The woman he points the finger at claims she’s completely innocent and must travel a long road to prove it. When she finally gets her day in court - a decision is handed down that has far-reaching implications.

Two minutes in. 'Dave' is explaining how he values safety. Yet his hunting partner has no orange vest on. That's not safe. You don't want to blend into the environment so much that another hunter can't see you. Recreational hunting is stupid. They say they love nature. Yet they stomp all over it and kill what's in it. Doesn't make sense.

    • @TheBasedCanadian

Recreational hunting is stupid? Been to the grocery store recently? If you can afford that then you must be privileged. And I'm a liberal who has never hunted or touched a gun in my life but I don't judge people who do. I also eat meat

So you are against hunting, I understand;however, humans have been hunting and fishing for centuries, as far as the land goes, developers need to take some responsibility for their contribution to nature-destroying activities.
It does not seem that safety was a priority; however, safety is the responsibility of each individual.

As a police officer, I not only looked for evidence of guilt, I also looked for evidence that might exonerate the accused. I never wanted to convict an innocent person nor did I want to look like a jackass in court.
The new breed of cop seems to only look at evidence of guilt, pile on as many charges as they can and hope for a guilty plea from an overwhelmed and financially strapped accused. It is not guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, it is guilt beyond an ability to defend oneself.

It's those who have demons that kill those with the light! That's why you almost always hear the murdered victim described as the kind of person that would do anything for anyone in need, or they lit up the room when they entered. Truly they are the light in this world. Those envoloped in darkness cannot STAND the light! They become unhinged the millisecond the opportunity presents itself. And you often never suspect these people because they play the part so well and fit back into society so seamlessly! They've perfected their craft! They do what they love. Not all cops, but more and more these days!! Not just here in Canada, but everyhwere you find people, you will find these opportunists!! It's scary to know they're in our law enforcement agencies and justice systems. Masquerading as police. Which is why so many women are missing or murdered. Because they trusted an officer while in a vulnerable situation and they paid with their lives...

The real injustice is this women getting to narrate her version of the story, there's a reason she's estranged from Brant's family and it's just appalling that no one in Brant's family gets to talk about it in this "documentary". She got 8million from the court case, and is now getting money from this show. One-sided storytelling and motivated by money rather than proper truth seeking journalism. I am so sorry for the Burke family, the continued injustice towards indigenous peoples is heartbreaking.
