since Stormterror is chill now Genshin should really have it changed and reclaimed by Monstadt, maybe through quest lock, could be 5.0 or something or Natlan prelude, that’ alot of area for basically nothing but boss domain, the gloomy and sad theme is cool and all but come on stormterror, it’s not that deep.
tbh that constant freeze was annoying af not letting you fully explore in peace and making you always think about that freeze scale even in battle. Like there was that huge enemy and I wasn’t able to beat him not because I was too weak, but because he casted too much freezing power and there were no heat source nearby, so I had to jump through hoops to defeat him. Idk, maybe some players find it fun - I didn’t.
I personally do think there will be a future hole beneath stormterror. Mondstadt as a whole isnt leaving my lore relevant list for a very VERY long time
I'm still high on copium about old Mondstadt still playing a part in the story with this hole, because there no reason why would there be a out of bounds near it
That would be fun because Mondstadt is the only region without some sort of accessible cave, and I really expected there to be when I first played. It needs to catch up to other regions lol

@@dominicjannazo7144 oh yeah true, i figured maybe if all the doors are unloaded it’d be possible, but i forgot that wriothesley’s office is technically a domain lol
I wonder if nilou's world has that since Fontaine wasn't made yet that time. But if game copies player current world for real world, I'd like to see what's underneath opera Epiclese

But then again, he might be able to by-pass that escape pipe with that one NPC standing there to block you which later we fix some device to make some barrier set to place, which will both not be there if it's Nilou's world. And Wriothesley's room and his ship is just literally below the map.

Can you show the area where the Cryo Hypostatis is? In 1.2 when Dragonspine first came out there was a hole in the middle of that location to enter the caves below. But in 1.5 when the cryo cube came out the hole was covered up with ice. I want to know if Nilou's world would have the 1.2 version or 1.5 version. Also, Wuwang Hill (spooky area) would be really interesting to tour without the area effects.
You can call it "Nilou's Secret World" so people can understand, but this is known as "BigWorld_LevelStreaming", scene number 1. There are three of them and the third one is the Teyvat we all know. This first scene is always empty as you are describing. Even some effects are considered objects like that one "SceneObj_Environment_WindField_DragonNest_Barrier". Even the 'sit down' option is considered an object (operator). That seal from Stormterror is known as "SceneObj_Gear_Operator_DragonNest_Seal", which is also an operator. I don't remember the name of the flying pillar, but for your curiosity that's one of the few objects that loads from anywhere in Teyvat, no matter the distance.
Does the sakura tree in Inazuma also count as the object that loads from anywhere in the world? Because I swear that thing is brighter then our future, and cuts through any storm.
Could you explain more about the scenes? I'm curious if they take up extra file size, and why there's so much stuff still loaded. And how did Moosashi even get Nilou out of bounds?
@@SoPap Sure! Let me say first that clone scenes, like this Teyvat number 3, should not take extra file size. The game is like most open world games. Developers start to create a very raw landscape that is almost flat. I saw the flat surface of Teyvat and I can barely recognize the places. Then, common elements like rocks, trees, fences, buildings... They all come from a common resource block. They are literally "blk" (b.l.oc.k) files inside. (You can check them!). They are inserted in the scene by command (it must have a terminology among developers). If a third Teyvat is added to the whole game... That would take a huge amount of size. So they rely on common resources to insert in the scene. Think about this process like Super Mario Maker. A list of resources and you tell the game what do you want to load. Learning how games are developed is really useful through 3D games from Nintendo. They are easy to understand (if you find suitable channels that explain it). For the out of bounds trick... That is a next step. For what I know about this game, there is a file called user assembly. It contains very important information about the functionality of the game. For example the cooldown from skill and ult., the debug menu, the map info, the teleport data and all the collectible-related items (weapons and relics (how artifacts are called in files)), character list and similar. Since teleport is involved... The information between the selected scene and user assembly must work together in perfect conditions. Which means, if something fails in the scene, then something wrong could happen in the user assembly, and viceversa. This is very easy to see in Genshin Impact private servers. What they do at first in their private server is to remove cooldown from characters. As I said, teleport data is involved, and so does Paimon! She is widely known for blocking the area limits. The red out of bound parts that