I'm trying to understand your question. Can we populate multiple fields on a single url? Can we pass more string queries into one form on the same page? If that's your question - then the answer is YES :) Just add in the & sign and you can load as many as you need into that link / url path. The example is on the link I have in this video - docs.gravityforms.com/using-dynamic-population/
Great tutorial, thank you. I have used pods to create a custom post type called Advertisements. This get’s populated via Gravity forms and displayed with Themer.
Each post has a contact form that goes directly to the vendor. Is there a way to populate the “ Send To” field with the vendor's email address automatically. I’m thinking there must be a way between Pods and Gravity Forms to do this? I just can't figure it out?

hi Kori, great tutorial. I would add to this, that in this case you would want to disable this dynamically populated field. There's obviously an add on for it and the custom class needs to be set to "disabled".

Yes, you'd just need to pass them in the string.
This is really great information - thank you so much! I'm wondering if it is possible to submit a form (Form A) and after Form A is submitted a second form (Form B), that has been dynamically populated by Form A, could be sent to a specific email address. (That email address having been dynamically inserted into the second form.) Then the information submitted in Form B would be available inside "Entries" of Form B. (I hope this makes sense.)

Is interesting, but I didn't think "dynamic", if you have to pass the parameter handwritten inside the file I don't see "dynamism". Is there a way to get the value of a custom field published in the post that the form is being shown? Exemple? Get custom field "property code" inside form placeholder or form value, is possible? can easily be done via elementor dynamic fields. You then set your URL with the parameter in the BEFORE field and pass in the post title or whatever as part of the param.

I would love to know if there is a way to auto-populate the fields based on a custom field from the previous page? For example, I'm using events calendar pro to list classes and want to use the same form for all registrations. So, I would love it if the venue location, start date, and category could auto-populate so that the person receiving the form knows exactly what event the user registered for. That way, I don't have to custom code the button on every single page. I'd love your help if you know how to do this... Your video got me so far, I just am hoping you know how to take it a step further.

Hi Kori, it is a very interesting tutorial. I really hope you can help me, please, because I am quite stressed since I created a very long form with a lot of Conditional Logic (around 200 checkboxes and drop-down fields) and the form has become so slow (3-4 seconds to get the input). My hosting is good and fast, so I was seraching for a way to fix this issue. GF support suggested to break the form into several smaller forms, and pass the data between forms using dynamic population. They sent to me the info page but honestly is not so clear and it is quite complex; moreover I did not found any other info or video tutorial about "how to make it".
It is weird.. Am I the only one that has created a very long, heavy form? :(
Do you think the dynamic population can really fix the issue about the speed of the form?
How could I break and link different forms in order to obtain one fast form?

Conditional forms can load slowly and start to frustrate your visitors. Have you tried using a new form solution in our community called WSForm? Those guys offer HUGE options for conditional logic and really awesome support for their plugin. They have a free version to check out. Tell them Kori sent you there way.

Love your channel!! Amazing content! I had a questions and was wondering if you can steer me in the right direction. I am trying to set up a drop down based on information the user entered . For example, I have three "Single Line Text Fields", once the user gets to another part of the form (same page), I want the user to select one of the choices they entered on these three "Single Line Text Fields". To give you a better visual, say they entered Lemon for Text field 1, Orange for Text field 2 and Apple for Text field 3, how do I make it appear on a Drop Down later on in the form they are filling? I know that I have to enter a Parameter for each of the Single Line Text Fields, but what code do I use for this? If you could let me know, I would greatly appreciate.

Thanks so much for this video... wondering if instead of a link that auto populates if there's a way that content typed directly into form fields (near the top of the form) could be displayed in the form near the bottom so users don't have to scroll back to the top to remember a question they submitted... hope this make sense. Your upbeat personality is great!!!
Through additional research, I discovered I what I was actually looking for was a way to live populate fields. I contacted Gravity Forms directly and while they don't offer this feature as of yet, they did direct me to a third party plugin from ForGravity.com called live populate. Installed it and works great. Just passing this along. Thanks for your response!

Thanks for the video Kori. The problem I have with this solution is that the user can still override the resulting pre-population with their own garbage. Is there a way of locking the field, ie. make it non-editable by the user?
I'm not too sure how to do this on a form. You may have to just populate the content over on a HTML field and render it on the page. Have you tried that?

You would have to pass it along in the string still and test it, but I would think a pop up would be more complex. Does the user experience have to be a pop up?

Looks like they're using your ip address to know what city you're in and it looks like it's a custom solution... not gravity forms, even though it is on WordPress. They're mapping the address into different class id's and passing them over to the form on the next page.
Thank you for the solution @Kori. And I just did this using plugins "Gravity Forms Address Autocomplete" & "Gravity Forms: Autocomplete Fields". Now my final challenge is to make the complete address stay on field name "street address" because when I type in a "street address" it gives me suggestions in a drop-down menu and when I click any suggestion then the whole address is distributed into their suggested fields like this address: (123 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14203, the USA) when I click on it then "street address" have: Main street, City have: Buffalo, State have: NY and ZIP have: 14203. I just want when I click on any suggested address then it distributes the address and also the complete address stays on street address.
