Piccolo being dead/alive was such a major factor in Early DBZ that it's almost ironic how his death had pretty much ZERO impact in the Revival of F arc in Super.

I feel it's a stretch. Krillin was already pretty close to Gohan by this point so if he didn't trigger it I can't see Piccolo doing the same. Remember, Gohan originally thought Piccolo was dead too.
Wouldn't it equally be possible for Future Gohan to go back to the moment where Piccolo dies? Then revive him with a senzu bean and convince them to leave Goku on Namek.
Qaaman I mean I could be wrong on this but I always thought you could just preprogram the location and date into the time machine and it would take you there. So I don't necessarily think he'd need a space ship to get there. However you probably are right that the situation wouldn't change to much except now this version of Goku because he was allowed to be left behind by Future Gohan was able to learn Instant Transmission.
I do have something to say, don't you think that assuming Future Gohan did come with them during Frieza saga that he would have let everything play out to the point where Piccolo dies? A decent amount of character development happened during that time. He and Krillin got power boosts (which there would have been no need for), he saw Vegeta show some kind of emotion meaning he could potentially become an ally in the future, Piccolo and Nail which because Nail did change Piccolo a little bit. And he also would have known because of Krillin dying, Goku learned SS. My opinion would be, Gohan would have told himself and Krillin that he was going to go on his own for a while after he got onto Namek, avoided everyone till Ginyu was deafeated and Goku returned to full health then made himself known after he felt Vegeta die, but instead of defeating Frieza right there, he would watch and protect Piccolo after they thought Frieza was dead, but let him kill Krillin so Goku would become Super. I could see Gohan killing Frieza as soon as that happened then spar with his father till Goku was exhausted from the transformation to allow Goku to still get a fight. In this scenario, Piccolo would still be alive, Namek would not be destroyed, Goku would still learn super, Vegeta could potentially become an ally still since with Frieza dead and 2 supers (one being a "low class warrior" who already beat him once), Goku could end up stronger post Namek since he would be "defeated", then stronger yet after they got back to Earth with 3 years of training with another Super letting Piccolo train present Gohan with them, androids will be instantly killed off, no Cell, Goku still alive during the 7 years, Goku and Vegeta sparring a few times getting them both stronger, no Buu since no Majin Vegeta, Super arc playing out as is besides no return of Frieza so also no Frieza during the tournament. I probably missed multiple points/plot lines.
I agree with you on this, but I don't know how much Future Gohan would remember and know since Bulma only really stayed by herself unless Dende or Zarbon showed up, and yeah Gohan was there during the majority of primary events but Future Gohan's memories aren't infallible.

In scenario A, while Gohan and Bulma would have died, couldn't Goku could still have escaped the way he initially did? Granted, he'd still die of the heart virus leaving the strongest people on Earth being Roshi, Popo and Yajarobe., so the ultimate outcome would still be the same (bad).

