    On this week's video, we go to Chipinge!! Chipinge is not your typical tourist destination, however there is so much to explore! We visit the Big Tree in Chirinda forest, Birchenough bridge and Zona tea estates.

    Loved seeing this. Grew up at a tea estate and learnt at Mt Selinda High school. I feel Chipinge is under appreciated. Thank you for showing this beauty ❤

    If you go the rainforest in Uganda, trees this size are fairly common. I suspect our forests were once far larger and more widespread. There was probably a lot of logging during the colonial era

      Chipinge is actually quite a nice and safe place to stay. You really should go for it! I grew up there and learnt there as well.

      yes there are few places decent plays to stay at. There is Chipinge Breezers, Chirinda Forest chalets, will advice more places

      There is accommodation within Mt Selinda forest. There is a campsite and chalets there. The tour guides like mkoma Eddie will be able to assist. They are normally stationed at the entrance to go to The Big Tree.
