  • In this video, I cover creating a new form with Gravity Forms and then attaching that form to a Custom Post Type so the user can submit the form and add a post.

    I usually don't comment on videos but just wanted to say thank you. You made it very easy to understand and have opened up a whole new world to me. Advanced Custom Fields and Gravity Forms never stop amazing me.

    Thank you Nick. I appreciate this. I see now that you have to create the custom post type first (ACF) and then create the GF form. Excellent! My next purchase is ACF for sure.

      Yes sir! ACF Pro is definitely worth it and I use that on every site I build nowadays!

      Yea, I love how they don't milk you for money every year. A one time payment of $100 bucks is awesome. Thanks again.

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us... nice to see how to develop wp using some code... not just "all plugin". I am a beginner who like seeing code ^_^ Thanks again!

    Thanks, Nick, very helpful. Just to confirm, what ACF is calling Name (i.e. "image") is called the Meta Key elsewhere in Wordpress, correct? So, if I have data stored in an existing meta key, and want to use GF + ACF to fill the same key, I should enter the Meta Key title as the field Name in ACF when building this out? Thanks in advance!

    Nice. How do you set the fallback image? Worked with ACF, but can't think how to do this.

    Hey Nick - thanks for the great tutorial. I need your suggestions on "Offer Price From". Is there any possibility to create "Make An Offer" form using gravity? I would like to use the "Make An Offer" form with WooCommerce products. Appreciated.

    Thanks a lot for this video Nick. I was searching for something like this for a long time as I have been trying to avoid too much custom coding which makes solutions more expensive. I need to do exactly the same thing. I was wondering how did you manage to do the calendar itself which is the last thing needed for this project. Any tips on this?

    • @icepickco
      @icepickco  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! I actually coded the calendar functionality from scratch and I'm not sure of any plugin solutions that you could use other than Modern Tribes event calendar: theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar/

    Nick - This has been really helpful. What WP tool did you use to create the drop-down filters?

    hi , great , 2 questions please...1/what theme are you using ? 2/My ACF fileds are not listed like you when i add a cutom field, would you know why...? thanks

      @tinyamasisurum0 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes. this happened to me:
      SOLUTION:
      Once you add a custom field, create an entry (fill that entry) for a records (post or page)
      Then it will show up on GF.

    Post types is missing for me under Post Fields > Post Title for some reason i dont have that option so when i submit my form its going to the default posts submission rather than the custom post ive created. Has anyone else encountered this?

    Hi Nick, is it possible to use this plugin for GF to create a new BBpress topic? I'm looking for a solution for this. I'd like to use a GF form for specific information and upon submit, it creates a new topic in BBpress with the information from the Gravity Form inside of the content area of the topic post.

    Nice. Could use this on a project. But need to automate the form submissions and a payment checkout solution. Can this be done with Gravity forms?

    • @icepickco
      @icepickco  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe so! Gravity Forms is very extensive and has some good documentation so I'm sure you could do it!

  • @RemoteTactical

    I couldn't find that plugin and I assume GravityWiz took it over. I added it, but when I choose custom field and then the dropdown for existing custom fields, my ACF fields do not show up. Something I've missed?

    Where did you get your modal code from and it would be great hear that you're creating a video tut showing how to use that code.
