Same reason I rolled for Verdict for Navia. It's only about 7% more damage than my R5 serpent spine but the drip was immaculate.

From a character design standpoint, I LOVE that they’re making signature weapons more signature (looking at you Nilou and Ayaka) but from a wallet standpoint I hate it lol

Wriothesley is honestly the most well made in terms of sig weapon design from ftp standpoint. It looks fitting for him, but also doesn't make you want to pull for it because of looks alone, since it almost never shows up while actually using it by Wriothesley. This makes it so that you can go with the most agreagious looking weapon on Wriothesley, and still look good with it xD
First time I've seen someone talk well about It. Usually people complain about the crappy effect the other weapons get when transforming into a synthe (forgot how to spell but you get what I mean)

3:03 i literally just recently watched a vid on Arlecchino that showcased the little differences Arlecchino has compared to the other “tall female” character models - like for example in her walking animation she steps heel-first instead of toe-first and her shoulders don’t sway as much! her overall posture is much more rigid and her footsteps also sound “sharper” and more metallic
she also doesn’t have a combat standby pose like most characters do where they still hold onto their weapon for a second or two after you stop attacking - as soon as you stop attacking with Arle she immediately gets rid of her weapon!
i just love that hoyo put a little extra effort into making her feel unique since she’s such an important (and fan favorite) character 🫶
I'm playing as I read this and I'm looking at the differences you mentioned. They're pretty cool. I have her in a team with Raiden and Xianyun so I was able to compare. They're really interesting.
Makes sense since the way you would hold a scythe in a combat ready position is completely different from how the tall females hold a spear. It would have looked kind of goofy holding a scythe blade back behind you with one hand. Nice touch to avoid that though.
All of each normal attacks at the end, the way she took away her weapon is just so smooth unlike other polearm wielders.
i'd like to note that Itto also always puts away his claymore when he's done attacking, he doesn't have a stance where he's just holding his claymore
The two things I dont like about Hu Tao is losing her pyro infusion when switching characters and her charge attack. Arlecchino simply feels really good to handle.
i hate how her A1 could've easily been swapped with her C1. They gave charged attack stamina reduction to DILUC but not HU TAO?

Such a fun character! I love how one of her normal attacks pulls enemies toward you. It's a small thing, but I don't think a lot of other characters do that so it feels really novel and cool when you ragdoll a hilichurl's corpse behind you

shes also f a s t, her basic and charged attack teleports her really far makes enemies that are spread Apart easy to deal with
I only just realized this today when that attack happened to be the one that finished an enemy off and they went flying a few feet before hitting the ground and dissipating altogether
The one thing that is a downside when playing Arle in overworld is that she CONSTANTLY sets the grass on fire and damages herself that way. And I just can't let her have even a tiny bit of health missing (but that's a me-problem)
She absolutely does more damage than my Wanderer and is amazing for overworld but I also can't take him off my team because of how useful he is for exploration and the more squishy trash mobs lying around.
The grass thing is something that triggers me a little bit too.
For me, her only downside is that her normal attacks look way too good, especially when infused which causes me to waste time watching her attack air

I really hope when Captain and Damsel comes they'd get the same treatment. Far as voice lines goes, those 2 are far stronger and dangerous than she is so it'd be a dumb move on Hoyo if they make them into Dehya

All polearm characters work like that. They literally dash forward when charging attacks. One of the reasons HuTao is so annoying to play.

And she doesn't have her dedicated supports yet, I can see a 5 star Bennett pyro archon, a BoL support, a pyro Gorou/Sara/Faruzan/Shenhe coming

Chevreuse doesn't give 40% pyro crit damage like Gorou/Sara/Faruzan, she is more of a Nilou for overload.

Arle really tested me. Lost her 50/50 to a c5(!) Diluc, and lost the Weapon Banner to Lyney's bow and Skyward Spine. I was ready to fold since I needed to save 180 pulls for Clorinde.
But on the same day, I burned through 10 Fragile Resin to get her to Lv.90, got 100% on the entire new region, and went into my Teapot to get the primos from furniture sets. And my conviction was rewarded! Now I actually get sad whenever I'm done with my dailies because I can't rip more shit with Arle - my god she's unbelievably fun!
Yep. It's been literally YEARS, from early 2021, when I last time had real fun playing this game and now I'm enjoying playing Arlecchino so much, I platinum'd the latest combat event, I've cleared abyss twice, I've collected almost all chests (had quite a few zones lying unfinished, cuz the game is shit and I didn't care). Now if only they gave her a new outfit, a very fanservice-y one, then I'd even pay them for the first time since forever. No matter how much I hate Hoyo, they do deserve money with this one. I expected to love Clorinde, but I never thought I'd enjoy Arlecchino so much. Instant second-favorite in entire game.