you see in the map depends on Paimon, specifically. This barrier is set for each scene. For example, the second Teyvat doesn't have a barrier at all, and many indoor areas do not have red barrier / paimon (such as domains. You can fly beyond fake skybox). But! Favonius Knights building has a very strict red area, so the player gets kicked quick (I have a video for that). Which means, this barrier is a exclusive trait for the game. So how could this really happen? If private servers can delete the barrier / paimon... there must be something behind. In fact, those people that are members of the private server usually edit internal files to achieve the full modification. And that is user assembly, that I mentioned ealier. In fact, Genshin hacks need a compulsory user assembly loaded in the memory. However, some glitches from the game have revealed that the user assembly rules can be ignored. Now the answer to your second question. Dialogue is a huge problem. Not for this game... but for many others. (One of the most famous Zelda Ocarina of Time speedruns was done with a dialogue glitch!). Most dialogues make the background information to be frozen. Some are not affected by it, though (such as the storm from Inazuma). But it highly damages the purpose of Paimon. When the player talks... Paimon can't stop the player from entering the red boundary (Camera mode can also block Paimon temporarily, but not delete it). If this is performed on a veeery specific scene, such as the Nilou mission, it leads to chaos, literally. I remember that mission, too. That moment has anything and everything to cause this glitch. First the dialogue, second the trial activation, and third the progress of the mission itself. You must know that trial characters are executed on a specific area and mission. That is, if the player leaves the invisible space reserved for the trial character... that trial character leaves the team immediately. I see a very sharp similarity from this glitch to the NPC glitch that allows the players to walk beyond the red area. I think it fails in the same way. The developers of the game already made some procedures to fix glitches related menu animation, dialogue status, trial characters and even flying! I'm pretty sure the user assembly messed up when dialogue gets confused. The code that is in charge of preventing the player to move makes Paimon useless in exchange. I hope I didn't confuse you that much... I know a lot from years of interest in hacks, glitches, facts, programming and so on. I also try to discover them myself, too. I already dig in old games from consoles just to edit or extract the rom file and have fun on observing how game works internally. For this Genshin experience I must say it is really interesting. How most things depend on user assembly and Internet connection. If you navigate through Internet you might have saw already glitches related to disconnection. That is the second way to destroy the game, apart from user assembly. But those connection glitches are not that dangerous... I mean, they are usually related to stamina, player position (xyz), and items status (for example a chest that was opened reappears as closed, as it was known from a Sumeru pyramid glitch back then). Do you see it? What I listed for connection glitches has nothing to do with user assembly. So the dialogue and the input of player made both trial character and paimon features to be GONE. Of course... If Internet is disconnected what could happen afterwards... Answer yourself... Think about it... Yes, it might be a position (xyz) reset! When something goed wrong in the mission progress, the game automatically makes an appeal with all the background processes of the game. Result? Player returns to initial position, initial mission objective, disabled trial character and enabled paimon. Of course, if the player was... exactly about to end the mission, sometimes the player is lucky and the mission jumps to the next step (weird case). Now I'm really finished. Sorry for this long explanation. Now you know that there is a long development behind. Scenes... Resources... Codes... Background processes... and long etcetera. If you have any question and I can answer it from what I know. If someone more expert than me read this comment... Please, let me know if I'm wrong 🙂🙂 Thanks for reading!! If you want even more information i'm happy to share it on a Discord chat where I can send screenshots, too (only if you are interested 😅 Mine is DAViD#0108 or davidlightblue).
@davidlightblue2023 thanks for the explanation! I always find the inner workings of games very interesting (even if i dont know a thing about the code myself lol). When I get the chance I'll add you on Discord, name is similar to Tora on there ^^
An empty world of Teyvat, along with the background music makes me cry as if the theory that Teyvat is just like a *Limbo* where all souls from across worlds gather to live another life.
3:15 I feel like I laughed harder at this than I should've lmao I wonder if this is like a developer version of the world or something? Like a blank slate so they can add only the assets they need for the specific instance? Super cool either way (and a little creepy), thanks for showing it off!
