one?
That Fontaine lore escalated quickly.
the whole ‘primordial sea’s heart’ thing reminded me about what venti said about pangu in the genshin manga, and when i looked him up his description was strikingly similar to that of phanes..
Pangu, Purusha and Ymir... we dont have much infos on them
yeah but on that same page, Venti says "in other, distant worlds" so idk for sure if those are 1 to 1 beings in teyvat but then again idk how he would know about other worlds so it's a little confusing.
The lore in the Hydro glider was crazy. Up there with the KFC one.
What was the kfc glider about?
@@LordYoniAlice tells Klee about how dragons, who used to look like a mix of lizards and chickens, used to live everywhere until humans appeared and started eating them.
@@itav5523 Ah lol. Thanks
Sumeru and fontaine lore man............. Sooo good
Real
Great summary & lore video ❤
Just wanted to point out, at least my understanding of the description is that Egeria was the new heart the shade created and that the shard she obtains is of the original sovereign, not the primordial one [a.k.a. her gnosis]
True, it can have two interpretations. First could be first sovereign or the first god/primordial one.
"That is why the primordial sea's heart, gentle Egeria, was awarded a shard of that one who was first, and gained both an Archon's right and the divine duty-come-lately."
@CatWithBlueHat yeah, reading it again, it definitely could be seen both ways. Hopefully, 4.2 drops some more lore for us to explore & maybe we can get to know for sure what happened! 😎💙
Edited for Spelling
I'm with you on this.
I agree
i more leaning towards the shard she received being the gnosis since it's described as "a shard of that one who was first, and gained both an archon's right..," etc. and we now know, thanks to Neuvillette, that the gnosi are made from the power taken from the dragon sovereigns, and "that one who was first" is most likely referring to the first hydro dragon/heart.
This all makes me hyped for the livestream
Feels like Rukhadevatta and Nahida all over again.
the original sin was commited when the people of the first civilization tried to scape from that "100 years of good times, than destruction" sentence, they stop worshiping celestia as their god
i have a theory that every nation brings a thing of the first civilization, and fontaine (and their ancestors) brings their sin...
with this in mind, that's why people of fontaine (and ancestors) are always looking for a god, because they stop worshiping their original god, that's why they're always in a search to scape from the cycle of destruction, and that's why they are sinners.
my personal running theory was that euvy said the dragons used to be a at full power but their power was seperated and became the archons. So furina is trying to relinquish that power BACK to neuvilette so that he can be at full power again and stop the primordial waters from infiltrating and sinking fontaine.
explains why she was so confident about her nation's future in front of father yet hesitant to explain to her what she was doing.
The heart doesn't mean gnosis
The heart is basically the will of the primordial sea . First it was the original soverign aka scylla and after getting sealed by Boethius (read remuria lore)
The shade of life created another heart to replace it since without the heart no the reproduction of merfolk would stop.
That's basically mean that egeria was the first hydro dragon reincarnation before neuvillette and there is a high possibility that neuvillette was born as a result of her death 500 years ago
I love the spoiler warning but at the same time read the video title and the thumbnail 😂
Imagine if Hydro Dragon is Basically a Hydra, when it killed its split to 2. Maybe Furina and Neuvilette ?
So far i see the different vibe for the definition of "Dragon" in every region
Monstandt - a usual Dragon that we know have 2 wings, 2 arms and 2 legs separated
Liyue - Chinese Dragon
Inazuma - Japanese Snake Dragon
Sumeru - Dragon Tree
And maybe Now in Fontaine basically Hydro/Hydra Dragon ? Since Hydra can also be called as Water Dragon
Im not good at described every other region dragon 😂😂 can anyone give a proper name 😂
Maybe like Monstandt one we can called it as Wivern ? Im sticking into Inazuma one since it is legit a Dragon Snake like Orobashi 😂
Now Freminette dialogue during trailer make sense now
"The 'Original Sin' is the fairest..."
I know that he refer it to the previous Hydro Archon but not expecting to see the title in description of an item so early
It's not freminet's dialogue, that's Egeria
Here is something to have in mind; Farina her starbuild means "choir of animal" - I think every creature in the water of Fontaine (that we can use for his power) is a part of Furina
But maybe it's just her build 🤔
No it means "the animals of the stage" or "Little soul of the mechanical device"
@@Sacration if you use a translation tool from Latin to English it said like this. Your translation is based on Hoyoverse Fandom ^^
egeria was created with the hydro dragon's body, and that's why neuvillette was born in human form
Venti is most likely related to shade of time (and wind), Istaroth.
So maybe Egeria is related to shade of life maybe? Or she's literally created by that shade. 🤔
@harryshade5700 By shade of life right?
