One important factor about Morgan Blackhand: He was THE Solo and Adam Smasher was jealous of him. Smasher tried to fight him but Morgan declined him every time which only pissed off Adam. The one time they were ever going to really square off was on top of Arasaka Towers. But right before they clashed, Johnny's nuke went off. And it's more or less said he survived and is still out there. He may not have a lot of cyberware, but he was built different.

Also Alt was never truly captured she struck a deal with Arasaka and during the last moment Johnny screwed her plan up that would leave Arasaka open for attack and basically damned her, so yeah Johnny isn't a good guy and he is definitely not as much of a legend as he thinks he is.
If I remember correctly, Morgan Blackhand was Mike Pondsmith's "signature character" for his campaign in his RPG. If you consider Pondsmith put a great deal of though into what Cyberpsychosis represents (aside from a limiting mechanic), a condition akin to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder combined with a technologically induced disassociation, it makes sense that Blackhand and (somewhat ironically) Smasher wouldn't be psychos due to the extreme sense of identity, or "Will" each had combined with both characters doing what must be done to reduce the stress of linking tech to the nervous system and mind. Smasher took the easier path of working for Arasaka. Becoming an asset they would only replace if the level of liability and cost ever outweighed his utility. Morgan took the harder path of developing and maintaining both an ethos and mental/physical regime to maintain his sense of identity.

@@OniNoFroJust to clarify, Blackhand worked extensively for Militech, and was a prior service (Marines I think but could have been Army) NCO. He was their top guy in the field. He just didn't waste people when he didn't have to and his military career was far better adjusted than Smasher's. I bring this up because the duel between Smasher and Blackhand extends to Arasaka and Militech. Pondsmith gives a lot of positive lore to "Old America" and the military in particular, and Militech carries some of that with it. Home of the Brave in particular says that in the Collapse of '94 the military was mostly just American citizens trying to stem the tide of collapse who unfortunately failed, and it's still ultimately the military who stops the Gang of Four and helps a shattered America start limping forward again. Donald Lundee goes on to found Militech with his Italian weaponsmith Argassi working for him and starts acting as a proxy for US interests where it can't otherwise go. Arasaka by contrast represents a foreign, encroaching presence that is ruthless. I think the battle of ethos is also one of who was a turncoat and who wasn't: Smasher was an American who sided with the system and outside forces tearing down America, Blackhand was a tarnished Patriot who made the best of a bad situation and ultimately sided with his own countrymen/"tribe" as it were (the people trying to re-unify and re-impose a kind of order in America). An aside, the Neo-Tribes (Nomads) are written in much the same way. My point being, it isn't just a battle of ethos happening here but a battle over loyalty to one's people.

After like 2 years I'm thinking of playing the game again. The new skill tree overwhelmed me a bit, making it currently hard for my brain to find a way to build a character that's fun. One of the things I thought of was a similiar build with one attribute at 20, all others at around 15, mostly because I just want to change up my playstyle here and there depending on my mood. At first I was thinking about 20 intelligence and everything else 15, but I quickly realized that I won't have enough skill points to grab all the skills I'd like because the int tree eats all my skill points :D IBut now I think I'll run with your build :) Not sure if tech will be my 20-attribute though, after what I have seen I'm not a fan of the edgerunner ability due to the cyberpsychosis in the audio. But everything else I'll copy&paste now. Thanks man! You just broke my endless character creation / deletion / repeat cycle. I was stuck in it for days now because I just couldn't decide how to work with the new perk system :D
It's a nice build. In old roll books explains Morgan became a Legend by doing the job taking the target alive and no collateral damages. Plus besides his cyber hand and Sandersvasn, he did't use cyberware!!!. A complete opposite to Adam Smasher
Thank you for this fantastic build of a fantastic character. I hope you make a build of James Norris based on the first scenes in the first episode of the anime. I think James Norris is an iconic character due to his combat experience as a professional soldier who fought in previous wars.
Blackhand might be the only person in the history of night city that might be as strong though probably stronger than a fully decked out V. Also, if you're using modding you can use the Extra Iconics mod from the Nexus to use the High Doom revolver which is a revolver that has explosive bullets that knocks down enemies while hipfiring and gains smart targeting as well as revolver fanning while aiming. Might be cool to replace his heavy smart handgun with. I'm using it right now in a modded playthrough alongside Byakko and it's SO much fun to use.

