None of these are mysteries...you just look up the hull number and the Coast Guard will gladly tell you what the story is.

Why does there appear to be a picture of the same abandoned ship featured shown in two sections about two different abandoned ships?

Irishman Alan McGettigan was owner and skipper of Wolfhound, the boat was found drifting in 2013 she had been damaged in a storm and suffered mechanical damage as well . The crew were rescued by a Greek freighter. Alan passed away in 2022 a relatively young man.

The picture shown on the original page is the front half of the former SS America. None of that is still here as it slowly was eaten away by the sea.

Luckily 10 years ago we saw the wreck of the America when a good section of the bow was still on the beach.

Boats/ships aren’t cheap! A hurricane! That’s a reason right there. But I couldn’t just let my ship go.

When they were towing the boat why did they have to let it go and was that a real clip from the person that was towing the boat and why did they have the tow line so long you don't know why they had to let the boat go it sure would be nice if you had found out why so you could have told us if they were having problems towing that boat is because the line was too long the boat didn't need to be that far away but I don't know if that's a real clip from that or not because your not saying why they had to let it go

I thought that the mummified sailor was discovered back in 2016? I feel like I've seen that pic and story before 2022
