@@Vile-MKII That's probably the case considering he's been sealed for 10.000+ years probably harnessing untold hatred and Malice towards his captors (whoever they may be). Wouldn't surprise me if one Ganondorf's motivations in Tears of the Kingdom was retribution because of his imprisonment and the resentment he inevitably accumulated after thousands of years without freedom. Link and Zelda may need the titular Tears of the Kingdom to purify Ganondorf of his rage and so end his violent rampage against the unsuspecting Kingdom.

I like the idea that the Moon in Majora’s Mask is actually an ancient, advanced weapon, possibly created by the same civilization that created Majora’s Mask. They were created alongside each other, and the mask is the device that can activate the moon to crash into the earth.
What I loved about that part was that the moon is an actual weapon being used to destroy everything when you think about it, except it's the evil Majora that controls it. The mask itself was once used as a weapon at one point in time, till it became too powerful and sealed away. Hexing is another word for, putting a spell on someone, in my native language (Dutch), a heks( without the x but you pronounce it the same) means witch. So bewitching rituals which means casting spells.
@@GaiaLegendNL Yet isn't there evidence in the game suggesting the Moon to be a natural celestial body? I recall some dialogues possibly from Shikashi which suggest the Moon has been around for millenia which makes it unlikely for the Ancient Tribe to have created it as a weapon specially when the people of Termina have been worshipping the Moon for apparent centuries as per the many clocks with the Moon symbol spread across Termina.
Everybody’s laughing about the Tingle theory saying he’s a manifestation of the Triforce of Wisdom, but to me the funniest part to me was the way the bot kept repeating or saying “The world of Zelda” in slightly altered ways
The Calamity Ganon theory is very similar to the lore about Castlevania's Dracula. And the Zelda timeline will deter any AI or alien species from attacking humankind because it will make them think we have an supernatural, unfathomable intellect.
I just want to say that your videos always make me smile. I had to have a difficult conversation with a friend today, and the rest of the day wasn't going great, but I saw this and felt so much better. Thanks for everything you do, and keep up the good work!
That Revali theory...I love the idea, even if it's silly in the context of BOTW. Imagine a bunch of new Zelda games where Ganon wins at the end of each game, and then the failed Link shows up as part of a growing council of dead heroes, reincarnated through the ages as other races, each trying to guide the new hero to finally defeat Ganon. And then you could run that to its logical conclusion and have a game world where everyone in the world is a reincarnation of Link since he's lost so many times.
AI: Calamity Ganon is the amalgamation of the darkness contained in the hearts of those who live in Hyrule. Me: that’s just the plot for Kingdom Hearts
I’ve been a silent follower of yours for a couple years, Zeltik, but this idea was actually so fascinating to me! I’m impressed with how complex and plausible some of the bot’s theories are, so much so that I would love to see ChatGPT’s analysis of the somewhat obscure ending of Super Mario Galaxy or what it thinks of the lore of Smash Bros. Much love, Zeltik! Have a great week!
The AI about Revali was SUPER interesting and one that could actually have some sort of truth in it. With every race having their own hero *The champions* they are their Links to the Past.
Sounds like it could be used for a fun colab style idea, have a couple creators ask the bot a question have it write a theory and then have the creator attempt to make it into a convincing theory and see who can make the most convincing argument, generate the comment section discussions and all that. Basically using it as a writing prompt and filling the gaps where the bot fails especially when it comes to evidence, it doesn't need to be a solid theory but could be fun to see a AI theories seen through to the end, the reason for a Colab would be to turn it into a game just to give the silly theory more stakes and generate discussions. Otherwise as a solo video it would likely come off as a bit odd trying to fit a square peg into a round hole without any thing at stake even if it's just who earns the fake internet points for the best theory.
@@ricky.t.1658 “represents” as in it has symbolic similarities. The emotional weight it carries. In fact, I do remember hearing a story that one of the devs had the idea for the tone and the themes of MM, that your demise could be imminent and even if you knew, what could you do about it, from when they were at a wedding and all of a sudden, there was an emergency warning that North Korea may have launched a missile at Japan. Granted, I have no idea if missiles are nuclear, but you get what I mean. The wedding thing is also where they got the Anju and Kafei idea from
I kinda love the idea of the shadow temple as a training ground for the kingdom's warriors and sages. Moreso than any of the stalfos or floormasters, the biggest trial is learning that service to the kingdom is often dark and bloody business, done right under the noses of ordinary people but kept just out of sight.
At least the AI tried to make a theory about the Zelda timeline. But it would have been funny if the AI came up with an error message. The Calamity Ganon theory was actually really good.
8:48 There are several more goddess statues than the three you describe. You mention the statues at the Temple of Time, Forgotten Temple, and Tarrytown. But there are also statues at ever other town and village, and even at the great Deku tree! The three you named are just the two larger ones in the game, and the Tarrytown one.