Thats interesting. So dying in this segment will teleport you back to the games starting position. And since Sumeru city has such high areas, its actually quite possible to accidentally die from fall damage and end up being teleported to the start of the game, with no way of teleporting back
I can't tell you just how that Dragonspine portion made me feel. I stopped playing Genshin a little after Inazuma released, so I don't know why I got recommended this, or why I decided to watch... Me and my friends played Genshin together when it first came out, and I remember the day Dragonspine released we hopped on a call and started exploring together despite also having a virtual lecture we had to pay attention to. Even though we're all going off on quite different paths now, seeing Dragonspine and hearing the music again after such a long time brought all those memories back, and it got me kind of emotional and I don't know... Sorry for rambling on like this, lol. I miss those simpler times.
dragonspine is also my favorite place and it looks amazing without weather just sun only the reflectivity of the snow is bit too much ngl I just want to see watatsumi with seirai island
thats the no NPC glitch ! I saw a few videos of it back in 3.1 and I was planning to make a video on it once I get more footage tho it would be nice if u at least mentioned about all the content creators that made videos about it a year ago there is not a single interactable object and all barriers dont work, even the one in the second sumeru desert, u can explore the giant tornado, also u can go out of bound or just softlock by jumping into the chasm hole or enkanomiya this glitch is called the no NPC glitch because the first thing u notice is the lack of npc but actually its just the whole map 3d model loaded but without any of its objects which is quite nice for exploration, tho sadly the paimon barrier still exist also, the background scenery is broken and there is no fog which makes it even better
I wouldn't say it's a "glitch", the map's original state is devoid of NPCs/interactables. It's only when the player gets within a certain proximity will the game load the npcs/interactives because there's just no reason to otherwise. It would just be a terrible use of memory. My best guess is that there's probably some json file that contains all the npc data within an area and probably only one slot to insert that data so during Nilou's quest, the game is already using that "slot" for the npc/interactables within Sumeru and the script that usually updates the player's range is probably overridden by the quest
@@Pyrolite true but it doesnt change the fact that it was named like that more than half a year ago and was explored by many creators that didnt even get a mention here
when I think of dragonspine, I can't help but to remind of how brutal the weather effect was as I explored it before I even fought dvalin at his castle. the ennemies were a challenge too, but nothing I couldn't bear. the most dangerous chapter in my lumine's adventure. even when facing signora, i got flashbacks of these brutal times. then, I think of the future trip to sneznaya and i wonder... will I be ready for that freezing cold? will i have enough bortch cooked? well... at least if this is to be one of the final region to visit (the last if not counting kaenriah and celestia), at least it'll be a worty challenge.
Dragonspine is so beautiful without the freezing and monsters and annoying frost wind storms. I never notice it was this beautiful I love mountainous land scapes before fontine I loved liyue the most. But now I think Dragonspine is just my cup of tea.
Thank you for sharing this experience!! It's amazing how much the world is still explorable and in high detail for such a small part of an Archon quest that 99% of the playerbase wouldnt even see.
I tried to teleport away as Baizhu, but that made me listen to the whole cutscene again. I didn't know that in case of Nilou, it's totally different! Nilou woke up to the empty world. It's like in some kind of horror or other kind of story, where something is not right. Main character tries to search for anyone but there is nobody around. The fun part is that You still got Sumeru's background music, even in the Mondstadt. I guess it's because map doesn't notice that You are there. Everything is missing, so is the boundaries of BGM, lol. Yeah, I always wnated to go beyond these gates near the Thousand Winds Temple. I was actually surprised and disappointed when I learned that there is nothing there. I expected they will make a hidden entrance and a chest, but nope.
Dragonspine is not ONE of my most favourite locations, but IS my most favourite location. I absolutely loved how dark, cold and gloomy it is. On top of that, it also has the best music in the game. Whenever I'm bored, I would just visit there, and enjoy the atmosphere. Sunny Dragonspine is fine, but for me, the original one will always be the best one.
This gives me back that feeling of melancholy and dread The Shadow of the Colossus landscapes gave me back in the day. Seeing Stormterror's Lair and the other ruins with no climate effects or all the ghost towns is just so impactful, makes it feel like some sort of post-apocalyptic scenario went on.
