I used some mods to up the damage and general difficulty not just in combat but in The world in general with the enemies of night city and so decided to also use cyberware ex for double slots and simple menu to give myself wnough points to spect into all gun types and both blunt and blades as well as cyberware.
Honestly its real fun to be a master of any normal weapon with augmented strength and reflexes with i also have decided to use the compensater u did and thw berserkwr with gorilla arms and a launcher as well as a blood pump, heal on kill, bio monitor, and second heart as well as maxing out my armor to have that unkillable vibe and take as much advantage of my cyberware specialization as my tech specialization 😁👍

I actually reworked this build into my own Johnny Silverhand build. The goal was to make gameplay with the Malorian Arms feel exactly like in those flashback missions with him. I mainly removed the Adreno Trigger with the synaptic accelerator and swapped out to the oracle optics. Everything else i've kept the same. The result was me exploding people's heads in one shot just like in those missions
That's the same gun and style I play mine. Those quick draw headshots will never not entertainin me. Would be nice if they added duel wield for double the good stuff haha
The headhunter knife gives the headshot bonus to enemies you mark by throwing the knife at them. It's certainly very good but you do have to actively use it, its not a passive effect.
Facts, this is the stuff I like to see! The Liberty pistol layout seems more like John Wick's style for sure, but yeah Malorian is just busted when upgraded fully

You're right, yes. If you want a knife for oneshots from stealth a non iconic with the mod that gives 100% crit chance and 50% crit damage while undetected is probably the best option.
@@svahn1 it's a bit crazy, but non iconic knives are the best min-maxing knives for most purposes in cyberpunk. there're two general purposes you can us a knife for: ranged continuous dps, and stealth oneshot. for oneshot, the highest headshot damage multiplier on any knives is on the generic one they simply call "knife". 200% headshot damage multiplier, while all other knives, including iconics, are at only 150%. for dps throw spam, the lowest cd you can get is from a tier 5 generic "punknife". with all perks on top, it goes down to 1.4s throw cd, which means by the time your throw animation is complete, you already got it back. lowest recovery among iconic knives is "stinger" which has the same stats as the "knife", and it's a 2.8s throw cd with perks. so it's cutting in half your overall throw dps. once the iconics are just "not the best" for any of those two, all their iconic effects are purely anecdotal. their main value is that they are upgradable, which make it easier to get a tier5++ variant than non upgradable non iconic weapons for the endgame... for a total rundown of throwable iconic, they are not bad, just not great, nothing iconic worthy: -nehan. locks two weapon slots to use a super specific effect that give a slight heal. cool on paper, but won't be usable against trash enemies, and won't make a difference against bosses. -stinger. need to hit at least twice to make any use of the effect (once to apply guaranteed poison from perks, once to apply guaranteed bleeding from iconic), by that time, you have thrown 3 punknives, dealing way more than the slight extra damage from the bleed... it was a bit better before 2.0 because all knives attack guaranteed poison, so you could fast melee hit twice and let people die from poison+bleed. -fang. the one and only melee based knife and it's effect requires throwing. throw at an enemie, walk up into that ennemie to recover your knife, enjoy the 2-3 buffed melee attacks before it's dead. just cripple application in itself can be great if you have no other way to deal with sandi/kerezikov enemies. -headhunter. gives some extra viability to non stealthy handgun. it synergies with any weapon style that relies on hitting the head, handgun can work okay with it because of the fast swapping. up to you to see if it brings enough damage for the time it takes to throw and swap... -bluefang. by the time it would stun on body hits (3s), your target would be dead with another knife. doesn't make a big difference for head hits since knives perks apply blinding anyways (redundant crowdcontrol). a solid case can be made for stealth, because the instant stun can greatly delay detection if you have no way to oneshot. -agaou. probably the best, and yet... easy to reach high crit chances on throwables with stabber+handle wrap cyberwares (even easy to reach 100% crit by endgame), to guarantee the iconic effect proc. it gives very decent aoe damage to deal with any group of packed enemies. with the vulnerability relic perk, it can even oneshot groups of weak enemies in a single proc of both aoe.
Johns main weapon was pistols he used shotguns and assault rifles to start out when he was being hunted but his prefered in the past was many many pistols