Sorry, I meant that there are three statues NOT found in a town or village, "in the wilderness", as opposed to all of the ones that are found in towns (Temple of Time, Forgotten Temple, and Tarrey Town statue is found in the middle of nowhere before the town is built around it). I can see how that wasn't clear though, my bad!
The thing it says about the Shadow Temple is actually kind of true in a way even in BOTW, Sheikah technology seems to be.. alive in a way, or have some kind of AI inherent within it. Kinda like the machines on that Disney movie Atlantis, lol. It runs off of the power of souls.
@@ricky.t.1658 you actually have no clue what sheikah tech runs on. I've seen a pretty compelling theory where they use the enemies of Hylains as energy to power there Tech. There is actually not proof against it. And more for it. Since the shadow temple in oot was run by the sheikah. They could still be that way.
I have to agree. It is pretty much a huge burial ground, mass grave and the technology runs on its own. This Ricky guy is shutting everything down, however the people of Hyrule's malice isn't completely ruled out. There are people that go mad when a Blood Moon appears. So obviously there could be others that are enticed by Ganon's power. I will say that the AI may not completely understand the theory itself. But it isn't so farfetched to be completely written off. The Yiga clan is kinda another testament to not everyone following the light. It may not fit narratively, but it could be a byproduct of the theories being plausible. But not completely right.
@@ludgerkres.1437 Rick is a dick, lol. Thanks. I enjoy your writing. Exactly, and even the royal family has it's very dark sides. I wonder if the Blood moon did anything to Zelda's mom? I don't know if it's true, but it makes for a damn good story!
Advanced AI trying to figure out the Zelda timeline is like when Joshua plays tic-tac-toe in the movie War Games at some point he realizes the only winning move is not to play
I find one thing interesting as the AI gave a similar idea with Majora's Mask I had. The Moon is to slow to create such a destruction on impact with Termina. So I had the exact explanation of mass amounts of Energy being inside this Moon. But I am not surprised that the Zelda Timeline can break an AI and we can sleep well with the knowledge, that we have a counter attack in case of a dangerous AI.
A very refreshing video format with such an interesting take on Zelda lore. I would have liked more commentary inbetween the theories to bring your reflections to life more
I actually wish the Calamity Ganon one was real bc it would explain the whole "he's given up on reincarnation" thing like maybe be won't be reincarnated again, but rather recreated anew because as long as there is light there will always be dark beneath
Theory 1: Plausible, and could exist alongside known canon. Huh. Theory 2: Absolutely no evidence to support this, but it is an interesting idea. Theory 3: I was about to say "No", until I recalled the theory that Rupees are intrinsically magical and support (if not give life) to the magics of Hyrule and why The Great Fairies hoard them...hoo boy, rabbit hole much. Theory 4: That's not canon? I mean, most of the statues appear _older than the towns they exist in._ Theory 5: Ohh...I _like_ this theory! Especially if C.G. isn't a reflection of _just_ Ganondorf. Theory 6: The details are shaky, but the idea that the moon was sealed away, and Termina is where it was sealed, is fascinating. *Theory U: Uhhh....forget everything I wrote above lmmfao.*
So that Tingle theory gave me an interesting thought. Rather than being an embodiment of the Triforce of Wisdom, he could be a lesser deity and a sort of trickster figure. The fact that he obessed with rupees could parallel the Great Fairy fountains and how they need tribute in the form of rupees to regain their power.
You should've asked the bot who Majora was. My money is still on the theory that he's a dark wizard who was cast out of his tribe, and later died. His vengeful spirit lingering on, terrorizing people with curses and such. Then someone plays the song of healing to him, and turns his resentment and wrath into the mask, While letting his good emotions leave with his spirit.
One I just generated: "One possible theory about the new Zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom, is that it will focus on the origins of the Triforce. In previous games, the Triforce has been depicted as a powerful artifact that grants wishes to whoever possesses it. However, little is known about its origins and how it came to be. In Tears of the Kingdom, it's possible that the game will explore the creation of the Triforce and its role in the kingdom of Hyrule. The player may learn about the ancient power struggle between the goddesses Hylia and Demise, and how the Triforce was created as a result of their conflict. Another possible theory is that the game will focus on the kingdom of Hyrule itself. In past games, the kingdom has often been shown as a peaceful and prosperous land, but it's possible that Tears of the Kingdom will delve into its history and reveal a darker side. The player may uncover ancient secrets and hidden conspiracies, leading to a deeper understanding of the kingdom and its inhabitants. Ultimately, only time will tell what direction the new Zelda game will take. Whatever the case, fans of the series are sure to be in for an exciting adventure." I meannnnnn...