I like how Cyberware is setup, but the big thing is cosmetic customization! There are so many cool outfits and clothing items, especially in regards to modding the game. Having a way to really tweak our outfits would be great imo
first thought for all the grenade launchers was the exploding power precision rifle you get from one of reginas gigs - cant remember which. but its so massive and since it explodes it really does just feel like a grenade launcher
I would like to point out that a "smart" weapon in 2020s and a Smart weapon in 2077 are two, entirely different things. The former were basically Power weapons packed with advanced (for their day) electronics that improved handling when working in tandem with user's chrome. The latter shoot homing bullets. Hell, I think someone like Blackhand would probably avoid using '77s Smart weapons - they strike me as a bit too close to chipped skills, which Morgan admitted weren't BAD per se, but he considered genuine skill to be superior.
@dominikinglot4312 thanks man, I also figured out it's from the "doomlauncher" perk in the tech ability skill tree assuming you can have both perks active at the same time
Hey, choom. Thanks for an amazing video. My only problem with the build is that I don't have Phantom Liberty (This means no Chitin for me). What could you suggest instead of it?
I get that this is a themed build and that the choice of cyberware is thematic, but hot take incoming: I think stacking armour is overrated, and not as good an option as most believe it to be in terms of bolstering defence. It doesn't help you with damage over time, and even with max armour, there are moments where you are vulnerable if enemies are using weapons that have armour penetration, and can still one-shot you. But if you get Kerenzikov and Defenzikov, you can get +90% mitigation chance with a cyberware that has a very short cooldown. Add the Neofiber which you already have, that's 100% mitigation chance, with 60% mitigation strength (although you can make it 80% total by adding Spring Joints) and you would have 100% uptime on mitigation because of the very short cooldown, plus the fact that you are always using ranged weapons in this build. And mitigation works against everything, including damage over time and armour penetration, yet many players sleep on it.
I think mitigation caps out and you can't get full 100% but yeah mitigation is very strong. I don't think it's a hot take tho most build vids I've sewn say that high armor isn't as good as you might think
@@itsdavetvYT thanks for the reply buddy! seems like i have to get rid off one of the attribute skill tree, i can only have 1x 20 and 3x 15.. ending in 20 Tech, 15 Body, 15 Int and the choice between 15 reflexes OR 15 cool. Which one would you prioritize?
Not by CP2020 or 2013 standards. He has a lot of tweaks and implants and the like (as you listed) but aside from his "Black Hand" he's really a lot of meat filled with implants. You start hacking off both arms and or legs, or replace your.... shorter version. Morgan is NO Adam Smasher, he is not even a Bloodrazor (Malestrom)@@itsdavetvYT
But you have to think lore wise the cyberware from 2020 doesn't come close to 2077, especially in regards to efficiency. Even though I have a lot of Cybeware implants all of the wiki items are filled in with "improved" versions. This is a maxed out version of his build.
@@itsdavetvYTwell, neural processor is installed to the lower spine, is unnoticeable from the outside and has little effect on humanity, due to being just a basis for other implants, chipware and neuralware. Sandevistan is just a co-processor attached to this main processor and provides lesser impact to psyche than Kerenzikov. Links, plugs and chipware sockets are basic implants that almost everyone in 2077 uses. Same goes for cyberoptics. Muscle and bone lace is a bioware, not chrome. He is minimalistic in his kit.
I wish I could be more helpful since the only way I could make it is with the help of mods allowing me to reset my attributes as many times as I want, but tbh you can level up everything pretty evenly unless you want to focus on a specific weapon type. Having decent Tech and Body will help with opening certain doors for missions, but I will say I'd focus on Intelligence last overall.
I guess you can also get the Twitch Prime guns through loot from the airdrop in Dogtown. Never had Twitch Prime or watched Cyberpunk content there and got the Chesapeake in my stash. Knew the name sounded familiar from one i looted today while playing
Hey, I have a question regarding your build. While you're going over your cyberware, you talk about Chitin have +200% health regen because you have 20 points in body, and for a split second at the beginning of the "Stats to Max" section, your attributes show as 20 Body, 18 Reflexes, 20 Tech Ability, 3 Intelligence, and 20 Cool. But in the "Attributes, Perks, and Relic Skill Tree" sections they are all 16, 15, 20, 15, and 15 respectively.