At around 11:50, you say we don't need Dorph-Head because we won't use the Blood Pump cyberware. But the perk does say it activates for Blood Pump cyberware or Health Item. I don't think it should be necessary with your builds though, unless maybe at the highest difficulty, so it's really to nitpick here. Overwall, a really nicely detailed guide, and definitely some fun template for builds to try, thanks!
I would like to add in the build the iconic rosco revolver which (i think) fit well to John wick and his way to shoot on legs before finishing the job with a headshot.
Her majesty is a reference to the Bond movie "On her majesties secret service" in which Bond has a Walther PPK with the silencer, that the gun in cyberpunk comes with. The movie is typically associated to be one of the best bond movies.
It looks great, now that I have started the new game and will use this build. The first was netrunner + SW, it was so powerful, that was boring at the end.
I would love a live action cyberpunk 2077 movie or a tv show for the main game and then season 2 would be phantom liberty and a movie to compete the series would so dope

In 2.0 Shotguns lost all their damage. Used to use Headsman which after legendary grade I used to get over 2000 damage... The Headsman shotgun used to be my go to weapon!
Shotguns are still great, easily the best weapon type in the game for aggressive builds. Showed off plenty of gameplay with this build, David Martinez and Rebecca builds on the channel. Also note Headsman is a slug shotgun, not a pellet, so it's meant for precision
After 2.0 Guts is best for hip firing, also enemies who use Sandi dodge are less likely to dodge cuz they react to your aim. Bloody Maria is the best aim down scope shot gun. Silly numbers. Headsmen got butchered after 2.0. The multipliers just ain't there.

Rosco is so cool tbh, too bad it doesnt work on boss enemies like maxtacs, it only staggers them a little when the knockdown procs, but not knocking them down on the floor completely like it does to normal mobs
How do you have enough perk points for everything?? The stealth perks take up like half my points! How am I supposed to finish tech, body and reflexes, I’m confused!!

I haven’t played since 1.5 but it looks like you could kind of play both builds at the same time by switching between different guns and cyberware and some perk points whenever you want. Am I understanding that right??
I'm using Tech Weapons build (full Tech, full Cool, few Body& Reflection) and want to replace the izzy pistol with Johnny I already invested on Cool perks that enhance the pistol/revolver now here the question now is, I can use power weapons with no worry right? or do I need specific setup to use the power weapon such as Johnny pistol?
For pistols, revolvers, precision and sniper rifles you'll be good since they're all power weapons! Only difference is the Legend Perks at the top, the one on the left is specifically for Revolvers, Precision and Sniper rifles and the one on the right is for Pistols only
Honestly any power weapon that fits into the weapon category you want when focusing the attributes and skills would work. What build would you suggest for AR and handgun with some moderate hacking. I like to use stealth as it permits but I’m enjoying the gun play a lot. I basically want to be able to hack isolated targets and mix it up when it’s time to if that makes sense.
You could use the Stealth Version of this build and replace the Chrome Compressor with a Cyberdeck, but you'll need to take off some other high capacity pieces of Cyberware!
INT, Cool, and Reflexes are going to be your main stats. For quick hacks ur gonna want cyberware malfuction, short circuit, ping, contagion, cripple movement and reboot optics. What u want for cyberware will largely depend on how you want to play moment to moment. I'd recommend any cyberware that gives u a ram boost, and armor cyberware because this build is fragile lmaooooooo.
You could probably take away 5 from Tech to not go Cyberpsycho and either 5 from Reflexes or Cool depending what weapons you're using for your playstyle
If you're on easy or normal difficulty you can do Tech, if you're on hard or very hard may need to get tech to 9 and then body to 15 for adrenaline rush
blerg... the NUE+ got 109 damage and has great stat in everything, plus it can get up to 2 mod slots, Kongu only has 72 damage. Except for the Queen which u have to finish the DLC to get, NUE+ is free and can blast through anything.
Sure, if you have the extra perk points you can also spec into tech weapon perks under Tech for some bonuses! Just figured canonically the power weapons fit better. Some Tech Iconics I like are the Lizzie Pistol, Breakthrough and Rasetsu Snipers
3:00 tf you mean very weak before 2.0? The Malorian Arms 3516 got massive nerfs from the ricochet multiplier gone completely to its wall penetration ability being removed entirely to its melee attack costing 10 ammo instead of 1. Now it's an iconic weapon that has pretty good stats but lacks an iconic ability and you can't even modify it. I used to use the weapon always as my primary despite mantis arms and Sandevistan being more broken (In update 1.6, here too I believe, it depends) but after the nerfs I dont touch it. There's way better end game alternatives especially after obtaining the iconic pistol mod. Imo at the minimum it should be modifyable in a future update
I ain't reading all that, but if that's your only goal was to complain then don't use the pistol. The pistol is still very good damage wise. This is a build video that mentions multiple weapon options to use, so I'm not sure what you're upset about but I know it's not at me pal.