If the AI gives weirdly similar responses to different prompts, I've heard that means you need to "reset" the AI in-between the 2 questions because it is trying to stay consistent with what it remembers it already said in a misguided way. (13:56)
Honestly, with the timeline portion of the video…the fact that a computer did that on it’s own without help from a person is pretty dang impressive, even if it wasn’t 100% accurate. I mean, it doesn’t even have a brain and was able to retain enough information about a complicated timeline and put something together that somewhat makes sense. I’ve messed around with AI’s before but this is the first time one has actually blown my mind. I’m a real person (obviously) that’s been literally studying TLOZ for about 8-9 years now, and even I have trouble doing a rundown of the timeline on the spot like that. Huge props to whoever created this AI, they did an amazing job. The theories were super interesting too. I’d love to see a part 2 of this.
I asked it to write a theory on Vaati, and it suggested that he was the physical embodiment of Hyrule's wind and that he shows up whenever the wind is disturbed. While that doesn't really make sense with his backstory and all, it would be a fun concept nonetheless.
I can kind of understand MM's moon being the creation of Ancient Hylians. A mutually-assured destruction sort of weapon. If Demise's curse were to get out of their control, they've got a pretty big "red button," that will stop it. Naturally, they saw how stupid the idea was _after_ creating it, so they seal it in Termina. Dooming the land to a terrible fate.
If you were to tweak the Calamity Ganon story and basically put all those evil wishes and the inherent evil and Malice that's inside of the people, all the hatred and fear and despair all of those could have easily been coalesced by the malice and the curse of demise and absorbed by all of the hatred being poured out by Ganondorf ending up in the calamity. Just a thought
I appreciate how it gets thematic elemwnts from Zelda right even if it doesn't get lore. Like it understands that Zelda tends to have people suffere from hubris
This video was great! Maybe next video is creating new characters from various AI? Feeding it the descriptions of characters, using the new descriptions for some sort of art ai (or maybe get some artists to use the descriptions to make the new characters) We can get various enemies, important story characters, a new form of Ganon or more bosses. Idk just seems like a fun idea.
Never has a bot made me feel I was on something, early morning, being completely sober and clean. I hate these things, but I will never get tired of your content, Zeltik. Great work, yet again.
ngl, while Calamity Ganon being an embodiment of Hyrule's malice is canonically untrue, I do like the idea of Demise being something similar. Not a God born from some random force (I mean, I don't think we actually know where any of the gods come from), but one born from mortalkind's weakness and cruelty. also, my guess for whatever the hell happened with the timeline question is that the sources which this AI uses for training (or whatever you call it) included old fan theories, and so it spat out a mix of genuine facts (the names of the timelines and some of the correct placements/reasons) and complete bs (why are there two Ganon Wins timelines?).
that ganon theory would be REALLY cool if totk didn't exist, because it's explains why calamity ganon always comes back... because evil can never be truly erased from the hearts of the people.
Honestly, the theory about Termina’s moon sounds like it’s ripped straight out of the lore behind El Hazard: The Wanderers’s moon. Funny that the bot would mix the AU lore of one franchise with the AU lore of another franchise, lol!

Bro it’s super cliché plus it’s super out of context and litterally it doesn’t fit with the narrative of botw
Has anoyne checked if the AI theory is found on the internet somewhere? Parts of its theories may be taken from somewhere and it would be interesting to see where they came from.
I tried looking, but couldn't find anything that it was absolutely clear that the AI took from. Maybe it does take from other posts,, but by the time it outputs it it seems like it's too different to tell
@@Zeltik I looked a bit too and I think your right. Thanks for the great content!
@@Zeltik I think the reason it is so different is just because when you collect from enough sources, the soup of information will be so convoluted it's hard to find out which did what where. It's like the telephone game given life.
@@Zeltik The Goddess Statues one seems to take the logic of religious artefacts then looking to religious artefacts in our world, because the part about being guides for travellers or something seems taken from how these might work in our world.
Not gonna lie, i could swear i already heard of the first theory. the theory that the shadow temple is actually a testing ground for warriors and the monsters that are present there are the remaining spirits of those who failed. Sadly i cant recall where i heard this from
I like the idea that the Moon in Majora’s Mask is actually an ancient, advanced weapon, possibly created by the same civilization that created Majora’s Mask.
So cringy omg
Glad you enjoyed the video mate, hope you feel better soon!
Wow. I love the revali theory.
I actually like the theory about Revali, the AI sure is a bit funky but it's way more impressive than I thought
I'm surprised the AI didn't explode when asking about the timeline.
Me: that’s just the plot for Kingdom Hearts
glad I'm not the only one who thought so lmao it made it kingdom hearts
That entire timeline breaking is like trying to explain the timeline to someone who doesnt understand zelda 😂 phenomenal video sir
The theories have no fucking sense
I always had the feeling that the Moon represents a nuclear bomb. Indeed, it could very well be an artefact created by dark magic.