I think my thought process was that if people didn't want to spec into Intelligence for the Smart Weapon perks they don't have to, but I completely forgot to convey that message. 100% my bad for dropping the ball, in reality the build is really just an interpretation and it took me hours of playing around with it to find something close to being "lore accurate"
If you want to go for it, but if you’re a Netrunner I believe you can still hack the door on the ship to open it and grab the blueprint or you can mod the game to get the key
Good idea, but for now I'm going to stick with characters in the verse and similar sci-fi crossovers like Ghost in the Shell, Akira, etc. Appreciate it tho!
I like modding as much as the next guy, but some people don't want to and I get that. If you want to really chrome him out with systemEX I'm not gonna stop you my man!

Some thoughts : why haven't you reset your attributes and as I see you have 15 in Intelligence if your going to use a Sandy as your operating system?. I am an OP Solo @ lvl 36 without the special Cyberware available only in DTown. My Cyberware Capacity (CWC) is at 247 ( no cheats) in new playthru on ver 2.1 (they increased CWC shard drops). My armor @ lvl 36 is 1030 and attributes are 15 Body (adrenaline), 15 Reflexes, 20 Tech (edgerunner on), 4 in Cool, 3 in Intelligence, rocking a Militec Falcon (they nerfed Apogee too much, down from 8 sec. to 6 sec and down from 20% per kill to 10% per kill extended duration. My thoughts ParaBellum is superior to Rara Avis as you get a straight 150 amour & 15% boost instead of straight 39% boost and the difference is minimal but the difference in CWC is major. I never use NeoFiber @ lvl 36 my mitagation chance is at 50%, I like Shock and Awe (20 CWC), and Pain Editor (huge armor boost for 24 CWC) and 30% damage converts to damage over time (more survivability and I already have somewhat high resistance to damage over time). I fill all slots like you did, to get 15% cooldown perk (Cyborg - replaces Axolotl) in Tech and never use Axolotl (too much CWC). I do rambo face to face obliteration of all the Barghest goons on the way to Airforce 1 and after releasing Meyers and never snipe or QH from behind cover on the plane and have no problem doing this (OP Solo) at lvl 36 on very hard. The adrenaline converter is a filler and does little benefit but the DTown version speeds you up for a full minute (very helpful), the Revulsor (DTown), instead of Reflex Tuner is vastly better as IT IS a Sandy (slows time but you move at normal speed) for 4 seconds (just 1/2 of the Sandys 9 sec) at 25% health), without being too high in CWC. If you are on PC, I suggest installing CET and getting the mod that allows infinite Attribute resets, if you wish to experiment with shifting Netrunner to Sandy to Bezerk to (the other straight add to CWC), as it makes being a TH-cam video producer far easier.
The reason for 15 Intelligence is for the Smart Weapon bonuses since those are mainly the weapon types used. The reason for the Attribute Reset is because I'm playing with Mods on, but I want to make the build attainable for the average player if they're on console or don't want to mod the game. LIKE I SAID YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE ANY CYBERWARE AND WEAPONS YOU WANT, nothing is set in-stone in regards to this build.
Heyo weird thing I noticed and just curious which you would go with. In the cyber wars rundown your attribute spread is different than when you go over it later in the video. Do you prefer the 20 in Body or the 16? And you also dropped intelligence in that first section then had it up to 15 later
😊 This would be a great build to just use the chrome capacitor and have no operating system so you can really take advantage of the best cyberware in the game and be a tanky FPS shooter all the way. No slowing time or melee tricks just good old fashioned shooting and explosions.
And is combat-oriented. Their signature skill - "Combat Sense", provides major boosts to reaction rolls and since FNFF combat system in CP2020 highly favours the ones who is acting first, Solos are extremely dangerous in a fight.