If there was ever the slight possibility a LIS "save Arcadia Bay vs. save Chloe" kind of scenario could be implemented to Genshin's final quest, it would make for such a depressingly astonishing creative choice to have the Traveler walk through the barren lands alone, after everything was destroyed or something. Oh, well. One can only fantasize.
This is the first time in years that I felt like I was discovering cool hidden things in this game again (probably because I used to watch a lot of Genshin glitch videos before even start playing, like the rocket Xiangling one) Thank you for this amazing video, it made me feel like a brand new player even after 3 years
Wow somehow Dragonspine became even more magical! I wonder what kind of mechanisms there were to stop players from doing this. If it was rather lax then maybe it was a little nod from the developers lol
About that teleport priority list, I once managed to teleport from sumeru to mondstat city by dying in a “let’s explore the area ahead of us later” zone from withering, it was before all of sumeru was released, can’t find exact date but it was early October of 2022 (maybe a bit earlier) Couldn’t move my character out because paimon took control for a bit, and couldn’t get out because the cliff was angled too high, so I just had to stay there while paimon yelled at me over 20 times, yes, I did count. But why did it bring me back to mondstat? Not the starting beach, mondstat city?

It's always a good day when Moosashi uploads. It's like a loot box, you don't know what's inside until you open it
3:15 I feel like I laughed harder at this than I should've lmao
I wonder if this is like a developer version of the world or something? Like a blank slate so they can add only the assets they need for the specific instance? Super cool either way (and a little creepy), thanks for showing it off!
Nilou had enough of dancing she joined the adventurers guild
This is truly wonderful, dragonspine without the sheer cold is a magical place , can't wait for the other videos coming out
A bright and sunny Dragonspine looks absolutely beautiful.
Clear Dragonspine making me crying, it's so good.
Wow, this has the potential for a creepypasta like story, like a variation of the clasic "I'm alone in this world"
If dragonspine didn’t have sheer cold (like this) it’d be one of the best areas in my opinion
Dragonspine with that lighting was absolutely beautiful... I wish we had a way to experience it outside of Nilou's world
Now i want to remove dragonspines curse so bad😭 it looked so prettyyy
All roads lead back to Mondstadt
Sunny Dragon Spine is something else.. you partnered it with that music.. its so Serene.
The alternate reality where Kaveh gone berserk and deleted everything.
Sunny Dragonspine feels like a snow in April that is soon about to melt. Love to see it
Thats interesting. So dying in this segment will teleport you back to the games starting position. And since Sumeru city has such high areas, its actually quite possible to accidentally die from fall damage and end up being teleported to the start of the game, with no way of teleporting back
Dragonspine is amazing without sheer cold and I hope I can visit too in this way. Always a very big thanks for the video
Dragonspine looks gorgeous with AND without weather. How fitting Nilou would show us a perfect world
why is this video oddly emotional and nostalgic
Man, your storytelling is always so great. Or maybe it’s just easy to hold my attention, idk.
Stormterror without the wind effects is beautful I want more like overgrown stone ruins
Yes, Dragonspine without fog and cold, just sunny, is actually feels surreal
I can see Nilou isn't just a dancer
dragonspine is also my favorite place and it looks amazing without weather just sun only the reflectivity of the snow is bit too much ngl
I just want to see watatsumi with seirai island
goddamn! that dragonspine music hits the nostalgia so good.
Damn, dragonspine is also my favorite subregion
Thanks for including Dragonspine, its one of my favourite places to visit, alongside stormterrors liar.
Moosashi YOU FOROGT ABOUT THE CHASM 😭
thats the no NPC glitch ! I saw a few videos of it back in 3.1 and I was planning to make a video on it once I get more footage
tho it would be nice if u at least mentioned about all the content creators that made videos about it a year ago
there is not a single interactable object and all barriers dont work, even the one in the second sumeru desert, u can explore the giant tornado, also u can go out of bound or just softlock by jumping into the chasm hole or enkanomiya
this glitch is called the no NPC glitch because the first thing u notice is the lack of npc but actually its just the whole map 3d model loaded but without any of its objects which is quite nice for exploration, tho sadly the paimon barrier still exist
also, the background scenery is broken and there is no fog which makes it even better
@@Pyrolite true but it doesnt change the fact that it was named like that more than half a year ago and was explored by many creators that didnt even get a mention here
wow dragonspine is beautiful when its not cancer clouded and depressing grey
when I think of dragonspine, I can't help but to remind of how brutal the weather effect was as I explored it before I even fought dvalin at his castle. the ennemies were a challenge too, but nothing I couldn't bear. the most dangerous chapter in my lumine's adventure. even when facing signora, i got flashbacks of these brutal times.
