few defensive ends can compare to him at all. reggie white is the only other ive seen. joe greene said he thinks that lee roy selmon is the best 3-4 end he's ever seen, and belichick said "no argument here". are they kidding me? bruce played almost his entire career in a 3-4 defense and still set the sacks record. 3-4's favor the linebackers for sack totals. how would anyone question that bruce had to be the greatest 3-4 end, and 3-4 pass rusher of all time. bruce worked with several great nose tackles , from fred smerlas to ted washington, to pat williams. i wish the bills had signed reggie white as a free agent instead of green bay getting him. the bills would have had a dominant defense to go with their capable offense.
