Did you miss the part where he was chained, had literally no way of being freed, and saved the Lamb's life in exchange for the Lamb doing this for him?
@@The_True_Mx_Pink Yeah I was completely serious, Kallamar/Shamura were more difficult than anything in this fight. I'm not gonna say it was a complete cakewalk but it was a huge letdown, the final phase was so easy I figured it was leading into a huge final phase, but that's it. Not even replayable like the other bosses were, that was a letdown itself.
@@Raikiri103 Did you beat it first try? Because if you take a tad bit too long, or just get unlucky, you can get into a particularly unforgiving fight where you're being 1. Shot at by Narinder, 2. Impaled by Narinder, 3. Shot at by Narinder's Eyes, 4. Unable to retaliate because you wasted all of your blood, and 5. On your last knees suddenly playing a bullet hell because you only have three hearts. I will say that it was a shame that The One Who Waits only had two phases, I really wish there was one last one. The other Bishops also could've been as crazy as TOWW can get.
I think my game glitched because I got the eyeballs shooting at me while the boss did both the attacks at 3:49 and 4:12 at the same exact time. It was bullet hell to a BULLSHIT extent. And the attacks went on for over a minute until I died. All of them.
I don't think that's a glitch anymore. I've gotten to the final eye 8 times now and there's the bullet walls the zig zag waves coming out of his hands and the eye shooting at me. It's impossible to dodge all of that
The One Who Waits just kills you really dramatically and then there’s this red light that comes up from the ground and then the credits roll. You can do that first if you really want to, before beating the game. It brings you back to the title screen and puts you back at your last save, so you can do both.

In one of the narrations, it was mentioned that there used to be hundreds of gods, but most of them disappeared. Maybe the one who waits elevated himself to that level by devouring the others.
The game explains that, it was 5 bishops in the begining, the one who waits betrayed the other bishops because he wanted to be better/more powerfull ,and then he removed a part of single one of them, the eyes of the first, the throat of the second, ears of the third and part of the brain of the last one, so they captured him and imprisioned in that place, the spider says that it was him who chained the one who waits.
@@redorchid9936 Yeah, as much as I enjoyed the game and the whole cult building, I wish they went a bit more into the lore for the bishops. Who did they worship, why did they disappear, if TOWW started questioning, why didn't the other bishops or the god act beforehand, waiting for him to betray and hurt the other bishops? Of course, only if that happened after the gods disappear but idk. It might also be because I played Cult of the Lamb alongside Outer wilds, and outer wilds is such a masterpiece that Cult of the Lamb almost feels boring in comparing - but Cult was a fun gaem either way
No, its not a statue like the other bosses, its bigger and takes a 3x3 space. But yes, you do get a statue and the pleasure or murdering every bishop, five becomes four becomes three becomes two becomes one becomes nothing.
No, you can. You can either spare the one who waits or kill it. If you kill it, you get a huge statue somewhat like the other ones. If you spare it, we’ll, the video shows that.
