What a fantastic card room. I love all the shelving and displays. Those old Becketts sure bring back memories. Those card shop style displays are awesome!! Thanks for sharing.
Freaking awesome Room. Love those NES games and that old baseball shaped storage it a classic 😂😂. I wish I had a room with card shop displays so awesome. So glad you gave is a tour thank you 🤙🤙
Hi Bill, can't go wrong with Griffey cards, that is a nice looking 9. Man cave looks awesome. Love those clear plastic display racks. Excellent mixture of cards and memorabilia, well organised. Thanks Stephen
Really enjoyed your man cave. The 1st thing you showed was that 82 Cardinals t-shirt, which is so cool. I'm a Brewers fan and even though we lost the series, we had a parade. I also love the Griffey Becketts. I have about 10 different ones. He was on so many. Cool stuff.
I’ve got one of those baseball card holder things from my childhood; but I was born in ‘91. Love your cases- and your throwback videogames! RETRO BABY! New subscriber here!
I’m a new subscriber to your channel. You have an amazing card room/man cave. I’m a huge Cardinals fan as well. Too much awesome stuff to comment on. The autograph bats were amazing. I collect the Cardinals Sports Illustrated’s as well. Just very well done and thanks for giving us a tour.
Man. Nintendo, Baseball Cards and that Baseball card Holder shaped like a baseball! Brings me back to the 80s and early 90s! Fantastic card room tour buddy! Always enjoy and thanks for sharing with us! Hope you are doing well.
Thanks a lot. I actually got those used through the school I teach at. They are pretty hard to find unless someone wants to spend 2k for one, which is definitely not me!
Awesome seeing all the cardinals stuff. I’m hoping to do something similar in a couple years with all of mine. I was at the game in 2004 when Griffey hit his 500th HR, and it was Lou Brock bobblehead day too.
@@billyballgamesportscards I do, and my game ticket. I collect SGA bobbleheads of Cardinals Hall of Famers. Eventually I want to frame my ticket and an 8x10 of that home run I picked up a while back.
Those are clear magazine stands that I drilled holes into and nailed to the wall. I think I'll explain what it is along with the clear shelves. I've gotten a lot of questions about them. Thanks for tuning in it's much appreciated.
I just subbed to ya. Not sure why I haven't seen your channel before.... maybe I have and forgot. Anyway, great griffey pick up. I always loved that 92 insert set. Love the room, great use of space man. Those nes games are sick. I still have my nes too. Awesome stuff man. -Jayson
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. No worries, man. There are a whole lot of channels out there, and watching TH-cam videos could be a full-time job if we watched them all. I'm glad you found me, though, and thanks for the support.
Very nice collection. So tucked away in a lower level of an antique store in Crown Point Indiana is a game used base from a Cardinals game. It's been a while since I have been to the store but I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be there still. I want to say the price was around $300. I am a baseball nut so considered buying it myself.😂
Wow, that's pretty cool. Does it have certification to prove it's from an actual game? Let me know if you end up picking it up. Thanks for the support.
You had me worried at first with how much I saw with nothing Ozzie and then Boom...you smack me with a pile! ❤ I've been collecting him since around 82-83 and still my only true 'pc'. I need that McF backflip and I had no idea there was a team starting lineup! Easy sub! (now to get some others of the 4k viewers to like and sub lol)
Thanks for tuning in and subbing. Much appreciated. I had no idea about the team starting lineups either until a buddy pointed it out on eBay. They are pretty sweet.
Well done, Sir. Thanks a lot. If it was a Cubs room, there wouldn't be as many pennants to display! Just messing with you, please don't take offense. 😂
Thank you, and thanks for checking out the video. I picked those up used from my school last year. They are pretty tough to find used and are usually really expensive new.
Nice stuff. Speaking of Griffey's, I saw Junk Wax Hero interview a Super Collector who had a quarter of a million Griffey's, crazy! No quarrels with your handle, just curious the backstory behind the puckhead portion. It seems by your collection and playing and coaching background that Baseball is your jam. I'm surprised its not more like stlseamhead sports cards? Thanks for sharing!
I watched that interview with the Griffey super collector. It was awesome. There was about a 10-15 year period in my life that hockey surpassed baseball as my favorite sport. stlpuckhead came from my online gaming tag that I came up with around 2010, and I've just kept it. I have thought about going with a more baseball centric name, but I collect all sports. I may change it at some point if something grabs me. Great question. Thanks for checking out the video.
Well done sir 👍- I was actually going to ask you where you got the display cases! Been wanting to do something similar for my man cave but I saw in the comments you said you got them used (at least I think). Hopefully I can somehow get lucky ha. Well done again!
@@doug_sports_collector is Orlando's restaurant? When is the show and how many tables do they usually have? I've been wanting to check out shows in Kansas Ciry and Saint Louis. I'd love to link up if I'm able to go.
Are you talking about the clear shelves I have the graded cards in on the walls? If so, they are actually nail polish shelves my wife found for me on Amazon. They are super cheap, and I got them because they don't block any view of the cards.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I've never had much money. It was very recently that my budget changed. A few years ago, I was collecting on a 200 dollar a month budget. But most of the stuff you see in this video has been collected over 20ish years at 10 or 20 bucks at a time. A lot of it I've had since it was new. Collecting doesn't have to be expensive. Thanks again for watching.
Thanks for checking out the video. Where I live robbery isn't much of a worry. Fingesr crossed, and someone would be very surprised to find what was waiting for them if they did break in, and I'll just leave it at that.
@stlpuckheadsportscards if MY dumbass thinks about it, REAL criminals have BEEN making plans.