I wish someone made a mod to make the projectile launcher arm all black... something similar that someone did with the gorilla arms, that made the left hand all black but ykwim. I ended up doing my own Morgan Blackhand build and I'm surprised on how close your cyberware is to mine (i held back on the cybernetics to really go for that "human aesthetic" and steer away from being fully chromed out) and stats, 'cept I did 20 tech(doomtube priority) , 20 reflex(affects smart guns/power guns for versatility), 15 Intell(makes smart weapons a little better), 17 cool(smart pistol affects/stealth, and deadeye) 9 Body (sprint charge that dazes a lot of enemies in short range) the end result was a multiple gun experienced commando build that's good either stealth or going loud - it can take out an army of Saka' ninjas, burning and regenerating health instantly but you'd can't go in carefree unless you want a deathwish not bad of a build here
Question to everyone. Where do you read any kind of comic related to cyberpunk 2077 itself? If online is there a specific website? If physical what’s the name? Cause they’re multiple names

That other guy said you can get access to it after phantom liberty, but didn’t say how you got the card in phantom liberty would be cool to get the pistol and that shotgun, and then play the rest of the main game after Phantom libertyinstead of waiting till the end
Can you do a Canon corpo v as an counterintelligence build
Thought about adding a lore accurate female and male V build, I'll do some more research
Morgan Blackhand should have been a secret boss for getting a 6 star wanted level.
Hey! It’s the build vid I was waiting for. Nice
Yes sirrr 🔥
I feel like he’s definitely gonna be in the next game
next game will drop at 2077
Who cares. CDPR has bent the knee to DEI and so Orion will be a pile of shit. Mark my words.
I wonder if we'll get more options for cyberware and general customisation in the next game
The overture revolver is made my malarion
I would like to point out that a "smart" weapon in 2020s and a Smart weapon in 2077 are two, entirely different things. The former were basically Power weapons packed with advanced (for their day) electronics that improved handling when working in tandem with user's chrome. The latter shoot homing bullets. Hell, I think someone like Blackhand would probably avoid using '77s Smart weapons - they strike me as a bit too close to chipped skills, which Morgan admitted weren't BAD per se, but he considered genuine skill to be superior.
Morgan Blackhand's chrome is enough to make Smasher look like a puppy
Except he didn’t use a lot of cyberware
looks like i found my next build, thanks choom :)
Anytime, enjoy 🤘
Finally! Woo!
Such a shame we can't have a real Rockerboy build though 😭
Half weapons would be so broken, plus dual Optics is crazy 🔥
@@itsdavetvYT Very true, but can you imagine if they implement it in a future Cyberpunk game?!
Might use this instead of a David Martinez build
This is legit the exact cyberware I use
Boutta try out this build lowkey
Tips if I don't have DLC/don't have the extra 10 levels?
Probably take away 5 points from Tech, then you can choose whatever tree you want to take 5 points away from depending on weapons and playstyle
2:42 how do you get multiple shots and multiple charges with the projectile launch system?
You can get it from Relic skill tree which you unlock during Phantom Liberty
@dominikinglot4312 thanks man, I also figured out it's from the "doomlauncher" perk in the tech ability skill tree assuming you can have both perks active at the same time
Hey, choom. Thanks for an amazing video. My only problem with the build is that I don't have Phantom Liberty (This means no Chitin for me). What could you suggest instead of it?
Anything that will boost Armor will be a good substitute!
man im tryna figure out what order i should level up my skills, build look great tho cant wait to try it
I want Karl Urban to play as him if he ever appears in future dlc or game
I think he use the sandevistan ''Warp Dancer'' is iconic
Unfortunately it's no longer in the game is I recall correctly
Morgan Blackhand 🤝 Morgan Blacklung
I find it criminal that you didn't try and make your V have a Morgan Blackhand outfit
My bad 😅
Adam seething right now
Where did those cinematic clips with the net runner burning those suits and the lady with the shotgun at the storefront come from?
The old trailers that came out in 2019/2020 👍
It's in the corpo start
What would you say is the ideal starting stats for this build at the beginning of the game?
Tech and Reflexes are a good start
@@itsdavetvYTthank you! I feel like this could be used as an jack of all trades build as well!
What story path did you pick for this build? Was gonna do a street kid.
Doesn’t really matter, but Street Kid is good! I personally like Corpo the best, more voice line options throughout the story
@ looked on the wiki about him and they mentioned street kid and he’s also from NYC so I’m gonna go with that, thanks for the response though!
