I was stunned when they said he died. It was obvious that he gained weight, and he looked so healthy and energetic. It goes to show that abuse runs very deep in a body, and his organs were probably damaged. I'm so grateful he knew only love at the end.
Maybe he had some sort of internal trauma, or got some kind of sickness that made him pass away, sometimes you think it's okay, but life surprises you, not in a good way... I rather to think he got to his family to teach them something precipis, and he accomplished that. His mission was done and he finally could have the rest he deserved. It's sad saying these words, but I've learned that every single thing, even the worst one, is there for a reason, to teach you something.
Right now I'm sitting here crying cuz I had to put my dog down he was 15 and that gave him a good life but this poor dog did not have much of a good life made those people rotten hell someday that did that to him
Oh I cried like a baby when this story took a turn. I wasn’t expecting for Tad not to make it. On the positive side he knew total love before he passed. There is nothing more that any of us want and need. Bless you Tad. ❤️
I got teary-eyed, and then when that cute baby was adopted? I couldn't help but laugh because she announced her arrival to the family and proceeded to fill that aching void with joy🥰
It took a devastating heartbreaking rescuing a dog who just was too far gone to be saved to make me even more passionate about rescuing and fostering we have to start seriously cracking down on these animal abusers.
Seventeen years ago, I rescued my dog from the most unimaginable cruelly. The previous owners had used him as an ashtray, broke his back legs and was enjoying starving him to death. My little dog was my whole life, and aged 18, I lost him on 6th December 2017. It's six months ago, and I'm just coming to terms with the loss, but eventually I will adopt a rescue again.
@@SoulDevoured , it's nine month's now, but I still couldn't bring myself to adopt another dog. The loss affected me so badly and I just couldn't go through that again. As you said, another dog could just come along and that's exactly what happened when I rescued last time. Thank you so much! X
Paige, Sorry for your lost, I know how that feels 😔. We lost our 3 dogs in one summer, was so hard to adopt after, but time helps and our 2 new rescuers take our sadness away, and make us think about the happy moments we had with my others. When you're ready, I wish you find another good dog 😊
Not my story : “Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.” As they made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told the vet that they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience. The next day, the vet felt the familiar catch in his throat as Belker‘s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that the vet wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. They all sat together for a while after Belker’s Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that dogs’ lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, “I know why.” Startled, they all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned the vet. He had never heard a more comforting explanation. He says that it changed the way he will try and live. “People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life - like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right? Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay for as long as we do.” 🐾♥️🐾
Just kills my heart that he passed away he was so happy in his new home at least he died with people and animals that loved him. And how it inspired her to get a puppy I think everyone can learn something from this story
It's people like you who make a difference in these dogs life we appreciate you so much. Thank you VERY much for what you do. We are advocates for pitbulls and will ALWAYS be advocates until we can't do it anymore. We lost our Beloved pitbull Baby Girl to cancer last year, and my heart STILL aches for her. My 4 year old daughter still tells me mom, I miss Baby Girl. She was the best dog I've ever had.
I was at first so angry for Tad's initial condition, and his backstory. Then I was so sad again at the end, at this passing. But you gave him untold amounts of joy and fun for his time with you, and gave him back his soul. Your other dog family members showed their love with their grief but even more, Tad sent them more love and joy with Minnow. I believe that when animal souls pass, they will stay with us, and sometimes send us another soul (and watch over us) (happened to me with my kittie). So I believe that Tad's soul is jumping, running, communicating, playing with the pack even now. Your time with Tad and all your pitties was meant to be. Bless you in all you do. There are smiles all around looking down on you.
Mam I respect you for what you have been doing for Pitties🙏 every life matters and deserves a second chance at life 🐕🐈🐒 people like you inspire others🙏 stay blessed. Thanks The Dodo for this beautiful video🙏 RIP Tad😘🐕