Good video, but I had a few issues on this The first one is that while the Manga had Gohan and Bulma be late, the anime had Bulma stay in the ship because Gihan went to fight Frueza. Thus duration may push Gohan to either become a Super Saiyan2due to the three important lose. And even if they wasn't the case, then him and Bulma would've die since Gohan didn't reach back in time Second issue is that while Gohan could travel back to Namek, he may travel to a point where Grieza just transform to his fourth form then kill him afterwards Third issue is that I don't see Future Gohan staying as he might worry if Future Bulma. Since she's the one that can fix the time machine, as well as messing with the timelime even mor Fourth and finally issue is that Piccolo might fused with Kami to gain strength as well as a new guardian without a risk dying due to Piccolo being in the battlefield
Good points and I appreciate you being critical without being rude. First, it's way too early to assume Gohan could turn super saiyan. The timing of the anime and manga suggested that Gohan and Bulma would die because of time or due to Gohan's unwillingness to leave. Future Gohan is beyond 4th form frieza. If he survived fighting androids that killed super saiyans he has to be beyond frieza. Due to the major difference in power, GOKU may persuade Gohan to stay and not Bulma.
That is true that it'd hard to judge the time for the Mangs and Snime, but you can still say that the Anime is where Bulma could've live dye to her leaving without Gohsn. Also Gohan could leave with Goku if Goku quickly kills Frieza due to Nulma leaving early That's the point. Gohan would rather go to fight 4th form Frieza due to hi not changing as much as it could be been if he travel to the beginning of the Frieza Saga as he needs to dodge any chances of unwanted changes I can see that factor, however, it's for Gohan to check on Bulma. You forgot to factor in the king kai still may have taught goku instant transmission since i dont beleave they would have lost there friendship at any point of those time lines and he does mention knowing how to preform instant transmission
9:08 Disagree with Zenos plan. That plan existed in Age 780 (correct me if I'm wrong) and Trunks' future is beyond that time. If there are no interactions with the gods like this video says , why would this ultimatum happen? It didn't in Trunks' timeline (until Goku Black, but you get the idea)
The one thing that you didnt mention is that when someone from a current timeline travels into the past and changes history, it creates a new timeline branch and will not impact the timeline that they originally traveled from - therefore, adult Gohan travelling into the past and changing anything at any point would have no impact on the current timeline. If Gohan were the only z fighter left, we'd have to hope Popo tells him about the hyperbolic time chamber and/or supreme kai takes him under his wing for him to have any chance of surviving the android and buu sagas. If he survives the buu saga and Beerus and Whis get involved, there is the chance that the super dragon balls could be used to bring everyone back!
I should also say, your video was super entertaining and effectively captured what would have happened with respect to alternate timelines. The only scenario besides mine that may have impacted the current timeline is future Gohan bringing the Kami or Guru from the past back to the current timeline. Keep up the awesome work!
He just got resurrected and transported on Namek. It made whole lots of sense not to have him kill again within the short time according to the writer. Then the other writer for the GT didn't get much love from its audience. When all the dead warriors resurrected during Super Android 17 arc, they all got killed off quickly and sent back to hell immediately.