Like I said you can substitute in almost anything for this build, at the end of the day use what your want 👍
I think mitigation caps out and you can't get full 100% but yeah mitigation is very strong. I don't think it's a hot take tho most build vids I've sewn say that high armor isn't as good as you might think
how would you do this build without the phantom liberty DLC?
Might need to prioritize your attributes depending on what weapons you want to use, but overall it’d be very similar
If you like shotguns make body higher, if you ar/smg make reflexes higher, you don't need tech at 15 if you don't care about the Edgerunner perk
Since the shotgun is at the final gig, can I use Rebecca’s shotgun instead?
Go for it my man!
Im starting this game for the first time and want to make this build, how hard is it to find/get all this gear ?
Most of it is pretty endgame, but can be achieved pretty close around level 40ish
How did you get your rocket arm to shoot multiple projectiles so fast
The Relic Skill Tree perk allows you to charge it up to shoot 5 rockets instead of the 1
If they ever decide to add Morgan Blackhand as an actual character in the game, old Arnold Schwarzenegger would be a perfect look for him
Him or Stallone would be perfect
I dont have PL dlc can I still rock this build efficiently ?
Pretty much yeah, would have to sacrifice on Attribute points mainly
Canon Arthur Morgan in Cyberpunk would make Comrades Hammer a 12x shooter with low recoil. 😎
Weren’t all the Amazon prime drop guns added as airdrops in the dlc?
As of 2.1 yes, just very rare drops
MOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM HE DID ITTTTTTT
You're welcome big man 🤝
i have a total of 344 cyberware capacity since this build takes 326 cap anyone have ideas on what to switch out to make it even better?
Having played the tabletop and know the system, l can confidently say he actually has low to moderate cyerberware
I read of all the Cyberware he had on in the video, he was pretty chromed out
Not by CP2020 or 2013 standards.
Nice build 👍🏿 could you try to do a Billy Butcher from the boys build
Check out my John Wick Build, probably the closest thing to a Billy Butcher setup 👍
@@itsdavetvYT thanks I appreciate the help
“Your no Morgan Blackhand”-sol
I'd love it if you could share more details about attr. points- how did you allocate them in the beginning, what happened at lvl 10, 20, 30, 40 etc.
Didn't realize they added them to the loot pool, but good looks!
@@itsdavetvYT Thank you for the clarification, I look forward to coming back to the game and trying this out.
It sucks that Ba Xing chong is an endgame weapon. Do you recommend speed running the main story to get it?
If you want to go for it, but if you’re a Netrunner I believe you can still hack the door on the ship to open it and grab the blueprint or you can mod the game to get the key
Can you do a masterchief or noble 6 build based on 😇!?
Good idea, but for now I'm going to stick with characters in the verse and similar sci-fi crossovers like Ghost in the Shell, Akira, etc. Appreciate it tho!
Do you have a outfit for Morgan so we can at least dress like him in game
I don't, but let me look into making one 👍
Dual cyberoptics sheesh give me that in game
The other one is just for certain missions, it's not really used unfortunately
Cyberpunk TTRPG first released in 1988, not 1980.
never mentioned that tabletop game, but cool ig
@@itsdavetvYT in the intro you stated Morgan Blackhand'lore started in 1980.
Redhood for Batman, the character is Jason Todd
Actually W character build idea
You should try the Hercules smart rifle.
Mentioned it in another comment, but yes it would be perfect!
Did you use systemEX?????
Nope, I was using mods but not that one. Wanted to make sure people who want to replicate the build can, especially if they’re on console 👍
ehhhh thats no fun@@itsdavetvYT
I like modding as much as the next guy, but some people don't want to and I get that. If you want to really chrome him out with systemEX I'm not gonna stop you my man!
Hello bro, new sub here. Ive been looking for a sneaky, deadly and quiet build. Im more of a gun guy, not a huge fan of knives. I just want to be deadly when i have to fight enemies but quiet when i need to be. Any suggestions?