I think it's probable. It would make sense that the shade mentioned is indeed the shade of life as they were "tasked to create life" iirc.
Makes me wonder if all the current archons are related to a shade or maybe more than one shade.
@@ehlannahfhey2347 Yeah, some might also think Zhongli is related to shade of space, but dunno.. 😅
It litteraly says in the wind glider that "the patron whom duty is to create life" or something like that... She was litteraly created by the shade of Life, it cant be more clearer than that
@@Sacration Okay.
Hmmm, Oceanid said in Springvale that the former Hydro Archon Egeria was assassinated, imagine Furina is the Gnosis
Hello CatWithBlueHat! Remember your live stream on October 15th? The thumbnail read something like 'Let's get some achievements'...you beat the experimental field generator only with Lumine? And maybe while doing the Treacherous Light of the Depth or whatever it is, some quest, you ran into some books with lore and came across 'Dryas Wood' which you said could be a new region. That name actually popped up on my screen while I was compelting the quest 'Villains'
Ooh that's interesting! Thanks for the info
@@CatWithBlueHat
i saw the thumbnail and everything fell into place in my head
you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain
- two face AKA harvey dent ( the dark knight , 2008)
my belief is that the hydro dragons heart is pumping blood, maybe it was brought back by the abyss in order to put fight celestia, i still dont know where the artifact dainsleiv was searching is
Came for the lore, stayed for the music.
There are a lot of metaphors in Genshin lore, don't take everything at face value.
2:50 I always remember batman with that one
Im going to get the wind glider the next day, i hope so..
Sooo Furina is half dragon half archon? That would explain the duality of her character and in a lot of other stuff in Fontaine. (Probably wrong so it's okay to point it out)
Can you make voiced videos again? They're very entertaining and easy to watch
10 THINGS U MISSED IN 4.2 TRAILER WHEREEEE ❤❤❤
2:51 Dark Knight reference
Soo... were my assumptions true then?
Tbh Furina didn't felt like she wanted the position of archon and I thought that she's just the face of fontain and doesn't really know about what an archon is meant to be.
In short, there are no hydro archon.
And with Neuvillette final ascension voice line it seem he's has now the authority of a hydro archon but is not the archon.
Hmmmm
My goal is to collect all archons in my roster but I skip Neuvillette for Furina but it seems i did it for nothing.
Current Intertwined Fate count : 270
I realized that people makes theory about Furina being a fake Archon but she is clearly one of the seven. Remember those ridiculous rules Furina made... like the first 3 days of months, no flying object is allowed to be released? She made the rule maybe not because she perhaps scared of fireworks or balloons but what if the rule is made specifically for Paimon and traveler? Her heterochromia eyes could be a sign of clairvoyance ability, after all she's an Archon. She must have deal something with the Tsaritsa and already predicted the traveler will come to Fontaine next... Just a baseless theory of mine but it's worth to think about.
she is not the original archon but she is not fake because I think she is like nahida a replacement for the original archon
Did anyone know the title of the song at 3:42 ?
Does primordial gem also related to any dragon sovereign?

Is the gnosis in Furinas weapon?
2:53 that's batman?😭😭
hmm i don't see how the heart of the hydro archon is the gnosis, if she was created from a none-outside world matter then the gnosis should be an outside matter is it not?
anyone knows the song at 4:30?
Treasury from The Northland
I disagree with Egeria being the "heart" part as in the gnosis. Like most people agreed on reddit, its most likely an abstract representation of something that used to rule the hydro nation. Heart here doesnt represent hydro dragon's heart, but most likely an abstract of "ruler". Egeria doesnt have a direct connection with the previous hydro dragon. She is a new ruler made by one of the four (most likely life) to replace hydro dragon rule.
dam... my assumptions that I commented 11 days ago were true...
Hmm..... 2 Archon Fontaine maybe,,,..... "Heart of The Dragon and Pure Water" 😅
what is this ‘original sin’ again?? Sorry I’m a little lost😅
Bruh
fontaine archon quests especially the last two have been really boring for me, but at the same time the most intriguing so far lmfao
Shenhe rerun:0?
4.4 or 4.5
Egeria is hydro dragon. She married to Reimus and have neuvillette. As he got mad she killed him and her heart poisoned by grief making the Fontaine water turned acidic. Furina take her poisoned gnosis and put her in place. Furina then put the gnosis inside oratrice to purify but she used her all powers to repent the corruption. She also make neuvillette stay alive. She did everything for her people.
Too much theories. Some theories gets popular while the others sinks into the depths. The popular one was resulted as wrong theory after the truth was revealed.
Man, this is giving me trust issues but about the "theories" 😨