Yeah Piccolo's death before the Cell Games was either a make or break situation. Piccolo was one of the strongest fighters, but if he dies no resurrection so he was a risk-reward type of fighter.
Hey Qaaman, here's a good what if. What if Cooler killed Goku while he was traveling to earth in the saiyan pod in the movie "Cooler's Revenge"? That would be a good future video.
I didn't think about the option of having Future Gohan arrive at the Namek arc. When I though about the what-if, I went with option C, but I still pretty much got the same positive outcome you got. However, with the Buu arc, it relies more on Goku and Gohan (include Goten if you want) getting help from the Kais whether it be Potara fusion or Z-sword training to defeat the Buu threat. In addition since there are no dragonballs, there is a 0% possibility where Freeza could be revived at the expense that all the other Z-warriors are still dead.
@@QaamansLand Yeah. With Scenario B, there's is a bit more to talk about with all the Z-fighters being alive and the Dragon Balls around. With Scenario C, though, the possibility for fuck-ups is greater and more punishing. There are definitely situations where you lose Goku, Gohan, or Future Gohan during the Android threat. But yeah, I'm glad I thought about the outcome and got it right. I was thrilled that you brought in Scenario B because it's a fresh take.
Tbh a time where they live and goku doesn't go ssj is fine I guess, if you don't count the zenkai. There's a possibility that Gohan can teach Goku for to become one and train.
What if goku didn’t bring gohan with him to master roshi’s island for raditz to kidnap? Would he have just taken someone else in his place or tried to kill goku right then & there?
I don't think Gohan would leave Vegeta for dead, goku's impact on Gohan would make him leave Vegeta alive and Vegeta becoming not much of a rival but just obsessed with becoming a super Saiyan if Gohan turns super Saiyan on namek. Maybe he even stops from time to time on Earth to challenge Goku once In a while and him making a rebellion attacking freeza's remaining army. Another scenario that could've happened would be Gohan arriving after Bulma, Gohan and Krillin leaving but before Goku leaves and him going to namek with Goku and training with Goku on their way there, making a stronger base Goku land on namek and Gohan and Goku taking out the Ginyu force easly.
What Actually happens is that Future Gohan would to earth after Saiyan Saga and since he knows the history , he knows that his past self and Krillin can survive on Namek , Future Gohan explains everything to Goku and he trains with him all the way to Namek and even asking Goku to get extra Senzu Beans , Future Gohan would allow certain events to happen for Goku to achieve SSJ but in the same time to save Piccolo , for example Future Gohan wouldn't interfere and would let Ginyu swap body with Goku , Gohan would beat the heal out of Ginyu and when Ginyu tries to swap bodies , Goku interfere to take his body back and once Goku goes back to his body , Gohan immediately kills Ginyu , having Extra Senzu Beans meaning that Gohan can heal Goku immediately which results to Goku reaching 3 million power level much earlier , Future Gohan would instruct everyone to get stronger when they face Frieza and the Androids later on , Futures Gohan wishes for Piccolo to be on Namek and he told him to fuse with Nail , Once Frieza arrives , Future Gohan tells him to transform to final form and instructs everyone to stand down , he tells Goku to fight Frieza alone and oncd Goku gets pummelled , Future Gohan tells him he will buy him time to charge the spirit bomb , Future Gohan in his base and ther others keeps distracting Frieza until Goku charges up the spirit bomb and throws at Frieza , Future Gohan would be stand infront of Piccolo knowing what would happen next , as soon as Frieza fire the Laser beam , Gohan would reflect it saving Piccolo but Krillin still dies leading to Goku to transform into SSJ and that was Future Gohan's plan all along , he smiles knowing that his plan worked and tells everyone to leave Namek now, during the fight between SSJ Goku and Frieza when Frieza tries to launch a death ball to Namek , Future Gohan Transforms into SSJ and throws the death ball right at Frizea as well as firing a Kamehameha killing Frieza , Future Gohan and Goku would fight since they are SSJ at this point but this outcome would lead to Namek being saved , Gohan and Goku could stop on Yadarat and learned Instant Transmission there , once Future Gohan learns Instant Transmission , he gives Goku the heart medicine and teleports back to earth to train everyone while Goku will continue his training on Yadarat , Vegeta would achieve SSJ thanks to Future Gohan's help and everyone would get stronger training with Future Gohan , once Android 20 and 19 arrives , 19 would be take out immediately and 20 would barely escape by the time Android 17 , 18 , and 16 are awakened , Goku would Instant Transmission after mastering all the Yadarat techniques , Vegeta would fight 18 , Future Gohan would fight 17 and 16 would fight Goku but since those are stronger Androids , The Z Fighters would withdrawn from the battle back to the lookout , Future Gohan and Vegeta would go first then Goku and Present Gohan would be next , Piccolo would have fused with Kami and went to have a rematch with the Androids , Goku would locate New Namek because the Namekians had to wish for New Location to stay out of King Cold's radar and Goku take Dende to their new guardian , the event would go the same with Cell and 17 but Future Gohan wouldn't take out Semi Perfect Cell as well as 16 and 18 preventing the Cell games from happening , in the 7 years timeskip none of the Z Fighters would training due to Future Gohan's influence and I am sure the series could continue from there.
But Goku would have never fought Beerus and Buu, so Frieza may not train to fight him and just end up getting beaten again. So I kinda doesn't matter...
Hey what do you think of What if trunks went into the time chamber with piccolo when piccolo entered? Would they be as strong as Goku? Would Vegeta be motivated to find someone to train with him when he enters for the 2nd time seeing their power gains?
My idea here would be "Gohan goes back to just before Goku leave for Namek". This way, everything could go as normal, Gohan could train Goku and push him a lot farther, it's also possible that Gohan could get Goku SSj. In this scenario, there is a good chance that Vegeta would beg Gohan to teach him SSj, and would go down the same path as canon.
What if Gohan was the first Super Saiyan? (Specifically during the Frieza saga) What if Piccolo fused with Guru before fusing with Kami, but after fusing with Nail?
what if gohan travelled back in time on the same second thst piccolo get the shot? like he'd jump in front of frieza's death beam and die, so krillin still dying and piccolo doesn't, that ends on piccolo helping gohan to get out the planet.

