I can certainly attest to this. I work in Sarpsborg, but I don't live there. The people there are so weird, and they hate Fredrikstad with a passion. I have colleagues who won't even set their foot in the neighbouring city. It's insane. Just adding to that, Tromsø and Bodø is another norwegian rivalry you might like to take an interest in.
@@stuntpeggnieve Fredrikstad just got promoted back to the top division for the first time since 2012 and is the historic powerhouse, while Sarpsborg 08 has been in the top division since 2013 (next season is the first time they are going to play each other in the top division since 2011). So the occasion is very interesting! (By the way, choose Fredrikstad 🇬🇱🇬🇱🇬🇱)
@@r.davidsenThink she was at one of the matches between Tromsø and Bodø earlier ... but yes that is worth it.
Once again such a great video!! Next year Fredrikstad after many years in the divisions below will finally get to play one of the tensest derbies in the country vs close arch rivals Sarpsborg. One is a traditional giant with the second most league medals, and the other is a modern team who has performed well the last decade - finally after an eternity they shall once again match powers in the Eliteserien, and I'm sure the fans will give it their all. See you all there
This video makes me wanna start a new Football Manager save in Norway
Another belter of a video Pegg. Until the next one!
Go to a ramsbottom united football match they are rivals with bury. They play at the "Harry Williams Riverside Stadium" Ramsbottom Have a decent atmosphere in the john fox stand and jack Williams stand. Ramsbottom are my local club. And ramsbottom is above bury
Great to see south american football chants have their own Lillestrøm version.

We have passion in Scandinavia. Do you want tips about other Scandinavian rivalries? Both in Norway Sweden and Denmark there are less known derbies which is really great

Nieve elsker Lillestrøm, og Lillestrøm elsker Nieve!

Derbys outside of England are just different.
They used to be like this here too till they priced the tickets so high proper fans can't afford to go
@@simongumn3154 nothing to do with the prices. The flairs the show, there's actually hatred between the clubs , some of the games where I'm from ended with people in the hospital because of fights outside the stadium especially when the both teams play in the same ground 😂 , they are too soft I'm England these days
Yeah it was the same here. But I agree. It's been sterilized somewhat since the 80s and early 90s
@@F3xErthere's still hatred in the north London derby. If we could have flares we would. Its not about the fans being soft. Its about the fact that there's organised police task forces that separate fans from the trains all the way to the entrances. The game has been sterilised because there's so much money involved. Has nothing to do with the fans, because even though there is more football tourism, there will always be pockets of militant and ultra match going fans.
@@Robdomino theres hatred and theres fans jumping into the pitch to punch and kick a player of the opps , its just different .
im not hating ,im an arseanl fan , i know whats going on ,im just stating facts
LSK are my local team and i have watched them at Åråsen, the best club and fans in Norway!
Just been watching more of your vids and tbh this one did scare me a little and a tear. Your safety also worried me. As said in another video I was at Bradford City 11 May 1985 when we had the stadium fire and even 39 years later when i see flares and smoke i panic. Was nice tho at the end when the players engaged with the fans...Thats what all sports should be about instead of fans fighting.
You posted this on my birthday
Fantastic video thank you from a wolf and stuntpegg supporter
Welkom to Lillestrøm, StuntPegg.😎🖤💛