@@fantasmacstrp9239 oh i have a whole year to save for Swaggitano, my team comps are already made for the abyss and he'll make a good addition if he can replace either Noelle, Navia or Arlecchino (i switch between Navia and Noelle depending on how many targets are on that specific floor)
Her first na, CA, and skill makes her gameplay feels zoomy. I feel like zooming all over the place while fighting against multiple enemies that are spread apart. I definitely agree with your takes on her CA, the fact you don't need to NA first to CA makes it feel really smooth with her. She just immediately dashes. Definitely my favorite part for playing Arlecchino, hence that I enjoy playing her a lot!
I'm just worried about the most recent patch notes mentioning an "Abnormal Increase" in her pyro infused damage buff, shes dealing amazing amounts of damage for a unit at C0 - all talents 6/6/6 and could be due to this damage bug, which could suck when they fix it next update.

I feel so behind on this despite doing all the content. My main teams are still from Sumeru. How are people able to farm abyss teams so quickly?

This was one of the best banners ever. Got C6 Xiangling, only had the basic version of her that you get for free from the abyss for 2 years. I managed to get Arlecchino at C2 and her weapon in about 300 wishes and that's with me losing 50/50 on her character twice and once on her weapon. She is the third character that I've ever won the 50-50 on and the second character that I got the personal weapon for.
I basically did the exact opposite of you when it comes to teams. My Alhaitham team has Baizhu back, and my Neuvillette is probably never coming off the bench because I finally have a DPS that does comparable damage while being 12000 times more fun.
Same I benched him because he's my least favourite character in game and was baited to summon for him back in 4.1

Yea..that's one thing i really enjoyed , in the overworld she can two tap enemies without any setup. Really good for farming
All her Pyro teams feel really good. Even double geo can work and she can get really comfy clears. At her best , with a stacked team she can output godly dps and delete everything in seconds.
Not getting her sig , since I really want clorinde. But next time for sure.
I absolutely love Arlecchino. She’s so damn fun! I don’t have her signature but I do have her c1 and I’m honestly glad that I got the c1. Extra interruption resistance and a 25% damage boost is better than 3 additional hits of BoL from her sig in my opinion. That’s just my 2 cents though. If you can afford both, then it’s even better though.
come on... everyone sleeps on yanfei. i did the triple kenki room in 17 seconds with her, and she is by FAR the comfiest OF THEM (pyros) ALL to use. yes even than arlechino. because:
1: she is ranged
2: Both her E and her burst do significant damage
3: Her charged attacks always vape / melt
4: she has a shield (that is pretty significant if you build around it, mine for instance uses a retracing bolide set to booster her shield)
5: her infusion is unconditionally infinite due to having the best type of weapon in the game.
poor yanfei is probably the most underrated character in this game. my second favorite dps (after noelle, which by the way i just killed the triple kenki in 14 seconds with her) and gets as much use as xinyan
I pulled for Arlecchino (bc I really liked her character), but Yanfei is my beloved and I stand besides you to support our lawyer!

Ive kept Arle at lvl1 talents 1 with top artifacts in a team of bennet, yelan, zhongli. And she demolishes everything by the abyss. Crazy powerful character
I got her C1 yesterday and now will set goals for her weapon for her rerun! shes the most enjoyful pyro dps ive played (pulled hutao on her 2nd rerun just because i needed a pyro dps and klee from her debut and none sticks to me unlike arlecchino's playstyle). tho now that hutao has xianyun, her in plunge vape is alot more enjoyful as well.
I am still trying to get her signature (Lyney's bow decided to make an appearance on the gold unfortunately) but man even with White Tassel she's a menace. Really a joy to play when compared to Hu Tao at least for me. Not having to worry about CA cancelling or accidently fat finger changing characters is fantastic (Skill issue from my part for sure but for me at least she feels nicer to play Hu Tao is also 10/10 skill issues aside though). The CA also helps a lot with exploration so i don't have to pull out furina for every body of water in my way. Overall a joy to play and a beast of a character.
I love this little racoon running . Also Arlechino is right now in my top 3 favoirite charactes.

