I have an Audi A7 with this issue. Is this something that can be done with the battery connected? Last time I took the battery off it corrupted my BCM. I’m doing everything possible to not disconnect it
Yes you can purchase a used one. Just make sure the part number is the same. Then most likely you will need to get it programmed. The benefit of having your original one repaired is that it will be plug-n-play when you get it back.
If I ship my power steering module to you guys would you repair it for me? It’s hard finding somewhere in Louisiana that repair power steering module for my Audi.
Well I know who I'm going to reach out to whenever my steering module goes bad. This is awesome.

Yes if the modules are de-programming due to incorrect battery voltage the PSM can be removed/re-installed without the disconnecting the battery.
@@upfixautowith this method, I will not have to program the PSM still correct?
Yes that is correct. When you reinstall the PSM it will plug-and-play
Is fixing the only option? Try to see if i can just buy used module and swap on. Or it wont work?
@jasonzidongjiang8281 your better off getting it fix by upfix and get a warranty on it. Cheaper than buying a used module on ebay or Facebook market.