I'd recommend checking out the John Wick Build I made, has builds for both run n gun and stealth and multiple weapon options to choose from!
thank you so much!!! Will try it out
How do you get 326 cyberware capacity? Because my maximum capacity is 308
There's a perk under the Tech Tree that gives a boost to capacity, but I grinded a lot and enemies sometimes drop Cyberware Capacity shards
Ok thanks
Hey 👋
I have important question :
How i Get Stadium Love Side Mission ?? Because I didn’t found This Mission Because I want (Divided We Stand) Weapon
If you got to Santo Domingo in the Rancho Coronado district 6th Street will be having a party. Go talk to the boss guy and go through the challenge. If you win you get the weapon! Here's a breakdown 👉 cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Stadium_Love
@@itsdavetvYT I am not found the mission in the party . Whats problen ??
@@MISFER2K If you already wen through and killed them all then you can't get it
the stats he ran is 20 body, 20 cool, 20 technical, 18 reflex, 3 intellect
Yeah it says that nowhere my man, not even on the wiki…
@@itsdavetvYT I meant in the video, not the lore accurate lol(it was meant to stop people from rewinding back to see the stats when you first slid them, also by he, I meant Y o u) 7:18
it does end up changing some point in the video to 16 body, 15 reflex, 20 tech, 15 intellect, 15 cool 13:29 (pretty cool though)
Blackhand is V^2
Hey I’m missing 11 perk points and I’m level 60 what do I do?
is there a way to make this work without Phantom Liberty??
You'd have to sacrifice 10 attribute points somewhere, but other than that most of the build can be achieved without PL 👍
got it
Love it
i have only one face cyberware avaliable , what do i do?
The other one is a Phantom Liberty item that's used during a few missions, outside of that it's not very useful
Wonder would this be a good John Wick build?
Funny you mention that, actually made a John Wick Build on the channel 👀
A sandy and a smart link?
that's what the wiki said
Christ bless you, this build is crazy
Glad you enjoy it!
Is this build viable on very hard
Haven't had a problem yet
I got Chesapeake from a dogtown supply drop so I'm not entirely sure it's Twitch prime exclusive anymore.
2.1 is adding the Twitch drops to the airdrops, just a very low chance to get them
Where can I get the cyberpunk comics I’ve been looking for a long time now but I can’t find nun
I'm not sure tbh, sorry homie
is this build still good
yes
Heyo weird thing I noticed and just curious which you would go with. In the cyber wars rundown your attribute spread is different than when you go over it later in the video. Do you prefer the 20 in Body or the 16? And you also dropped intelligence in that first section then had it up to 15 later
Wanted to play around with a few different setups and ended up with the Attribute split in the video, but like I said you set it out how you like!
😊 This would be a great build to just use the chrome capacitor and have no operating system so you can really take advantage of the best cyberware in the game and be a tanky FPS shooter all the way. No slowing time or melee tricks just good old fashioned shooting and explosions.
You can still get Kerinzikov. In that build you'd have Kerinzikov active much more often
Solo doesn't actually mean that you do gigs on your own in lore a solo is basically a merc who does highly dangerous jobs
Correct, I was just pointing out that V takes on gigs alone and Blackhand has as well. Here's the full definition 👉 cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Solo
I ended up doing my own Morgan Blackhand build and I'm surprised on how close your cyberware is to mine (i held back on the cybernetics to really go for that "human aesthetic" and steer away from being fully chromed out) and stats, 'cept I did 20 tech(doomtube priority) , 20 reflex(affects smart guns/power guns for versatility), 15 Intell(makes smart weapons a little better), 17 cool(smart pistol affects/stealth, and deadeye) 9 Body (sprint charge that dazes a lot of enemies in short range)
the end result was a multiple gun experienced commando build that's good either stealth or going loud - it can take out an army of Saka' ninjas, burning and regenerating health instantly but you'd can't go in carefree unless you want a deathwish not bad of a build here
Question to everyone. Where do you read any kind of comic related to cyberpunk 2077 itself? If online is there a specific website? If physical what’s the name? Cause they’re multiple names
I'm not sure, but you might check out the Cyberpunk Wiki for any info
I haven’t heard anything about Morgan backhand in 2077
question could v be a son of morgan blackhand i mean v cant go cyberpsycho nither did morgan blackhand i mean does it make sense ?
You should do a next cyberpunk 2077 build based off Alita from the 2019 movie alita battle angel 2019 build in the next video!
Movie is actually insanely good