Here’s an idea, I haven’t heard anyone talk about. During the Cell saga, what if Cell had managed to absorb Android #18 first? Would his resulting transformation be any different? Would Krillin’s actions with the remote control have changed because #18 had been absorbed by Cell already? Would these minor changes, change the way everything played out in end? Will we see Qaaman make a video about this topic? Lol. Stay tuned to find out. 😎
It does because if #18, Krillin’s crush, was absorbed first, Krillin wouldn’t have been as reluctant to press the button and de-activated #17 before, he could be absorbed. Which would keep Cell from achieving his perfection. Trunks or Vegeta could finish him off, at that point. Unless, of course, Cell could still absorb an inactive Android. Which would just make easy pickings for Cell. Lol. I’ll agree that’s a very specific scenario, but it could have happened that way. I think you may have misunderstood one of my questions from my previous comment: What I meant was, if #18 was absorbed first, would Cell’s second transformation have looked different from what we’ve seen already in the anime with him absorbing #17 first?
Andrew Jackson I guess he would have looked more feminine with red eyes. 2nd form Cell (with A. 17) had blue eyes. Red+blue is purple like Perfect Cells eyes.
Actually in scenario A goku would live technically. The earth is doomed when he gets the heart virus though. Unless say he has another kid who chi-chi due to wanting a replace for Gohan. Still no time machine though. Edit: Also after a rewatch tbh I disagree on Gohan not escaping. Gokus ship was quite close to them (remember Goku in Ginyus injured body hovered there quite quickly) and Gohan isnt that slow, low on energy or not. I think they would make it off, albeit barley. Especially considering how much happened inbetween. There was some time.

So... unless I missed this in the video, but what if when everyone went back to Earth, Dende actually recreated Earth's Dragon Balls to create New Namek and therefore things wouldn't change as much?
I think the original ending of the Frieza Saga was going to have Piccolo die. Gohan and Bulma would get off the planet, but Goku would stay behind to fight Frieza and die in the process. Yajirobe would have to man up and train now that most of Earth's strongest fighters are dead. Bulma would mourn Yamcha but move on after one last conversation with him (via King Kai's telepathy). Chichi would have the same character development she did right after the Cell Saga and let Gohan train. Finally, if what Toriyama's first editor implied was true and everything was supposed to end with Frieza, the last chapter of Dragon Ball would be about Gohan becoming Master Roshi's student and following in Goku's footsteps.

Good video, but I had a few issues on this
The first one is that while the Manga had Gohan and Bulma be late, the anime had Bulma stay in the ship because Gihan went to fight Frueza. Thus duration may push Gohan to either become a Super Saiyan2due to the three important lose. And even if they wasn't the case, then him and Bulma would've die since Gohan didn't reach back in time
Second issue is that while Gohan could travel back to Namek, he may travel to a point where Grieza just transform to his fourth form then kill him afterwards
Third issue is that I don't see Future Gohan staying as he might worry if Future Bulma. Since she's the one that can fix the time machine, as well as messing with the timelime even mor
Fourth and finally issue is that Piccolo might fused with Kami to gain strength as well as a new guardian without a risk dying due to Piccolo being in the battlefield

First, it's way too early to assume Gohan could turn super saiyan. The timing of the anime and manga suggested that Gohan and Bulma would die because of time or due to Gohan's unwillingness to leave.
Future Gohan is beyond 4th form frieza. If he survived fighting androids that killed super saiyans he has to be beyond frieza.
Due to the major difference in power, GOKU may persuade Gohan to stay and not Bulma.
That is true that it'd hard to judge the time for the Mangs and Snime, but you can still say that the Anime is where Bulma could've live dye to her leaving without Gohsn. Also Gohan could leave with Goku if Goku quickly kills Frieza due to Nulma leaving early
That's the point. Gohan would rather go to fight 4th form Frieza due to hi not changing as much as it could be been if he travel to the beginning of the Frieza Saga as he needs to dodge any chances of unwanted changes
I can see that factor, however, it's for Gohan to check on Bulma. He may teach Goku Super Saiyan, but the main issue is that he needs to check on Bulma. Unlike in Super, Future Bulma didn't give directions for the time machine so if she does then Future Gohan is screw. That is the main thing if why Gohan may not stay in the past
By the way, I saw Future Gohan needs to be stronger video, and I disagree with that as we don't know how many times he fought the android as well as the fact if he escape with Zenkai boosts or not