No, it doesn’t
@@ricky.t.1658 stop. Learn what theories are. Even if they're ridiculous
The wedding thing is also where they got the Anju and Kafei idea from
I love how Nintendo is not irresponsibly hyping over hyping this game
I kinda love the idea of the shadow temple as a training ground for the kingdom's warriors and sages. Moreso than any of the stalfos or floormasters, the biggest trial is learning that service to the kingdom is often dark and bloody business, done right under the noses of ordinary people but kept just out of sight.
I gotta say I was not expecting this video but it was such a great idea
AI: "I know this, my dad works at Nintendo"
At least we'll know how to identify terminators and/or screamers during the apocalypse now
That Tingle theory and the timeline bit got me!
At least the AI tried to make a theory about the Zelda timeline. But it would have been funny if the AI came up with an error message. The Calamity Ganon theory was actually really good.
Bro it’s super cliché plus it’s super out of context and litterally it doesn’t fit with the narrative of botw

The thing it says about the Shadow Temple is actually kind of true in a way
even in BOTW, Sheikah technology seems to be.. alive in a way, or have some kind of AI inherent within it. Kinda like the machines on that Disney movie Atlantis, lol. It runs off of the power of souls.
No, it doesn’t
It's cool think of the Sheika / Zonai people as super advanced but also ancient. Some people say the same happened here on earth! Civilizations wiped away., but their technology remains.
I would have liked more commentary inbetween the theories to bring your reflections to life more
The AI: The people of Hyrule are sinners thats why Calamity Ganon exists
I actually wish the Calamity Ganon one was real bc it would explain the whole "he's given up on reincarnation" thing like maybe be won't be reincarnated again, but rather recreated anew because as long as there is light there will always be dark beneath
your channel is absolutly amazin
Theory 1: Plausible, and could exist alongside known canon. Huh.
Theory 2: Absolutely no evidence to support this, but it is an interesting idea.
Theory 3: I was about to say "No", until I recalled the theory that Rupees are intrinsically magical and support (if not give life) to the magics of Hyrule and why The Great Fairies hoard them...hoo boy, rabbit hole much.
Theory 4: That's not canon? I mean, most of the statues appear _older than the towns they exist in._
Theory 5: Ohh...I _like_ this theory!
This was so interesting! And the thumbnail fit with the video xD
Ah yes, the Triforce of Tingle. Truly the most iconic Zelda artifact.
Whatever the case, fans of the series are sure to be in for an exciting adventure."
I meannnnnn...
That second theory actually sounds legit
Whoever did the algorithm of this AI software certainly knows their Zelda lore.
Dooming the land to a terrible fate.
fuck yes Zeltik. this is one of my favorite ideas of yours yet
with that voice? you are never gonna lose your job, I listen to these theories because of your voice in the first place
One problem about the revali one, Revali speaks.
Bro it’s super cliché plus it’s super out of context and litterally it doesn’t fit with the narrative of botw
I don't even think the Hylian Goddesses can explain the 'Zelda Timeline'
I like the Revali theory.
Not even advanced AI can understand the Zelda Timeline. Meaning we still have time before SkyNet takes over
VERY interesting concept
Wow, some of these theories were actually quite interesting and creative! Really enjoyed this video.
you broke it with that timeline question LOL
I appreciate how it gets thematic elemwnts from Zelda right even if it doesn't get lore. Like it understands that Zelda tends to have people suffere from hubris
The ai certainly confirmed that link, the main protagonist of the legend of Zelda, is in fact the main protagonist of the game
Asking an AI to do this could easily be a regular subject for. It's interresting and funny
I thought it did a bloody good job tbh! Crazy how it can come up with so much from so little information. This was a really great video zeltik!
that ganon theory would be REALLY cool if totk didn't exist, because it's explains why calamity ganon always comes back... because evil can never be truly erased from the hearts of the people.
Nintendo: we have left many clues as to where BoTW takes place, can you guess it?
Neither fans nor AI are able to.
A question for the bot: Wii Bart and Milhouse be friends forever??
ask it the time you need to beat the Running Man 😂
Honestly, the theory about Termina’s moon sounds like it’s ripped straight out of the lore behind El Hazard: The Wanderers’s moon. Funny that the bot would mix the AU lore of one franchise with the AU lore of another franchise, lol!
The AI can write fan fiction. Great.
and i, for one, can't wait to see people posting ai generated fanfics
The shadow temple were an execution, interrogation and training grounds for sheika.
The Sheika are warriors hiden in the shadow they can use magiks developed by them and they have a deep conection to ghosts and darkness.
I was not ready for the tingle theory. I died.