Delusional take. Cyberpunk has been great since 1.6 and when 2.0 dropped with Phantom Liberty is has become a fantastic game. Story for both the main game and DLC are insanely good, the 2.0 system and other changes make the game a lot more user friendly with keeping in-depth mechanics, and the game is adding stuff with every patch and update. I understand not wanting to use the build because of how it plays, but saying it's bad is crazy considering all of the build options on top of modding.

I would, but there's honestly so many videos out singular missions, gigs, etc. I'd have to start a whole new playthrough as well to get footage for each mission as well, but might come out with a guide on what beginners should look out for

just so you guys now, High noon perk in the pistol tree is currently bugged and interrupts the sandevistan when its active - basicly it turns of the slo mo, as if you used all the sandi and you have a full cool down all of the sudden. the perk is a reloading perk, so it happens when you have sandi active and when you reload after crit
Any tips to make it work early game, like wich ones to max at low level, and wich ones to get later ? Anywho great vid, got many ideas for other builds 👍
Depends on weapons really. Focus Cool for knives and pistols, Reflex for ARs and SMGs, Body for Shotguns, always level up Tech when you can. I would say look either stick with some basic netrunning or sandevistan early on since you can't get the Chrome Compressor til Phantom Liberty
I would also add Pride, which is the best pistol in the game. Guaranteed crit on first round. There's also 250% more damage while health is above 75 %. It also increases Crit Damage by 100%, and damage against Elite enemies (the enemies with skulls) by 10%.
@@itsdavetvYT You in fact can keep it. They give it to you, along with the assault rifle Pride (and the shovel) has a reward for that ending after the credits when you go back. I'm using it during phantom liberty and it makes the game a bit too easy imo.

I think having a solid start with Tech and Cool, then moving over to Body and Reflexes. Body to at least 4 for the health regen benefits

The Seraph pistol works perfectly fine in a silenced build.
I used that pistol for 75% of the game
If you want to use it go for it, but the damage is spread out from the explosive so it doesn't do as much precision damage vs. other pistols

I believe that’s a Rosco Iconic Revolver, but yeah it’s not a bad option
Rosco is so cool tbh, too bad it doesnt work on boss enemies like maxtacs, it only staggers them a little when the knockdown procs, but not knocking them down on the floor completely like it does to normal mobs
How do you have enough perk points for everything?? The stealth perks take up like half my points! How am I supposed to finish tech, body and reflexes, I’m confused!!
Maxing out skill levels give a few points and enemies can drop perk point chips
You can also buy a limited amount of perk chips in dog town

How did you get your cyberware capacity so high? I’m level 53 and my capacity is only around 250 something, even with the edgerunner perk.
The Chrome Compressor gives a big bump in cyberware capacity!

I’m having some difficulty finding the cyberware. Is that because most of it is within the DLC?
Some of the Iconics are DLC only yes, like the Chrome Compressor

I haven’t played since 1.5 but it looks like you could kind of play both builds at the same time by switching between different guns and cyberware and some perk points whenever you want. Am I understanding that right??
You totally can! Build-crafting is honestly an art now and it's super fun to play around with all the options available now
I'm using Tech Weapons build (full Tech, full Cool, few Body& Reflection) and want to replace the izzy pistol with Johnny I already invested on Cool perks that enhance the pistol/revolver now here the question now is, I can use power weapons with no worry right? or do I need specific setup to use the power weapon such as Johnny pistol?
For pistols, revolvers, precision and sniper rifles you'll be good since they're all power weapons! Only difference is the Legend Perks at the top, the one on the left is specifically for Revolvers, Precision and Sniper rifles and the one on the right is for Pistols only

