Wow and wow is all I can say. Just got mine today this razor is phenomenal! I called timeless and let them know I bought it because of your review. I also tried to talk them into making it in titanium. They have had such good feedback they are considering the other metals. This one is a must have.
First time shaving with this razor yesterday morning and it was outstanding! It took down two days of growth by 90%+ on the first pass. If I wasn't going for a smooth face, I would have stopped right there. It's also by far the mildest razor I have used. There's zero blade feel. I would have to intentionally press hard to try and nick myself. Some may prefer more feedback, but for those who just want an effortless daily shave, then this is the razor for them. Better than a Henson. Simply amazing!
It is a Rock Star! I had a great shave with it. Stirling soap. 30mm Yaqi G7 brush. Astra Russian blade. I was going to use a Feather but decided on a mid level blade instead. Excellent Razor. It needs regular use in my shave den. Gonna be testing all blades and see whats best. I think it will shave well with about any blade. Mild, Comfortable, and effective.
Used a Bic Chrome Platinum last night. Excellent results. More blade feel for sure but still very smooth. Used PAA soap and a 28mm AP Shave Co brush synthetic G5C
Used a Wilkinson Sword Gillette Saloon Pack last night. It doesn't matter the blade. It cuts and it cuts smoothly and efficient with every blade I've tried. Going to Feather tonight and expect the same results.

Nice shave David and congrats on 10,000 subs!! 👏🥳 I didn't know very much about Timeless before, so thanks for the spotlight on them at the beginning of the video. Just received this razor yesterday and used it this morning. What a great slant razor. Very mild. I got a great shave and once I get use to the lightweight difference from my stainless steel razors, I bet my shaves will get even better. Just like you, I never thought I would find a slant that was comfortable. This might even work for a beginner. Have a great weekend. 👍👍👍

@@OhioShaves I did happen to use them the other day. Definitely a fan of these blades. And I seen recently you like the Persona Comfort coated blades as well. Those are typically my go to blades for new razors.
Awesome shave, David! I might have to look into their bronze razors a bit and do some more research on whether to get the Solid Bar or Open Comb. Not too much of an aluminum person (despite me liking the Henson, but I use a different handle with that), so I think going a step up would be better. Great quality razors. I'm just still into blade and soap testing at the moment (with another razor coming the next few days) so maybe when everything calms down, I'll be able to pick up a Timeless. Thanks again!

After watching you and others from the TH-cam shaving community (such as Mark Szorady), I'm back to safety razors after moving to disposables 20 years ago. Great Review Dave!! I currently don't own a slant razor. I've toyed with the idea of maybe purchasing one. You've got my interest up about this razor... I'm definitely going to look into it.. Congratulations, on 10 K!!🎉
New to this shave. I usually get ingrown hairs real bad on the neck area. I have tried the disposable Bevel razors and like them. Looking to dive deeper into razor and blades. Recommendations for razor, blades, soap?? Thanks.
#OhioShavesTimeless Ten thousand is a huge number, really hard to reach. Congrats to you. Another great video and shave…you really turned me on to Thayer’s, can’t go a day without it now.
Hi, I'm looking to pick up a safety razor and I've been learning so much from your detailed impressions-thank you! How do you think this slant compares to the regular Timeless aluminum, as far as capabilities as an only razor handling various levels of growth? I know both are said to be fairly mild, but is there much practical difference between them; is one likely to be better at handling longer growth? I'm looking to keep my neck shaved smooth but face will vary between light trimming on cheeks and beard edges or entirely taking off a month or more of slightly coarse beard, so I'm wondering if the slant's larger gap makes it more versatile in this regard?

The one thing I'll give them points for on their ALSB45 razor...working with or without the washer. It definitely bucks the trend where if a razor comes with the washer it won't work without it. I think these two razors show one important thing, you can have a mild razor with the efficiency of those one would classify as aggressive. Honestly both look like they would make perfect daily drivers and one pass razors at that with the right blade. You also have to tip your hat to them for this, their AL razor, even with a stand, comes in at a more affordable price point than most. Good video.

