I bleed Red and Blue, have been a Bills fan since age 3. I was there in Fawcett Stadium to see Bruce and Ralph C Wilson accept their rightful place in the Hall of Fame. What a weekend if you were a Bills fan. Two remain: Steve Tasker and James Kent Hull #67, 1961-2011. RIP my friend.
Born and raised in Buffalo during the Bruce Smith era. I can truly say he was my all-time favorite Bill ever. A true gentleman. A soft spoken, kind person who would tear your head off on the football field. Nobody pounded the stair master more then he did. An incredible physical specimen. So may 20 sack seasons. The greatest ever. Way better than Reggie White! Thanks for all the great childhood memories Bruce!!!!
Everybody. Hit that like button, share the Inspiration! What great character and words of Wisdom. Great man,and helluva football player. Bruuuuuuuce! Makes me wanna Shout
The fact is this: Defensive End is a packed position in football. There are a lot of DEs in the league. Bruce played a long time and then had to wait the 5 year period. Then there is the fact that the Hall doesn't usually elect multiple players at the same position in the same year. Bruce had to wait his turn. And he was elected in his first year of eligibility.
May 7th 1989 7.9 inches.....i lived there, i know ! Before you call Bruce Smith a lie, you should've researched. Damn kids now a days. There was also snow flurries June 10th of 80 or 81.