Dear Jolene. I want to thank you and your family for your love and compassion you give so selflessly. You are amazing and a wonderful person, I wish that the world would have more people like you. It made me feel so sad for you and the other dogs when Tad passed. Then I feel so glad that Tad led you to another pup that needed to be rescued. Your whole "family is blessed!"
I so wasn’t expecting that. I forgot about the title.....So I’m walking through Walmart and just started 😭😭😭😭😭. Tad touched my heart within those few minutes. My heart aches to think of the abuse of animals. The prejudice against Pitts is unbelievable. I never knew of such until I subscribed to the DODO. I’m an owner myself and he brings me such joy💕💕💕I pray for those whom God has given hearts to rescue and love our furry friends. Love you guys💕💕💕God bless you all.
Thank you for showing Tad that there are great people out there who show love and hugs. He had awesome moments with your family and now he will always be your guardian angel who showed you another beautiful pup.
Tad is an amazing dog and this woman is a gift. Who the hell in their right mind takes a dog out of a shelter the makes their life a living hell. can you imagine? Tad, a loving and sweet dog wishing for a forever family to call his own waiting in a shelter. Weeks past and finally someone comes in and adopts him. Tad is so excited to have a home and a family to love him! He gets home only to find that this isn't what he expected. Those types of people (I'm not going to say 'Deserve hell' because no one truly deserves hell), I hope these types of people learn how to truly love something as special as a dog. God bless their souls.
That's so heartbreaking. But you can take comfort in knowing that while he was with you in his final months, he knew what happiness, love, friendship, and what it is to just be a dog was. You gave him that. ❤❤❤
I agree with most here... when you already posted Tad's story with his beginnings.... it is absolutely puzzling and confusing for us viewers to not know exactly WHY and HOW he died... like a story or movie without a proper ending ...
RIP Tad u dint deserve all that pain i hope ur in heaven with all the mistreated animals at least u ended ur life very good by making very good friends i never saw such a nice and playful and sweet pit bull like u ur the first pit bull im not afraid of
How this breed can be starved, sick, tortured or neglected is unbelievable! Pitties! You gave happiness to the babes last days. It's hard but you're right. There are more dogs out there!
This is such a heartbreaking video. I can't help but to cry learning that Tad died. Especially after you put in all that (successful) effort to show him acceptance and love. Man!!! Just thinking about that brings tears to my eyes. The flip-side though, is when you got that puppy. That made my heart so "doggone" happy that IT brought tears to my eyes!!!!
That is always the best way after losing a little friend. There’s untold thousands that need to be rescued, and all every one of them needs is just someone they can love.
It's so beautiful How people fight for a dog's wellbeing..... What will it take us to love other human beings half as much as a dog? Where is the love for people who are different in one way or another? We really need to check ourselves
My about to be 2 year old American Staffordshire red nose was a preme. I had pick of her and I fell in love ups and downs but she is about to be over 90 lbs and just loves life. I recently adopted a brother of hers as he was not able to be in the household he was in. Hes under weight and had a torn ligament in his back leg . He has gained over five pounds and puts weight on his hurt leg better each day ❤ meds are helping and hes apart of my family. My rescue mutt included there a trio. Have a heart be kind to the ones who can't speak. ♥Pityy love!
I cry almost every time I watch one of these. Animals are so amazing and ppl who care enough to give them lives they deserve are amazing as well. And I love pittes there just a breed no other.. there love runs so deep
So bittersweet. The love of an amazing animal is the best feeling ever. When you loose your best friend, you loose a small piece of your heart, then when you least expect it, you find love again.
Heart breaking losing a Pibble. I too lost two within a year of each other, In turn, I rescued two more to honor RJ & Denim. RIP Tad boy. You had an amazing mom to show you that all is not evil in the world to your kind.
So amazing Beautiful boy Tad got to know what having a loving forever family is, every animal deserves that.Such a beautiful story❤🐾 And the new Pup is absolutely adorable! Rest in peace sweet Tad❤🌈🐾
Jolene!! *ugh* This woman has such a BEAUTIFUL spirit, omg 😢😍 I'm so sad that Tad passed away - but, boy was he rescued by the right woman who had everything he needed, & then some - & he got to KNOW LOVE and JOY while he was here! You can see & hear (& feel!) how much Tad's passing broke her heart. Then, in true hero fashion, she picked herself up & rescued another puppy who needed her & her love, joy & peaceful, safe home. And, yes, what a way to honor sweet Tad. Well done Miss Jolene - you're a beautiful person & those puppies are so blessed to be yours! 👏💜😍🙏🐾✌
Run free, Tad! Smell the clean air, when you are thirsty, drink from cool, deep pools that have never been befouled by humans. Run on the paths in the woods, beneath the tall trees, paths that have nary a thorn, or roots to hurt your feet! Frolic in the high grass, playing with your new friends. Be at piece, brave boy! For the wonderful lady and her family, who took this poor sprite in when he needed hospice, I hope you know that you gave Tad a gift beyond price, you gave him love, and a home, and a family, and he lived in that warm, comforting glow for all of his days with you. Thank you for that! And thank you for being wise enough to know you needed Minnow to fill the empty space. Be well.
This is one of my concerns when these poor babies be adopted out of rescue centers to only go back into chaos and hell of mistreatment and abuse. Thank God for the ones who actually show and give them love.
Minnow looks just like my 11 week old staffie, Petunia Mae. Even just having her for such a short time, I can't imagine my life without her. My little miracle.
So hard losing a member of the family. Because as soon as you get them, they steal your entire heart, and not meaning to, they break our hearts. But it is so worth it. The love animals show. Us humans should pay attention.

I'm so glad Tad got to know love and happiness before he passed away. Thank you for rescuing these wonderful fur kids!

I'm so heartbroken about Tad. What happened to him? He seemed so happy enjoying his new family. 😢
Thank you for rescuing him.
I love you dodo❤️❤️❤️❤️
So bittersweet. The love of an amazing animal is the best feeling ever. When you loose your best friend, you loose a small piece of your heart, then when you least expect it, you find love again.
She explained very well how Tad passed.... Wait not she didn't. Thank you
Heart breaking losing a Pibble. I too lost two within a year of each other, In turn, I rescued two more to honor RJ & Denim. RIP Tad boy. You had an amazing mom to show you that all is not evil in the world to your kind.
God sees every sparrow that falls and every pitbull saved! God bless you and your loved ones!
Charlie Bugout woooooow that just made cry again. 😢

Stray Dragon 😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
My brother has a Pittie. His name is Khlue. It’s so sad when dogs die but you know they lived a good life. Love the Dodo ❤️
Awwww so cute
*BLOODY CUTE!*
Lovely to see how he experienced love at the end of his life, thank goodness for kind people like you lol
We luv you Dodo!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

puppy girl dalmation Me too!!

Be well.
💕💕💕💕💕this is what loving and caring is 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕😍😍😊
This is one of my concerns when these poor babies be adopted out of rescue centers to only go back into chaos and hell of mistreatment and abuse. Thank God for the ones who actually show and give them love.
That's the right reaction.
Minnow looks just like my 11 week old staffie, Petunia Mae.
Even just having her for such a short time, I can't imagine my life without her.
My little miracle.
I love it sooo cute
So hard losing a member of the family. Because as soon as you get them, they steal your entire heart, and not meaning to, they break our hearts. But it is so worth it. The love animals show. Us humans should pay attention.
Awwwww cute❤
It's heart warming to know that he knew there was love and kindness out there for him and he found it to the very end. Thank you for giving him that.
Poor Tad. RIP
I wish every dog that has had bad experiences finds new owners like this woman. 💕
So cute ❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘😍😍😍😍
