- I bought a new motorcycle! Here's a complete breakdown of the build specs, including all the upgrades I've done to my 2023 Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST Softail to make it my new touring motorcycle, plus luggage and accessories and future plans with the bike.

Congrats! That's a badass bike. As much time as you spend in the saddle, it is a must to make it the way you want it. It's great that you know what you want.
You are spot-on for not wanting a paint job that makes you stand out. Smart move.
Plus...black never goes out of style. You seem to have your shit together; a rare thing in most people today. Ride safe.
For a headlight upgrade: look into the MOONS Fly Eye V2. I put it on my ST and it's bright as hell. Also, allows you to get rid of your turn signals since it has it integrated into the headlight

Congrats on a very nice new bike. I wasn’t aware that you had so many problems with your Dyna! That’s really unfortunate. I’ve had 3 new Harleys, 2 Road Kings and a Road Glide, since 1999. I kept all of them for around 65k or so and had basically zero problems. Hope you’re as fortunate with your new bike. Nice job accessorizing it too! Looking forward to seeing your touring videos with it…
I love my calendar. So happy you were able to get some new wheels. Great looking bike. Can not wait to see where it takes you. Those K591 Dunlops with the R compand are amazing. So sticky but they would melt away so fast.

Man, them softail lowriders have grown on me hard! Really like a modern day fxr especially with all the hate when they first came out. I would build very much like this as well. You get so much motor vs twin cams etc. Out of the box and the tech. Great upgrade!

Ok, new bike. It's a beauty! Warranty, Sure I understand. The last thing you need is to add to the list of work that you already have by keeping/repairing a bike that's out of extended warranty. You make great motorcycle travel content. You keep making it and I'll keep watching it.

Great choice. I picked up a ‘23 ST in January and I love it. I don’t plan on doing much engine work either. I’ve got a 2-1 Exhaust from SPB Fab(HPI lead time was too long for my liking) and the Screamin’ eagle tuner. Mine doesn’t have traction control so no issue with that from the tuner. I’m pretty content with the stock ergonomics so I don’t need to change anything with that but probably will do some short pullback risers eventually. The brake upgrade sounds like a smart idea, especially for the rear brake. 8” Klockwerks screen and Edward Ritchie sissy bar are also likely additions in the near future.
Nice! The 8” shield is *officially* available by the way! Just checked it today! We fitted the prototype on my bike a couple of months ago, so I knew it was on the way. 😂🤙
There is a lot of good information in that video. I'm truly impressed with the thought you put into setting your bike up. Now I don't feel as crazy for planning the set up of mine so much.

I just test rode the Low Rider ST again today and I think both my Sportster S and Versys X-300 are both getting sold or traded in. Man, the LRST is so much fun to ride, so comfy too. 👍🏾

I just bought a new breakout. Painting it black and blacking out the chrome with gold accents. Got the stainless pipes similar to yours but different company. Can't wait to see the end result. Love the look of the bike.
