Hi Mark- Great shave; thank you! A wonderful Timeless/Sterling shave! Have a great weekend ahead. Keep cool! Be safe and be well. Best regards, as always, Mark!
Hello Mark another great informative video and another great shave from a very impressive shaver. I have an old Gillette twist to open shaver from the 1940's that I use and also a Wilkinson twist to open shaver from the 1930's that I use and get good shaves following your moisturizing and lathering routine. Can't wait for the next video.
I just got the new Timeless aluminum slant, .86 gap. My first Timeless razor. It's really good, recommend for $54. I've always been unsure of which timeless razor to get. I have a used stainless scalloped bar timeless head on the way that I bought off of eBay. Eventually I want a titanium razor. The slim looks interesting.
Timeless azor makes outstanding razors. The fit and finish is impeccable and the razor delivers a smooth, close shave. I have the aluminum straight bar razor and absolutely love it. Based on my experience with this razor, I can safely assume that their new slant razor is going to be an absolutely glorious shaver. Please let us know how it works for you and enjoy!
@@MarkSzoradyI've only had it for 5 days lol. The timeless aluminum .86 gap slant is awesome. Might be my favorite aluminum razor. It also has a thin head profile. After watching a review of the Timeless Titanium Slim I figured I'd try another timeless razor. Hoping the scalloped bar .68 stainless polished will be a good bench mark.
Jay, I'd say that the .68 blade gap might be a bit much for new wet shaver, depending on beard type. A better starting point would be the Timeless closed comb Bronze razor with a .38 mm blade gap. A milder razor and better for beginner. Their Slim razor head has a .5 mm blade gap which is also one that would work quite well for a beginner. The great thing is, all their components are interchangeable. so, if you wanted to upgrade your shave, all you need to is buy the slightly more aggressive base plate.:) HTH.:) Happy New Year!
Everytime I watch a video, I see more things that I want to add to my shave den. As I am new to this, the blade gap between the open comb with the .68 blade gap and this with the .68 blade gap. is the any specific difference with the shave? I have been debating trying an open comb razor as my hair is pretty thick and wiry, but alot of sites say that its pretty aggressive shave. Then other sites state that you would rather pay attention to the blade gap rather then open, closed, or straight bar. Great shave again Mark.🙂
Chris, I think blade gap drive the aggression and the open comb allows for more "hair gathering" channeling the whisker toward the blade a bit better ...then the whisker hits the blade just a bit closer than a straight bar. Does that make sense? This has been my understanding.
Another great shave and great video. Have a great weekend Mark. 👍👍👍
@MarkSzorady, as always, maintains the high standards in wet shaving education.

Is this razor suitable for a novice wet shaver?