Me too! First pyro DPS I've even liked to play, let alone loved! I went for her weapon too, which I don't usually do, for the exact same reasons. Very happy with my decision 😊

@@hglong_ far from it, I simply don't waste money on overpriced shit. I only do welkin because that's a fair price. Eula's weapon for the drip set my primo savings back on the chronicled wish (lost 50:50 D=).
I also don't gamble, I go for something when I have enough to guarantee it. Clorinde C1 is next =)

It actually takes fewer primos to guarantee the weapons there than in the actual weapon banner (198 for weapon banner vs 156 on chronicled wish, plus it's 50% to win what you want rather than 37,5%). Now if people are idiots and gamble their 1 guarantee yeah, the fate point goes away and they wasted the primos.
I was skeptical about Arle at first... Hoyo did not do her justice in explaining her kit. It sounded complicated and clunky. Thanks to the Community, I understand her a lot better, and I pulled for her. :)

cause i knew i wouldn't bench her anytime soon, also the only waifu i actually liked her design the most, coming from a husbando collector
due to her infusion practically lasting forever she also is making it easy to play quickswap teams with her in combat events

i feel you so hard on the "i finally have a pyro dps that i enjoy playing", arle is my first and only limited pyro dps because i always had some issue or another with the others. hutao and klee's animation canceling, lyney's ca playstyle, yoimiya's extremely single target playstyle... arle is the first one i actually find fun to play, and i actually like her bol no healing gimmick because you can play her very safely with a shielder or choose more risky teams. and even without a shielder her elemental res passive actually puts in good work and her burst heals a lot and is a great panic button, honestly she feels more tanky than my childe in international lol. overall great chara and the strong generalist pyro dps that i think a lot of people were looking for.
I watched the entire video about how you like capuccino but the only thing I could think was how you still didn't change her glider
I got really lucky and got her C1, i'm amazed when i saw 200-240k vaporize hits, she hits like a truck, the 3 Maguu Kenkis in the abyss? dead to a single rotation, she's that strong, now i'm debating completing Sumeru maps to go for either C1 or R1.
I would like to mention gaming he's very solid at C6 for a 4 star on fielder I swapped to him from hu tao mainly for getting tired of doing jump cancel all the time now it's only spam E as soon as possible once you get CD reset also plunge is fun
I did abyss with him on the second side with yelan xq bennett gaming and for the first side neuvi furina kokomi kazuha is was super easy

Yes gaming is much more fun to me to play than this character. Even Raiden is. Keqing is, most are really. She's just an auto attacker really. Not even a fun one like wanderer
I had pretty much zero primogems, but was reasonably close to pity so I farmed for a while looking to get to the 50 / 50. Basically I have reached the point in Genshin where I don't really need new characters anymore, so I only pull who I really want. Sadly I lost the 50 50 but seeing as I can comfortably skip 2.7 and 2.8 will probably not have any new characters anyway, I can safe up for her eventual rerun. Or one of the Natlan characters, we'll see. Maybe I can even safe enough to get her weapon, because I am one of those people who pull for signatures because I like how they look with their characters. Or at least I started pulling for signatures recently when I started skipping more and more characters / reruns.
I can't wait for Mihoyo to release the Grand version of the Traveller by the end of the game. Genshin needs something like the Fatalis armor in Iceborne where you simply need 1 character to demolish everything in the game
Everything about her is so fucking cool, love her tragic backstory but also the mysteries still surrounding her.

Hu Tau with Xianyun is indeed actually fun and her most powerful team. It adds another dimension to her combat. The team of Homa Hu Tau, Favonius Xianyun, Elegy Yelan, and Festering Desire Furina is currently my most powerful boss killer team. Even surpassing my Neuvillette team in single target.
@@AzureDrag0n1 not only that it also remove the need for C1 Hu Tao so you can just pull for weapon or Xianyun cons instead. I lose 50/50 when pulling on hu Tao twice and after that I gave up but I would love to play her with Xianyun if I have her.
For me since fontaine came out I have made a vow to pull for 3 specific character no matter the cost and now with Arlecchino I only have 1 charactet left being Clorinde and the other having been Furina.
I’ve been having fun with her, Chev, Fischl & Beidou.
I agree with everything in this video and I feel like it isn't talked about enough. I was never an Arlecchino simp but when I saw her gameplay and kit reveal I immediately knew that she was going to be my new favorite character to play as.
Like;
- Infinite pyro infusion that doesn't disappear when swapping to another character?
- Isn't burst reliant and can be very flexible with team rotations and wave based content?
- Insane dmg numbers even when not yet fully built?
- Able to close the distance on enemies with her charge atk?
- Good amount of AoE on the last three normal attacks in her combo string?
- Mostly silent idles?
- Pyro dps, which when played in a vape team, can comfortably deal with 99% of the enemies in the overworld?
Yea getting her and her signature was a no brainer to me.
Fun fact, my account has one priority over anything : get every 5* limited pyro character with their signature weapon, and I never got bored of playing any of them. So far I'm keeping my promise and I really enjoy seeing their power increase so much. Btw I'm still shocked by the damage of my Lyney (unleashing 3 aoe nukes of 150k-300k dmg in less than a second feels unreal), and I'm looking forward to my Arlecchino dmg
Im at like 55 pity finishing all story quests and grinding whatever exploration i can just to get her
Lost my 5050 on Arlecchino to Dehya then rolled C1 on standard. Honestly not to bummed about it because I have wanted Dehya for a long time. And now I have a guarenteed Clorinde so long as Faruzan isn't on the phase 2 banners.