#OhioshavesTimeless Great video. All it was missing was a "Come on 'Merica". Slant with a negative blade exposure. Def want to add that to the collection along with that brush so I can just change knots and not worry about things breaking.
#OhioShavesTimeless No surprise you created another great production. Thank you for putting the spotlight on this razor. High praise for you to say you would consider owning this. And the price $54, machined here is the USA, unbelievable. How does this compare to the Goodfellas Smile Slant?
Another great vid. Love when you change blades during the shave, kind of gives us a two for one review. Never tried a slant. What are supposed benefits to it? Also, how would you compare the build and quality of the Timeless to a Yates?
I just got started with safety razors, I hated paying so much for those multi-blade razors. I'm currently using the henson al13-m, love it but I'm so curious about other razors now because of your videos. I've also switched over to shaving soap, another money saver. I'm also wondering what difference is between accuforge and the comfort coated blade you're using in this video, what do you prefer? Do they both equally shave well?
Went from the Philips one blade (cause of the sensitive skin) to wet shave a few years ago and never looked back! Wet shaving is almost like a new hobby! Would love to try this razor from timelessrazor! My go to razors today is the Feather AS-D2, Merkur Futur and the Merkur Progress with the Astra blades, as ive got very sensitive skin! I still haven’t figured that out. They say it’s made for a sensitive skin and this is the first slant razor. I actually liked. I think it’s more of a marketing ploy.
Hi David. I bought the Leaf Razor and Thorn for head and face shaves respectively because of your past recommendations. And been enjoying learning to use them. I also have a Yates Winning razor being made now and should have that by April sometime. So with that said, I am going to order the Timeless Shave bowl and will definitely put this razor and brush on my ‘next to try’ list. Thank You for all the soap recommendations too. #OhioShavesTimeless A few comparison videos with the razors you've tried would be awesome. I'd like to see comparing the timeless slant with the yates merica. You could maybe do a March madness bracket thing for a few episodes...
Love the channel and content. Have made the switch and awaiting the arrival of my Rockwell 6c. What blades would you recommend for extreme sensitive skin?
@@OhioShaves How does it compare to the Merker 37 C slant? I've been wanting to try another slant hopefully this is good. Also been wanting to try a timeless razor.
@@OhioShaves Just got it in the mail today, might be the best aluminum razor. The package was so light I almost didn't see the razor stand, thought they forgot to send it lol. With a fresh BIC blade, hot knife in butter smooth. Right off the bat zero effort to cut whiskers. Do need to keep the washer with it?
Would you say that the Timeless is better or the same as Henson AL13 razor. I have the Henson AL13 and I love that razor. I really love the look of the Timeless aluminum safety razor. I use to be a welder in the navy, so I know metals. With the look of that razor some people might mistake it for stainless because it looks that good.
I'm not sure if it's better than a Henson. I get some really good shave out of my Henson Razors. It's really hard to Nick myself and I get perfect shaves from using it. Timeless has a unique feeling especially in their higher end safety Razors. But like you said the precision is, something no one else is doing in this industry
#OhioShavesTimeless. Really like your videos and commentary. I’m 73 and just came back to double edge blade wet shaving from years of electric foil shaving. Your videos greatly influenced my decision to move back to wet shaving. Today’s double edge razors and blades have come a long way from when I tried them in my youth. Great review on this nice razor and reloadable brush.
Great shave as always! I've realized that I like aluminum razors after having used my Henson vs my Rockwell 6c and Edwin Jagger DE89. Lighter razors are easier to maneuver around the chin and jaw line, and produce a better shave for me. #OhioShavesTimeless
What a great review. You were the first youtuber I began watching in my Wet shaving journey. Thank you for all the help and information. #OhioShavesTimeless
Not sure I'm ready for a slant razor just yet (new to this DE shaving game) but I am enjoying the idea of swapping blades to fine tune a given razor's performance. Time to order up some sample packs and get some experience under my belt! #OhioShavesTimeless
#OhioshavesTimeless great video! This is going to be a great giveaway! Looks like a great everyday razor and the reload brush wow talk about a forever gift!
@@BryanD_XRP so the base plate actually has a curved cut to the top side of the plate to bend the actual blade. Brand new concept and the slant Razor design.
#OhioShavesTimeless Slants are intimidating but that precision engineering gives confidence. I'll try a slant one day and my first pair will definitely be the timeless 👍
#OhioshavesTimeless Great video! It's so wonderful learning about new products and then watching them at work. Thank you for all that you do for the shaving community!