Honestly any power weapon that fits into the weapon category you want when focusing the attributes and skills would work. What build would you suggest for AR and handgun with some moderate hacking. I like to use stealth as it permits but I’m enjoying the gun play a lot. I basically want to be able to hack isolated targets and mix it up when it’s time to if that makes sense.
You could use the Stealth Version of this build and replace the Chrome Compressor with a Cyberdeck, but you'll need to take off some other high capacity pieces of Cyberware!
INT, Cool, and Reflexes are going to be your main stats. For quick hacks ur gonna want cyberware malfuction, short circuit, ping, contagion, cripple movement and reboot optics. What u want for cyberware will largely depend on how you want to play moment to moment. I'd recommend any cyberware that gives u a ram boost, and armor cyberware because this build is fragile lmaooooooo.

You could probably take away 5 from Tech to not go Cyberpsycho and either 5 from Reflexes or Cool depending what weapons you're using for your playstyle

If you're on easy or normal difficulty you can do Tech, if you're on hard or very hard may need to get tech to 9 and then body to 15 for adrenaline rush

blerg... the NUE+ got 109 damage and has great stat in everything, plus it can get up to 2 mod slots, Kongu only has 72 damage. Except for the Queen which u have to finish the DLC to get, NUE+ is free and can blast through anything.

Sure, if you have the extra perk points you can also spec into tech weapon perks under Tech for some bonuses! Just figured canonically the power weapons fit better. Some Tech Iconics I like are the Lizzie Pistol, Breakthrough and Rasetsu Snipers
What should my starting stats be, like max out coolness or something?
Between Cool and Tech for sure, but Body to at least 4 for the base health regen benefits and you can steadily upgrade Reflexes!

3:00 tf you mean very weak before 2.0? The Malorian Arms 3516 got massive nerfs from the ricochet multiplier gone completely to its wall penetration ability being removed entirely to its melee attack costing 10 ammo instead of 1. Now it's an iconic weapon that has pretty good stats but lacks an iconic ability and you can't even modify it. I used to use the weapon always as my primary despite mantis arms and Sandevistan being more broken (In update 1.6, here too I believe, it depends) but after the nerfs I dont touch it. There's way better end game alternatives especially after obtaining the iconic pistol mod. Imo at the minimum it should be modifyable in a future update
I ain't reading all that, but if that's your only goal was to complain then don't use the pistol. The pistol is still very good damage wise. This is a build video that mentions multiple weapon options to use, so I'm not sure what you're upset about but I know it's not at me pal.

How do you have so much perk points? Im max lvl and i can't put all those points like you showed here ;_;
You can pick up Perk Shards off of enemies and sometimes the Dogtown air drops have a Perk Shard. Max perk points you can get is 80 though I believe

Delusional take. Cyberpunk has been great since 1.6 and when 2.0 dropped with Phantom Liberty is has become a fantastic game. Story for both the main game and DLC are insanely good, the 2.0 system and other changes make the game a lot more user friendly with keeping in-depth mechanics, and the game is adding stuff with every patch and update.
I understand not wanting to use the build because of how it plays, but saying it's bad is crazy considering all of the build options on top of modding.

I would, but there's honestly so many videos out singular missions, gigs, etc. I'd have to start a whole new playthrough as well to get footage for each mission as well, but might come out with a guide on what beginners should look out for

just so you guys now, High noon perk in the pistol tree is currently bugged and interrupts the sandevistan when its active - basicly it turns of the slo mo, as if you used all the sandi and you have a full cool down all of the sudden. the perk is a reloading perk, so it happens when you have sandi active and when you reload after crit

Depends on weapons really. Focus Cool for knives and pistols, Reflex for ARs and SMGs, Body for Shotguns, always level up Tech when you can. I would say look either stick with some basic netrunning or sandevistan early on since you can't get the Chrome Compressor til Phantom Liberty

I would also add Pride, which is the best pistol in the game.
Guaranteed crit on first round. There's also 250% more damage while health is above 75 %. It also increases Crit Damage by 100%, and damage against Elite enemies (the enemies with skulls) by 10%.
FACTS, ngl I had it but after 2.0 with the change of removing “One More Gig” after the ending credits I don’t think you can keep it permanently
@@itsdavetvYT You in fact can keep it. They give it to you, along with the assault rifle Pride (and the shovel) has a reward for that ending after the credits when you go back.
I'm using it during phantom liberty and it makes the game a bit too easy imo.