then, I think of the future trip to sneznaya and i wonder... will I be ready for that freezing cold? will i have enough bortch cooked? well... at least if this is to be one of the final region to visit (the last if not counting kaenriah and celestia), at least it'll be a worty challenge.
Now we know why Moosashi loves Nilou so much /j
Ok- but Nilou sitting on the NPC is hilarious for me.
Tayvat found its peace at last.
man i got very happy with Dragonspine at the end
This proves that Nilou is the true god of Teyvat
sunny day at dragonspine are majestic
The Dragonspine we need
Dragonspine is so beautiful without the freezing and monsters and annoying frost wind storms. I never notice it was this beautiful I love mountainous land scapes before fontine I loved liyue the most. But now I think Dragonspine is just my cup of tea.
Dragonspine looks so beautiful
i wish we cld all run around in there... (i also wish my laptop cld handle genshin so i cld do that lol)
the dragonspin is so beautifull
Dragonspine is so beautiful when you're not fighting for your life to not freeze to death and can actually see where you're going
Thank you for sharing this experience!! It's amazing how much the world is still explorable and in high detail for such a small part of an Archon quest that 99% of the playerbase wouldnt even see.
I literally started to write an entire fanfiction based on this.......Nilou's perfect world......
Nilou using goddes of flower powers
omg... the nightmare when goes to nilou's world is truely amazing!
Nilous Dragonspine is magical...
This is so genius!! Thank you for wandering around in Nilou's world! Now I kinda want to try it for myself too ;-;
I tried to teleport away as Baizhu, but that made me listen to the whole cutscene again.
I loved dragonspine
Oh, well. One can only fantasize.
the Dwalin`s tower gives Lordaeron vibes
This dragonspine is so beautiful !
Thanks Nilou !
This is the first time in years that I felt like I was discovering cool hidden things in this game again (probably because I used to watch a lot of Genshin glitch videos before even start playing, like the rocket Xiangling one)
Thank you for this amazing video, it made me feel like a brand new player even after 3 years
The Painted World of Nilou
Seeing Nilou dancing on the top of Dragonspine was so heartwarming
Wow somehow Dragonspine became even more magical! I wonder what kind of mechanisms there were to stop players from doing this. If it was rather lax then maybe it was a little nod from the developers lol
The sun shines so bright, endearing Dragonspine. ❤
The moment the archon quest allows Nilou only, my thought would be to wait for another Moosashi's shinenigan
That would be Twyvat after the game ends... no people, no domains, nothing. Only the traveller going around and around
u can go thruh the wind barrier everytime its a rlly easy glitch
i like how u even put effort into adding subtitles
The most interesting thing about this is the Sumer theme playing in Mondstadt. I can’t believe you didn’t notice it.
Nilou's world is just Germany on Sundays. Everything is closed
About that teleport priority list, I once managed to teleport from sumeru to mondstat city by dying in a “let’s explore the area ahead of us later” zone from withering, it was before all of sumeru was released, can’t find exact date but it was early October of 2022 (maybe a bit earlier)
Couldn’t move my character out because paimon took control for a bit, and couldn’t get out because the cliff was angled too high, so I just had to stay there while paimon yelled at me over 20 times, yes, I did count.
But why did it bring me back to mondstat? Not the starting beach, mondstat city?
Nilou confirmed to bring world peace! Not even Dragonspine is bad in her world! ^^
“The map is devoid of markers and everything ONLY NILOU”
ONLY MONIKA
ONLY MONIKA
ONLY MONIKA
Next thing that came to my mind….
“No Kathrine works at the desk of the adventure guild”
FINALLY WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY THE NILOU
Indeed, the last part was the best. What a beautiful place.
If only Dragonspine always looked like that...