9:08 Disagree with Zenos plan. That plan existed in Age 780 (correct me if I'm wrong) and Trunks' future is beyond that time. If there are no interactions with the gods like this video says , why would this ultimatum happen? It didn't in Trunks' timeline (until Goku Black, but you get the idea)
The one thing that you didnt mention is that when someone from a current timeline travels into the past and changes history, it creates a new timeline branch and will not impact the timeline that they originally traveled from - therefore, adult Gohan travelling into the past and changing anything at any point would have no impact on the current timeline. If Gohan were the only z fighter left, we'd have to hope Popo tells him about the hyperbolic time chamber and/or supreme kai takes him under his wing for him to have any chance of surviving the android and buu sagas. If he survives the buu saga and Beerus and Whis get involved, there is the chance that the super dragon balls could be used to bring everyone back!
I should also say, your video was super entertaining and effectively captured what would have happened with respect to alternate timelines. The only scenario besides mine that may have impacted the current timeline is future Gohan bringing the Kami or Guru from the past back to the current timeline. Keep up the awesome work!

He just got resurrected and transported on Namek. It made whole lots of sense not to have him kill again within the short time according to the writer. Then the other writer for the GT didn't get much love from its audience. When all the dead warriors resurrected during Super Android 17 arc, they all got killed off quickly and sent back to hell immediately.

Piccolo was one of the strongest fighters, but if he dies no resurrection so he was a risk-reward type of fighter.

I didn't think about the option of having Future Gohan arrive at the Namek arc. When I though about the what-if, I went with option C, but I still pretty much got the same positive outcome you got. However, with the Buu arc, it relies more on Goku and Gohan (include Goten if you want) getting help from the Kais whether it be Potara fusion or Z-sword training to defeat the Buu threat. In addition since there are no dragonballs, there is a 0% possibility where Freeza could be revived at the expense that all the other Z-warriors are still dead.
I also felt Scenario C was predictable and boring.
@@QaamansLand Yeah. With Scenario B, there's is a bit more to talk about with all the Z-fighters being alive and the Dragon Balls around. With Scenario C, though, the possibility for fuck-ups is greater and more punishing. There are definitely situations where you lose Goku, Gohan, or Future Gohan during the Android threat. But yeah, I'm glad I thought about the outcome and got it right. I was thrilled that you brought in Scenario B because it's a fresh take.

I don't think Gohan would leave Vegeta for dead, goku's impact on Gohan would make him leave Vegeta alive and Vegeta becoming not much of a rival but just obsessed with becoming a super Saiyan if Gohan turns super Saiyan on namek.
Maybe he even stops from time to time on Earth to challenge Goku once In a while and him making a rebellion attacking freeza's remaining army.
Another scenario that could've happened would be Gohan arriving after Bulma, Gohan and Krillin leaving but before Goku leaves and him going to namek with Goku and training with Goku on their way there, making a stronger base Goku land on namek and Gohan and Goku taking out the Ginyu force easly.

