With your accumulator I was taught to always close the valve before you shut the engine off, and open it right before you hit the starter. That keeps it charged with oil pressure and prelubes the piling system
I've used accumulator in my stock car . You rev it up a little to get best psi. Shut valve off. Shut off engine. To start. Open valve " wait "for pressure to come up on engine guage . Start engine.
So there I was, wasn't able to make to the race but started watching ANY live feed and all anyone could say is. HAS BILLY RAN YET? 🤣🤣 Your doing something right kid.

On that accumulator you can close the valve before you shut the car off and it’ll hold the pressure. Then open the valve to prelube the motor before you start.
Rob looks like he doing good looks like hes still dropping some weight thats wats up im happy for him watever ur doin is working brotha keep it up! 💪🏼😎
Super happy for the progress everyone is making!!! My Dad and I have a rivalry going on too…..had to send him this because if I win that Mustang….we’re going straight to trails and racing for the title of “fastest car in the family”!!!! He’s got a C6 supercharged Vette so it would be a good race!!!!
You can just close the valve to accumulator while engine is running. Then open it before starting to prelube the engine. Then once engine is running. Oil pump will recharge accumulator. No need for silly air pressure adjustment to accumulator.
I've never ran an accumulator but I'd guess a little pressure it the bladder, just enough so the accumulator still mostly fills wilth oil and enough pressure to inject the oil passages during cavitation. Liquids/oil don't compress, the air in the bladder will and that is what sends that accumulated oil back into the system if it loses oil flow.
I'm speaking of the use of an accumulator for prelubing engine. All the air on the bladder won't Lube anything if you don't shut valve when engine has oil pressure. That's how you fill accumulator with oil to be able to use it for prelube. 10,000 psi on badder won't put any oil in accumulator.
@@brandonvarney7258 yes shut the valve just before you kill the ignition for prelube upon next startup. I think I misunderstood your "no need for air pressure adjustment" as not needing no air in the bladder.
I never had any luck with the box type oil pans. Really nice Moroso with all the baffles and trap doors and the oil pressure would drop bad when braking at the other end. Put a Hamburger rear sump pan with only 6 qts in it I picked up et and cured pressure drop. 4.50s in the 1/8 and 101 60s.
Man those shirts are sharp! The old man didnt look to happy about his trans but a man of his word!!! Id love to see them both run at their full potential! Id love to see the stang make full power! Keep it up u guys hear it more than enough but i mean it when i say ALL OF YOU ARE JUST AWSOME!!! I really want tha new Billy shirt but i havent recieved the first two i bought on the 9th yet. When i get them ill def buy a few new ones! Also id love to have a hat but dont know if they are fitted or adjustable, i am in need of a small but would LOVE some hats! Changing head gaskets would def be worth it give everyone a piece of mind. Damn thing sound sooo good!
Turbosmart Version 2 ReturnLess Oil Pressure Regulator just came out a few months ago. I already installed it in my car as I wouldn't use their first version because it's basically making a big oil leak internally. That's why they came up with gen 2 design no bypass back to the oil pan.
I love all the videos you and your family put out. I'm a disabled guy who was made this way from a hit and run and this family has really done more for me than they will ever know. Its really cool watching them all grow into this well oiled team. I do have one question tho? So i finally saved up enough money to get a shirt from SRC and it said i have 29 entrees for the mustang. I highly doubt all the stars would align and i would win, how much money would i have to have i tried reading the fine print but didn't understand it. If anyone could help my by letting me know id greatly appreciate it ( even though people like me don't have good luck). Thank you for the opportunity and i hope you guys run well this weekend.

I had the 200-4R in my Monte Carlo, use to could build one to hold more than a 700, not sure now, the 200's got more performance attention due to the GN's, we used the better red friction band with more contact area and a bigger servo that applied more holding pressure on the band, which I'm sure Vickers has probably done the same to the 700 if possible.
