Marriage for me was horrible because I gave more than I received
Black women are reared to be caregivers
But at some point the caregiver needs to be replenished
I’ve seen it w my own eyes
Black women literally dying from high blood pressure stroke heart attacks breast cancer dealing w the aftermath of these unfaithful men
I wish the cheating epidemic wasn’t so high in black culture
That’s the root of all of our problems in our culture
There’s no order and men won’t take responsibility and women aren’t taught to choose better

    It does
    I love men
    I’m attracted to men
But it was one of my most miserable places in life
It’s important as a black woman to choose a quality spouse
That’s why it felt that way for me

If you are coming home and cleaning up after work, yeah, I would feel like a slave too. Both come home and do dinner together. There are so many dudes with old minds set. Teamwork set forth a lot better marriage. Where no feels like slave

Most never get married. The average Black woman is 5'4 "and weighs 184lbs. Nobody is trying to marry them.

We need more balanced minded people in this world to learn and spread more wisdom; for both men and women.

Slavery is forced upon someone. How can marriage be coupled with slavery when marriage is concentual? If a woman feels like she is a slave in a marriage, report your husband to the police because slavery is illegal. However, we all know that it is definitely not slavery, but rather, a bad relationship, that's it. And the good thing about a bad relationship is that both people have the option to fix it or leave it. Trying to create this narrative that women are worse off being married is a feminist perspective and a declaration of war against the moral laws of the Most High. Ij essence, it is Satanic to cast a dark shadow on the sacred act of marriage.

I am glad for you ''woman of God'' I observed something from different platforms that, some women's idea for marriage is about the man doing everything for them and when the man fall short, they cry foul.

Not to worry...most aren't competitive in the marriage market.
Or the dating market for that matter. Or even the friendship market.
There are a few billion feminine, fit, fine, friendly, and faithful females around the world seeking a great life, kids, and family with a good BM.
    Don't worry..be happy!

Marriage is contractual. You are signing legally binding and enforceable contracts. ..."Love" has little to nothing to do with the contracts you are signing. In divorce court.... "God and love" are never mentioned. Just business and splitting of assets. Never sign contracts with someone who is rewarded with cash and prizes for betraying you. It's nonsense. Total nonsense. But legal.

Right! Lol I'm not sure how some of them have become so brainwashed to the point that they think it's okay to go have these babies and raise them alone because to them, being married is being enslaved.

If you have a good husband you will be straight
It sounds like you have a great husband which is a blessing
But we have to be honest that most black women that are married don’t have good husbands
I was just talking to my coworker about this
How men take advantage of their wives and take them for granted

Hmm African american couples must be different to Caribbean british couples. We've been happily married for over 15 years. We're still in love. The mortgage is paid off and luckily we go on regular holiday. The only thing about Slave in our marriage is my favorite funk song by the band Slave, just a touch of love.

I can understand why she had servants because It sounds like she is a very busy woman and also she could probably afford it because she was bringing an income as well.

There are very few women I will listen to pertaining this morning. I NEVER hear men saying this, only women. Even though, most men are practically responsible for most of the things in their house, and that actually can feel enslaving instead of what these women feel having all day to themselves doing nothing 😅

      1 Peter 3:7
Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an, understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

I love your thoughts on marriage. However, scripture says he hate the putting away not divorce. This is much different. Divorce is still sanctioned and if necessary permitted under the dictates of the biblical Law. God doesn't punish you if you divorce. That part is not scripture.

Thank you for your feedback. But these are your own words. I never said anything about "punishment."I said there are consequences for doing what God hates. God's words remain the same regardless of our opinion, plus it was Moses who permitted divorce not God Here's a couple Bible references on divorce.
      Matthew 19:3-11👇
3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?”
4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
10 The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.”
11 Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others-and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”
