I liked the last one with switching the mace behind the back.
That's what I need to get my shoulders used to hold weight low at the back.
As an older beginner at mace (age 75) I take it easy.
So no 360 until I got the shoulders used to that kind of load.
I'm currently working with a 4 kg Clubbell and a 6 kg Macebell.
They are really good for rotating and asymetrical loaded movement. Exactly what I have been lacking.
This program could become part of my morning warm-up.
My usual training is simple strength training with gymnastic rings for the upper body and some barbell for legs..That works well, but doesn't include any rotating and side loading. And I notice some unconditioning at that sort of thing.

Mesmerizing! Would love to keep progressing from my ‘baby mace’ with longer and heavier and also add clubs.

Appreciate this content - as I am in my 50’s this modality has done wonders for my mobility and has reduced joint pain.

Love this "short mace" program. Works great with an Adex Arc. Really helps my 66 YO body to loosen up in the morning. Thanks!

Great video... Your explanations are so clear. One thing, however, this also also good for those 70+ (yes, i am over 70 and just got a mace, and am enjoying it)

This is the first time I’ve noticed that the videos you do outside are literally just outside your studio (I recognize the tanks out those windows on the left). :)

I've came across your videos in the last couple days. I have never heard of these tools or using these tools- clubbell and steel mace- where would one obtain these tools? price is probably high as they are specialized items, not sure if it would be in my budget to purchase right now. is there a way to do your flows without these tools and perhaps use a substitute of some sort? I'm in my late 40's and I need to help my body heal and be stronger. there are painful areas in my body- traps, neck, shoulders, arms wrists... I look forward to healing. thanks!

Hi Kat! I recommend for you a Steel Mace that is 5 or 7lbs, and they are very affordable. Simply search at Onnit.com or Tacfit, for name brands or amazon for generic. It will be the best investment you'll make for your body. Secondly, we have beginner programs and a 2 week unlimited trial for my virtual studio starting monday for anyone who registers for the Monday 5:30pm Steel Mace Vinyasa class online. Send my team a message via the contact form at www.flowshala.com and we can get you set up! Peace be with you. I also recommend the lower intensity Foundations training classes on Thursday at 10am PST at my virtual studio. See you soon!