as for me I'm team Father all the way, got her at C1 and considering getting a c2 on her rerun but honestly even at c0 she is already powerful and C1 just make her broken, C2 will really turn her into top tier monster but honestly, do we really need a 15 second abyss clear? So yea I will probably save for either C2 Furina or nahida instead lol
some say shes stronger than 4th, makes sense as 4 in japan and china is the "death number" think of 13 in america. the 4th task for the web event for HSR is IMPOSSIBLE i clicked EVERYWHERE i have ZERO clue how to "replay a memory using the projector"!

The dash for the charged attack, is really under rated..
I find myself with Wrio or Raiden, always missing targets, because their attack is very short range, so you have to run under the enemies nose to hit them.
I didn't pull for arlecchino but i love characters that automatically go under the enemies with a rush, it just make sense.. All dps shoe have this except some catalyst of course. (and not even all, since heizou and wrio benefit from dash in too.)
Overload is good whe u either use yoimiya or i have an big single tsrget enemie thst does not get knoked around from it

0:23 Almost 1:1 me. In my case Qiqi came at 78 pity. And after that Arlecchino came at 75 pity.
Didn't really care about her either but tbh I thought: I have all Archons and pre Arlecchino all Harbingers. sooo why not... And her gameplay looked fun. Now my C0 Arlecchino with R3 Jade does slap really hard. Have a lot of fun with her. Now I have two fun on field Pyro carries. Klee and Arlecchino.
As someone who only really pulls cryo characters. I caved and Arle cause this abyss & to finally have a main counter to cryo enemies. I like how she not burst reliant, so no time wasted on burst animations. My favorite teams so far is arle, Yelan, diona and Mona/beidou or arle, Shenhe/rosaria, Lynette/kazuha and diona.

what you said about Arlecchino being the first Pyro dps that you enjoy playing hits really close home because that's exactly how I feel about her. The only Pyro dps, and actually the only Pyro 5 star that I've had for years was Hu Tao, and I absolutely do not enjoy playing her. Never did, never will. It's janky and just feels like ass. I've been meaning to get another Pyro 5 star, specially a dps, for a long time. I've pulled Hu Tao back in Inazuma. I thought Dehya was going to be the one before she came out... until THAT happened, lol. Lyney was also out of question because if there's a character that I hate playing more than Hu Tao, it's Ganyu. Yoimiya was the most interesting option, but she always ran just after or before (or both at the same time) a character that I wanted more. Arlecchino came and I couldn't be happier. She is in my opinion by far and wide the coolest, most stylish character in the game, she is really powerful and she is really fun. I'm totally in love!

I took a few month break from genshin, but seeing arlecchino demolish everything makes me wanna play again and pull for her (also cuz she can make use of Cyno's spear that's currently collecting dust.)

I find the hype for her funny, because I took one very quick glance at the drip marketing and said, "Yeah, I'm still skipping so I can save for Furina's rerun to get her weapon" then 4.6 livestream happened, and I saw her gameplay and thought maybe a few pulls would be fine, then I saw the scythe, and went, "change of plans." I sadly do not have her weapon, but I did get her, freemogems saved for like 3 months worth spent (she literally took all I had.)

I lost my 50/50 to jean at soft pity. I then got Arle's weapon and I am currently at 49 pity. I was able to get roughly 20 wishes last weekend and 15 ish on wendsday plus the shop reset, so hopefully I can bring Arlecchino home soon 😊

I was going to skip arle for Chlorinde but did her story quest and pulled for her immediately after. I was so glad I did when I started playing her. Most fun character I’ve played so far!
I’m still going to skip her sig so I can get Chlorinde. And then maybe get her sig on her rerun. But honestly I think death match looks pretty good on arle and it’s hard to even see the weapon in all the flashy animations so I’m not super upset about missing out on it.
I will say, some bugs have been spotted, try fighting dvalin as arlechinno
