Click Here To Buy the Scanner Used In My Video amzn.to/319tvGd It works for all makes and models of cars and all years with 2 years free updates for all new cars.
The last handheld scanner you recommended was crap. It reported I had no faults witch was false because I have Carly and when I tried to perform resets it didn't work.
Hey mate, thanks for the great review . I purchased this model a couple of years ago just for use at home. I recently purchased a E53 X5 with the 4.4 litre V8 and when I put the scan tool on it and at first it recognised what my X5 was but when I started doing the scan it came up saying that it was scanning a diesel ecu like yours here when you stared the scan. Is this a normal thing? The X5 runs and drives fine so I’m confused about that. Mines a 2001 model so does that mean that I need to get another cord for under the bonnet and where’s the plug hiding under the bonnet? Cheers mate
The lack of activation of components is a show stopper for a independent workshop etc. However at least BMW owners can get INPA etc. for the cases it's needed.
Hi Fella , I've got the Autel maxicom 808 Pro, will this unit put my service history on the idrive screen for my reference on service history. Not fussed about bmw online Cheers
If I'm just trying to use this for one car of a certain year, is there any need to pay for yearly updates in practical terms? I don't mind paying a bit more for a quality tool that will ACCURATELY pinpoint things with full code etc, but I don't really like the idea of paying ongoing high priced updates etc...I'm not running a business here, it's just DIY personal use. I don't see the point of wasting 200-300 bucks on something that will not narrow problems as much as possible when I can pay a bit more and get that accuracy. It's just the updating that is holding me back. I have a 2024 Jaguar F-Type R that I want to be able to have good visibility on for troubleshooting. Would I have the full codes for this car as well with this product? Thanks. Great video dude...
Question: Do I have to buy the newest one each time they come out with one? Or can I keep using my old one? Can they be updated? Mine is about 5yrs old
Will this scanner be able to reset all service menus under bmw.. Ie. Brake fluid.. Vehicle check.. Front brake... Rear brake.. Etc.? Or only the engine oil.
Maybe u can answer this.not commercial trucks but daily driver regular trucks to be clear.my question is can this be used on small to 1 ton trucks also? Besides just cars
Hello great vid. Do you thing this scan can acces to the BMW FRM Module? I have one halo fault in my bmw e90 325i bulbs are ok and someone told me that the FRM module needs a reset. Seem that it is in short circuit mode to prevent any damage. Thanks for your help
Looks good and is useful thank you for the information, can you please do a vid on the £2500 unit as well please, really would like to see what it is and what is does.
bro can you help me, with my e39 cluster it read 10km/h off and its really annoying you know how to fix it to make it accurate? and do i need to reprogram it every time i change my wheels? to bigger or smaller rims
it’s all about rolling diameter. if you change wheel and tire size it’s gonna throw it off. If you go up in wheel size u gotta lower the tire height. So if u had a 225/40r18 wheel and tire and go with 19 inch wheel uou would get a 235/35r19. The width doesn’t matter it’s the height of the tire
I have the MaxiCom mk808 mine uses the cord but the only the it cant do is coding & programming, but i have several tools where my maxicom mk808 can't do but it works and get the job done.....
i brought one off ebay and it stopped working and oddly so did the seller. who it turns out, is based in china so youm have no come back with any one. good scanner though.
So it’s been a year since this vid; what’s your take on it today..? UPDATE: Service doesn’t cover all cars (especially popular cars). For most cars, you’re lucky if this MK gives you 2 or 3 useable functions. Very misleading. I say save a lil more $ and get the Ms906 or the Launch 430.
I own this scan tool as well I have a couple of complaints about it one is you can't get a screen protector you have to make one for yourself second you cannot watch TH-cam videos where you can watch them but you cannot hear them there is no speakers so I'm currently going to upgrade to the 906 so that I can do more in-depth programming this is a great tool however for advanced uses I need full by directionality and to be able to write to the ECM
I was about to send my mucar v06 back and buy one of these until you said it doesn’t code or programme. So it’s actually no better than the 270 quid. Mucar full system scanner. I would never pay £600 for a scanner that doesn’t code or program and if I was strictly bmw I’d just use bimmercode 🤷🏻
Thanks bruda 🙏 Can’t answer everyone so it helps me if others can too many comments my friend and too many people you can’t answer them all I do have a life. Thanks for taking the time out to help others

FIRST TO COMMENT
can it be used to do odometer correction?
NO because of that is ilegal.
@@hernanbadillaquiros9675 it’s not illegal if you’re a garage owner. Or a mobile mileage corrector.
