- After six months of flirting with the idea, I have eventually packed my bag and my tent and headed into the Ochils for a camp and a walk.
Sit back, relax and take a truly peaceful trip into the mighty Ochils with the Ginger man.

Thank you , as a 70 year old Fifer living in the deep South ( Suffolk ) I really enjoy your vlogs, it's Braw seeing the places I used to tramp over 40 or 50 years ago . 👍
Camped there 2 weeks ago, cracking wee spot
I believe the highland spring water comes from those very hills 😊
Thanks to your video, my family and I just spent a fantastic day out in Alva Glen, walking up to Smuggler’s Cave! 🤗
Well, some of that trek was a little treacherous, but beautiful views. Wish we had those views close where I live in the States.
I was there 2 weekends ago! Absolute beautiful!
Did you know tht the water for Highlnnd Spring comes off the Ochils? You got a nice freebie in an Highland Spring Bottle😆. Thanks for such a lovely video Gingerman, and for reminding me how lucky I am to live in the lovely Wee County of Clackmannanshire. I feel your pain though -climbing the zigzag path at the top of the Glen is hard on the legs! It certainly gives you a good workout😃I completely agree, re getting out in nature. It's braw!
Very nice... I was up Tilly Glen the other day scouting for a good camping spot... The Ochil hills have many beautiful spots, spoiled for choice... loved those drone shots dude, good work.
Oh thank-you for this lovely video . I stay in Alva for one year, and than I came through your videos. I am learning English with your video and also discover new locations with you. I've been to Alva Glen thousand times but never got to see what is behind. And I am happy that you showed it to us. Now I know ... thank you again
I'm glad the video has helped. Where do you come from?
@@GingerManWithACam I came from Ukraine 🇺🇦, and very thankful tonyour country and to all kind people for their support 🙏 ❤
The Ochils are just the best playground. Brilliant video, especially as I've never, to my shame, made it up that far in Alva Glen.
Thank you dude.
Fifer here, thank you so much for these videos, there's so many places i wouldn't even know exist without this channel that are just a few hours away.
That’s for cleaning your boots when it’s wet
Tremendous video, that infamous east of Scotland wind strikes again sadly but what a crackin wee spot you found for base camp eh, a brilliant hike in a really stunning area. Love your videos cause they let me see places i cant access due to disability so thank you very much for all you do mate 👌😁👏
Great episode ! That path looked a bit dodgy and precarious in places, when you were saying you were either a Wizard or a Hobbit, Gimli popped into my head ;)
Haha yes Gimli is my favourite!
Great video man one of my favourites you’ve done. What a brilliant spot you chose to camp at , where you filled your water bottle up is called the smugglers cave
Brilliant video mate,it’s been a while since I was up there.
The last scene back to the car,you are the new king of swing Mandingo!
Thee Kiiing of swiiing.
Yeah but you would have to dye your hair and beard to be a shoe bomber mate!