Awesome looking razor and brush! On a separate note, have you tried the Castle Forbes Lavender essential oil cream and Baum? I’m not big into the Lavender scent but my last 5 shaves have been with stuff and it’s pretty mellow scented and awesome stuff
This looks like such an awesome razor! I use the Parker slant every other day for my head and it goes so smooth, but I've often wondered how a blade neutral slant razor would do on my face and neck. This might be worth the pickup, but we'll see how the giveaway fares first! #OhioShavesTimeless
I find the persona comfort coat blades to be too mild for my face even with the #6 plate on the Rockwell 6c. what blade would you recommend instead? Thanks!

@@OhioShaves Thank you for reply! Compare with timeless in this video and goodfellas smile syntes😀
@@zhilinzhou3136 if you have a super thick beard, I would go with this one
@@OhioShaves My beard is not very thick but relatively hard and needs to be shaved daily.🤣
#OhioShavesTimeless A few comparison videos with the razors you've tried would be awesome. I'd like to see comparing the timeless slant with the yates merica. You could maybe do a March madness bracket thing for a few episodes...
Great suggestion. Just sent the merica Razor out to the winner last week
Love the channel and content. Have made the switch and awaiting the arrival of my Rockwell 6c. What blades would you recommend for extreme sensitive skin?
Grab a variety pack off of Amazon. Everyone's face is a little different.
Congrats on hitting 10k subscribers.
Thank you so much 😀
Timeless products are out of the box. Ohioshaves timeless #.
Cheers.
👍
First off I love all your videos!! Keep up the great work!! How would you compare this razor VS The Velocity One by Tedalus?
This one's not as good, but the titanium Timeless Razor I used last week was definitely better than the velocity one at a 1/3 of the cost
The head geometry or profile reminds me of the Razorock game changer but it's a slant.
Way better than Razor rock
@@OhioShaves How does it compare to the Merker 37 C slant? I've been wanting to try another slant hopefully this is good. Also been wanting to try a timeless razor.
I like it better than the 37C
👍
Because Of seeing your video I just ordered a this razor. You are doing a great job here with your channel. PS I just hit the subscribe button
Thanks for your support my friend. It is greatly appreciated.
Awesome video man! I would love to try that razor. I just started wet shaving; I have two razors in my collection and growing!
How many brushes do you own?
@@OhioShaves technically 2, but the first one I bought was very cheap badger and sheds constantly. I stock to my PAA Green Ray now.
Okay
Great shave as always! I've realized that I like aluminum razors after having used my Henson vs my Rockwell 6c and Edwin Jagger DE89. Lighter razors are easier to maneuver around the chin and jaw line, and produce a better shave for me. #OhioShavesTimeless
Good stuff!
Nice shave Dave, congratulations on the 10000 mark. Here is to the next 10000
#OhioShavesTimeless
😁
What a great review. You were the first youtuber I began watching in my Wet shaving journey. Thank you for all the help and information. #OhioShavesTimeless
Glad I could help! Thanks for your continued support
Congratulations on the 10,000 milestone. Keep em coming!
#OhioshavesTimeless
Thanks my friend greatly appreciated
Another great shave with amazing products! The guys at Timeless know what they're doing. #OhioShavesTimeless
💈👍
Awesome video 💯
Thank you much
Great video. My next razor will be a timeless
Good choice!
Thanks for the video as always
My pleasure!!
Not sure I'm ready for a slant razor just yet (new to this DE shaving game) but I am enjoying the idea of swapping blades to fine tune a given razor's performance. Time to order up some sample packs and get some experience under my belt! #OhioShavesTimeless
Right on!
#OhioshavesTimeless great video! This is going to be a great giveaway! Looks like a great everyday razor and the reload brush wow talk about a forever gift!
Thanks Bryan. I really appreciate all of your support.
Just wondering why it's called a slant razor. What part of the razor is slanted?
@@BryanD_XRP so the base plate actually has a curved cut to the top side of the plate to bend the actual blade. Brand new concept and the slant Razor design.
#OhioShavesTimeless Slants are intimidating but that precision engineering gives confidence. I'll try a slant one day and my first pair will definitely be the timeless 👍
Great company and the engineering is out of this world
Still Excellent rating in my den.
👍