What Actually happens is that Future Gohan would to earth after Saiyan Saga and since he knows the history , he knows that his past self and Krillin can survive on Namek , Future Gohan explains everything to Goku and he trains with him all the way to Namek and even asking Goku to get extra Senzu Beans , Future Gohan would allow certain events to happen for Goku to achieve SSJ but in the same time to save Piccolo , for example Future Gohan wouldn't interfere and would let Ginyu swap body with Goku , Gohan would beat the heal out of Ginyu and when Ginyu tries to swap bodies , Goku interfere to take his body back and once Goku goes back to his body , Gohan immediately kills Ginyu , having Extra Senzu Beans meaning that Gohan can heal Goku immediately which results to Goku reaching 3 million power level much earlier , Future Gohan would instruct everyone to get stronger when they face Frieza and the Androids later on , Futures Gohan wishes for Piccolo to be on Namek and he told him to fuse with Nail , Once Frieza arrives , Future Gohan tells him to transform to final form and instructs everyone to stand down , he tells Goku to fight Frieza alone and oncd Goku gets pummelled , Future Gohan tells him he will buy him time to charge the spirit bomb , Future Gohan in his base and ther others keeps distracting Frieza until Goku charges up the spirit bomb and throws at Frieza , Future Gohan would be stand infront of Piccolo knowing what would happen next , as soon as Frieza fire the Laser beam , Gohan would reflect it saving Piccolo but Krillin still dies leading to Goku to transform into SSJ and that was Future Gohan's plan all along , he smiles knowing that his plan worked and tells everyone to leave Namek now, during the fight between SSJ Goku and Frieza when Frieza tries to launch a death ball to Namek , Future Gohan Transforms into SSJ and throws the death ball right at Frizea as well as firing a Kamehameha killing Frieza , Future Gohan and Goku would fight since they are SSJ at this point but this outcome would lead to Namek being saved , Gohan and Goku could stop on Yadarat and learned Instant Transmission there , once Future Gohan learns Instant Transmission , he gives Goku the heart medicine and teleports back to earth to train everyone while Goku will continue his training on Yadarat , Vegeta would achieve SSJ thanks to Future Gohan's help and everyone would get stronger training with Future Gohan , once Android 20 and 19 arrives , 19 would be take out immediately and 20 would barely escape by the time Android 17 , 18 , and 16 are awakened , Goku would Instant Transmission after mastering all the Yadarat techniques , Vegeta would fight 18 , Future Gohan would fight 17 and 16 would fight Goku but since those are stronger Androids , The Z Fighters would withdrawn from the battle back to the lookout , Future Gohan and Vegeta would go first then Goku and Present Gohan would be next , Piccolo would have fused with Kami and went to have a rematch with the Androids , Goku would locate New Namek because the Namekians had to wish for New Location to stay out of King Cold's radar and Goku take Dende to their new guardian , the event would go the same with Cell and 17 but Future Gohan wouldn't take out Semi Perfect Cell as well as 16 and 18 preventing the Cell games from happening , in the 7 years timeskip none of the Z Fighters would training due to Future Gohan's influence and I am sure the series could continue from there.

My idea here would be "Gohan goes back to just before Goku leave for Namek". This way, everything could go as normal, Gohan could train Goku and push him a lot farther, it's also possible that Gohan could get Goku SSj. In this scenario, there is a good chance that Vegeta would beg Gohan to teach him SSj, and would go down the same path as canon.

Here’s an idea, I haven’t heard anyone talk about. During the Cell saga, what if Cell had managed to absorb Android #18 first? Would his resulting transformation be any different? Would Krillin’s actions with the remote control have changed because #18 had been absorbed by Cell already? Would these minor changes, change the way everything played out in end? No, because Cell needed BOTH androids to be complete so the order shouldn't matter.
It does because if #18, Krillin’s crush, was absorbed first, Krillin wouldn’t have been as reluctant to press the button and de-activated #17 before, he could be absorbed. Which would keep Cell from achieving his perfection. Trunks or Vegeta could finish him off, at that point. Unless, of course, Cell could still absorb an inactive Android. Which would just make easy pickings for Cell. Lol. I’ll agree that’s a very specific scenario, but it could have happened that way. I think you may have misunderstood one of my questions from my previous comment: What I meant was, if #18 was absorbed first, would Cell’s second transformation have looked different from what we’ve seen already in the anime with him absorbing #17 first?

Actually in scenario A goku would live technically. The earth is doomed when he gets the heart virus though. Unless say he has another kid who chi-chi due to wanting a replace for Gohan. Still no time machine though.
Edit: Also after a rewatch tbh I disagree on Gohan not escaping. Gokus ship was quite close to them (remember Goku in Ginyus injured body hovered there quite quickly) and Gohan isnt that slow, low on energy or not. I think they would make it off, albeit barley. Especially considering how much happened inbetween. There was some time.

Qaaman Well when the androids come everyone on earth will die. Since in scenario A all of the stronger warriors will die.
I think the original ending of the Frieza Saga was going to have Piccolo die. Gohan and Bulma would get off the planet, but Goku would stay behind to fight Frieza and die in the process. Yajirobe would have to man up and train now that most of Earth's strongest fighters are dead. Bulma would mourn Yamcha but move on after one last conversation with him (via King Kai's telepathy). Chichi would have the same character development she did right after the Cell Saga and let Gohan train. Finally, if what Toriyama's first editor implied was true and everything was supposed to end with Frieza, the last chapter of Dragon Ball would be about Gohan becoming Master Roshi's student and following in Goku's footsteps.
