    The hot springs are amazing when it's pouring rain because the rain is slightly cold and the hot springs are so steamy and warm you up well. It's a perfect contrast. It's one of the most relaxing and cleansing feelings you can have. Not to mention how they perfectly infuse the pools/chambers/waterfalls with the natural elements and plants. Unreal experience that I'll never forget.

Could feel your excitement for the spa and hotel, and the rainforests. Thats some reasonable prices for all those amazing pools and haven't seen your accommodation yet. If it makes your non-seeing the volcano plight any better, Mt Fuji here in Japan is similarly elusive with showing itself in full. Even on clear sunny days there is often only a small window of an hour or two when the peak isn't shrouded in clouds. Lots of luck needed with getting the timing right.

    • @WillieDuitt1
      @WillieDuitt1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have a friend that visited Japan years ago and while on a vantage point to look at Mt, Fuji he said everyone there started to speak very excitedly and he looked up and the cloud broke and between the cloud appeared Mt, Fuji!!! He took some great photos and told me that some of the Japanese people there said that it was rare to see the Mountain.

    • @japankofun
      @japankofun 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WillieDuitt1 It's rare when you want to see it, and kinda not so rare when you aren't planning to i.e. almost every time I'm nearby the area (including two days ago) it disappoints, including the time I climbed it and the clouds parted for no more than 15 minutes whilst I was on top. On the other hand, I've done some part-time work in a Shinjuku office, up on around the 30th floor of a building, and Fuji has been fully visible for each of the half dozen times I was there (albeit seen as very small, far in the distance). As the other guy wrote though, winter does tend to be the better season for viewing.

    Gabriel that was great and definitely in my taste, I love the jungle and the humidity. So I'm assuming that these travels have not been troublesome with requirements of vaccines yet? What have you heard if anything? I followed a TH-cam channel of a couple who traveled in a Toyota T100 4x4 and built a very ugly overhead camper on purpose and they traveled all the way from Alaska to the United States crossing to Mexico and then all the way down to where you're at now and I believe a little bit farther. I was going to move to Hawaii because of the lush jungle sides of the Big Island but the moving costs are really high and now when covid came in I changed my mind but now I'm considering driving a four-wheel drive truck with a camper like that young couple. the way I'm starting to see things with this whole covid thing is to really begin enjoying this life before they begin to demand you show proof of a vaccination like they are doing in Scotland and I believe Ireland. My heart goes out to those people and I hope that many will stand up against a forced vaccine because from everything that I have been hearing and seeing it is a global control matter with the great reset involvement. Also did you have to get or were required to get some kind of vaccinations for going into the jungle and countries like Costa Rica which are tropical? I'm not referring to a covid vaccine either.

    I’m Costa Rican and I feel so sad! U could not see the volcano clearly bc of the clouds. Yes blame global warming. We never had rain in December in fact rainy season used to stop late November. actually on Dec 30th where my mom lives in Costa Rica we had 2 hours of INTENSE raining something that we even would not see in the real period of rainy season. Where I live now in Vancouver Canada is the opposite, I feel we are having a very warm winter that I HAD NEVER seen before. My sister who works as a biology teacher in Costa Rica tells me that governments around the world every year keep saying that they will start healing the planet but does nothing. When it rains in the periods when it should not be raining foods like coffee plantations get damage. And that is what is going to happen to food around the world. Everything will
    be damage when it rains when it should not rain. It should not be raining right now .

    • @AhhhSukeSuke

      🤣 There's no such thing as healing the planet, with such monstrosities as human beings at the top of the food chain....
      Why do you think deforestations happen? Overpopulation? Fast fashion? Everyone needing a high quality of life?
      We're doomed. It's not a question of IF it'll happen, just WHEN.
      We won't go back to being farmers / living off the land. We all want the best of the very best.

    Cool jungle hike. The thing is, I don't think the weather gets "better" over there. There are some areas in Costa Rica that are in constant rain.

      @@garywilson1688 honest feedback does no harm imo our intention is not to hurt anyone as I’m sure he probably wasn’t aware. Reminds me of those who prefer the fast spin rides at theme parks vs those who can’t tolerate them. Another travel vlogger did his video like this too recently. Couldn’t watch much of it either unfortunately☹️

      No worries guys. Was it when I was running through the jungle? Parts of the video were sped up. Feel free to let me know at which points in the video it got too shaky and hard to watch, for example at 9:45, then I can take a look and see what specifically you're referring. I certainly do want my videos to be watchable so feedback is appreciated.

    • @garywilson1688
      @garywilson1688 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GabrielTravelerVideos Yea. 9:45 is a good example. Also at other times when you are moving the camera around as if you were looking around like around 6:55 and 7:40. Another example is like in the 'First Impressions of COSTA RICA' video around the 0:50 mark where you are showing the room. I think it's the quick movement that makes it difficult to watch. I wonder which camera you are using in those shots? It seems like the effect wasn't as bad in your earlier vlogs but to be honest it was occasionally there too. Your shots where you mount the camera and walk by like at the 7:20 mark are great. As well, when you are walking and your camera doesn't move from side to side are great also. Overall I think it's the quick movements that can give us vertigo. I know when I film that I purposely try to slow my movements down when I am panning but it still seems like I move too fast. Hope this helps. Overall you do a great job. You should patent your 'dive in the water' technique.