Did you move away from using pre shave oils? If so, why? I've been using pre shave oil based on your videos and so far enjoy them.
I still use them just not in every single shave.
#OhioshavesTimeless Great video! It's so wonderful learning about new products and then watching them at work. Thank you for all that you do for the shaving community!
You are so welcome!
Interesting, now I have to really study up on slants. I’m so new to wet shaving, the slant scares me a little. You make it seem effortless. Great video! #ohioshavestimeless.
Thanks Phil, Timeless products are for real. These brushes are flying off there shelves.
#OhioShavesTimeless Thanks Dave for all the informative videos! I've only been wetshaving since last November. I got atarted with the Rockwell 6s, which I ordered after watching your video. Shaving has now become an enjoyable hobby, thank you!
That is awesome! Thanks for sharing
Interesting to see what creative things people come up with. The fact that the components are interchangeable is amazing. Very cool razor and brush. #OhioShavesTimeless
Glad you like it!
Have been watching your videos since you’re very first wet shave.. It inspired me to give it a go myself and is now one of my favourite hobbies! Keep up the great content!
#OhioshavesTimeless
That is awesome! Thanks for your continued support
classy razor that! made to last 3 lifetimes! best wishes dapper shaves
👍
Awesome looking razor and brush! On a separate note, have you tried the Castle Forbes Lavender essential oil cream and Baum? I’m not big into the Lavender scent but my last 5 shaves have been with stuff and it’s pretty mellow scented and awesome stuff
I have not tried it, but I will look into it. Thanks.
Love my Timeless Slant razor!
👍
This looks like such an awesome razor! I use the Parker slant every other day for my head and it goes so smooth, but I've often wondered how a blade neutral slant razor would do on my face and neck. This might be worth the pickup, but we'll see how the giveaway fares first! #OhioShavesTimeless
Thanks for sharing!
I find the persona comfort coat blades to be too mild for my face even with the #6 plate on the Rockwell 6c. what blade would you recommend instead?
Thanks!
Anything sharper. Kai feather
@@OhioShaves Thanks
#OhioShavesTimeless good going it's nice to see some milder slants especially from a good American machine shop I dig it
💈👍
#OhioShavesTimeless Great videos! You were the first person that got me interested in wet shaving. I was on the edge of switching and after one of your videos, I pulled the trigger. Thank you!
Thanks for your support
#OhioshavesTimeless Great video. I have tried a few slants, but they were too aggressive for me. I just might give this one a try. Love the brush and plan to get one at the Maggert meetup. Have a great week. 👍🤞
I agree I'm not a big fan of slants either. I'll see you at the meet up.
Nice setup and shave! Looks like a Great razor. Shannon’s is underrated and should be more popular.
#OhioShavesTimeless
💯
#OhioShavesTimeless
I love seeing that level of precision on a product.
And an early congratulations to you on hitting 10k! It feels like only yesterday that you were on a few thousand.
Yes, it happened very quickly for me. I'm very grateful of all the support.
#OhioShavesTimeless. Great video as usual. You converted me to using a safety razor about a year ago. I started with a Leaf Twig, then graduated to a Rockwell 6C with the Personna blade on a level 2/3. Thanks for doing this.
Thanks for sharing! Glad to help
Such a great shave! I like the brush more than the razor, fantastic concept with the easy interchangeable design. #OhioShavesTimeless
Couldn't agree more!
I have considered a slant many many times, but have never pulled the trigger. Now, I’m strongly considering one! 😊
#OhioShavesTimeless
Great mild efficient Razor
I don't care for aluminum razors, love my Rockwell S6, that's all I use.
Great razor
Wow! I've recently been looking into safety razors for the cost savings over cartridges, and your channel has been really helpful! #OhioShavesTimeless
Great to hear!
#OhioShavesTimeless
I told my wife the razor I got the other day was the last one I was going to buy. Then I saw this video and went to their website. I now have a standard aluminum on order. Would love to also try the slant.😁 they make some beautiful razors! Keep up the good work!
Good stuff!
My wife asked me why I have purchased 14 razors in the past year.... I told her it's your fault!😂😂😂😂
At least I got the 10% Ohio_Shaves discount on several! Thanks again!
Thanks for you support
good work as always!
Appreciate that
