Solo Motorcycle Trip to DEATH VALLEY! (Dante's View, Lake Manly, Beatty, and more!)

- Death Valley is a vast and arid region of the Mojave Desert, located in Eastern California and parts of Nevada. Known for its extreme temperatures, it holds the record for the highest recorded temperature on Earth. The landscape features salt flats, sand dunes, rugged mountains, and unique geological formations, making it a harsh yet fascinating environment for visitors. Today we're exploring the National Park and checking out a few of the "must-do" items for my first trip to Death Valley, including a stop in Beatty Nevada for some BBQ!
I'm riding a 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide in this video. Over 4 days I got to put 1,500 miles on this new touring bike. You can watch my review video here: • Road Trip Tested: 1,50...

Harley should hire you as one of their official brand ambassadors. I hope they sponsor more videos in the future because you make their bikes look cool.
Haha thank you! It’d be a dream to be on the payroll. 🤘🏍️💨
I was going to say the same thing-that GAL. loves her usa freedom.
I just bought a 24 CVO RG in legendary orange, but I live in WI and the roads have salt right now! Can't wait to break it in once the weather permits. Just found you, loved this video, glad you liked the road glide. My wife and daughter earned their motorcycle endorsement last year. I LOVE that my girls are riding Harley's. It scares the be-jesus out of me, but I'm adjusting as they are very capable. Ride safe! I'll be sharing this channel with them.
Thanks for the preveiw of death valley areas, my dad took us 6 kids out west west in 1971 from MICHIGAN,after he found a new wife, since my mom devoriced him 7 years earlyer. WELL any way we went through navada desert in the northern portion or it, and went through colorado, wyoming, lots of national parks along the way, and small towns from the old west ,that remained open as attractions, i would recomend traveling around that area through the mountains and valleys, TOO, it was biuttifull country when you get more time.
been through colorado and wyoming more times than I can count lol
Michigan 🫡
Cool video, Staci! Always stoked when I see you have a new one. Thank you for the cool insight of that area, it’s officially added to my bucket list 🤘🏽
Had to watch this video again after staying 4 nights in Death Valley. I can now say I've been to all those sites except for Smoking J's in Beatty. I did go to Beatty to get some supplies but missed out on Smoking J's. Oh well, will just have to make the trip again for the BBQ.
Great video! Yet another place to add to my "bucket list of rides to do". Thanks for the heads-up on the permit too. Didn't know about that. Hopefully, I'll be able to pass through there in April. Looking forward to trying some new BBQ ;-)
Beautiful video and scenery! Thanks for sharing!
Super interesting ride. Death Valley looks amazing Thanks for sharing. Ride Safe
As usual, it was worth waiting for the new video. 😁👍. Greetings from Poland.
Omg love it!!! Can’t wait to motorcycle thru DV!!! Thank you for sharing🤍🤍🤍
What a cool little trip! No matter the temperature, sometimes we need to get on 2 wheels and go see some sights! Also, having proper lighting on a bike is imperative to feeling comfortable in the darkness. Thanks for taking us along. Cheers!
That was fun! Say hi to the ladies and I hope the weather holds up for you in PHX. It's been kind of rainy over there. Thanks for sharing!
Vacationed in Las Vegas and we toured through Red Rock Canyon one year in February. It was amazing. Visited Death Valley in the summer while working for an OEM car/truck Manufacturer performing durability / Powertrain Calibration testing. We drove the vehicles up to Dantes overlook, mostly because of the steep climb difference from the floor (below sea level) to the top, as a test. A beautiful site to see. The video invoked my memories. Casino Hotel/Flight/car rental package Rates make a vacation trip softer on the wallet. Excellent Video. spectacular scenery shots and film. Excellent cool😎
Thank you so much for another amazing video. You are living the dream and I look forward to everything you put out. Keep it up and ride safe!!
Thank you for the kind words! 🤘
Thank you for another great video! You have inspired me to take my third Death Valley bike trip! I will definitely check out Dante's View this time, thanks for that info. My mouth is watering from watching you eat at Smokin J's, that place is so good! You really need to take another trip out there so you can check out Rylolite. Harley is sure pushing the new 24's with all of the influencers posting videos. It is awesome that they flew you out for that experience, I am glad your success is paying dividends with that kind of recognition. I look forward to hearing your review since you are one that is down to earth and honest. Ride Safe!.
As always, another superb video, very informative, very entertaining, very well crafted...Thanks for all you do to make great motorcycle travel videos, much appreciated by this oldster on two wheels!
Thanks Dennis!
Very cool! I just saw a snippet of the Lake Manly phenomenon going on right now. It had gotten to a couple feet of depth, but is now a few inches, and photographers are flocking to it to catch reflections of the snowcapped mountains. I instantly checked the distance to there since I'd never been..........a bit too far for my next days off. Well done, and nice catch!
Amazing video! Keep doing amazing videos like that and hit the roads!
That's the plan!
Loving the content as usual 🙌 thanks for taking us along!
Thanks Chris!!
And as always another great video look's like a good time
As I am cooking late, breakfast ,ride to food is perfect. Thanks for sharing your videos.

The man knows his Mac n cheese spots I tell you what 😂🤘🧀
@ridetofood If I ever run into him again, I'll be sure to ask for a Mac & Cheese recommendation. 🤘🤣
I don't see all your videos but I absolutely loved the video. The quality of the video and how well it was arranged, was great. Truly enjoyable.
Thank you! You can check out more by heading over to the channel! (Just tap my username and it’ll take ya there) 🤘
Always worth the wait x 2! And yum, can’t go wrong with spicy Mac n meat!!
My wife and I were just out there last weekend. We went to Dante's Peak and Artist's Pallet. We didn't get to Badwater, but now I wish we did. Great video.
y'all will have to try and make it back out there before the summer temps arrive! glad y'all enjoyed it! :)
Another great video. I’m a fan.
I love your videos! Glad you are getting off road! They do make smaller bikes that are less intimidating and are more confidence inspiring... Be safe, enjoy!!! Thank you!
lol yes, I’m aware other motorcycles exist. I’ve been looking for a while. 😂🤘
@@ridetofood Just keep doing it !! Your good! You know they all say smaller is better....for offroad adventures
Another great piece. Smokin part of the US to check out. Love the production value of this video. A lot of great shots captured. Keep the amazing content coming!

Awesome video! Death Valley looked amazing… hoping you can make it back for more video of the park.
ill definitely be back out there at some point in the next couple of years! gonna wait until more of the backcountry routes reopen!
I really enjoy the videos you make when you just ride... and camp :) you, of course, are young and beautiful, but I just enjoy watching your passion for riding! This one cracked me up when you started hiking to a view point but then quickly changed your mind when there were too many people! I have done that countless times! I'm sure I'm missing something but I don't care, just would rather ride than deal with people! Lol. Good job!
Hahaha, thank you!
you & your cold weather rideing..lolll...lm 1800 miles into my road trip.. down here in Vic now & yep l got a cold cause it way colder than QLD... great vid awrsom ride.. cheers mate

Thank you!
The color of the bike your riding is beautiful love the green! Glad you moto vlogers get to test ride the new bikes love your content!
LOVE the alpine green!
Great videos as always!👍
Thank ya!!
I love death valley. I have been there 3 times. All 3 times in April and on 2 wheels. I haven't even seen all the cool things there. Now that I live on the east coast it will be harder to see again for me. Thanks for making this video. Fwiw in 2019 when I was at badwater basin, it rained on us. I remember the wind being so hard that day that we were all leaning to ride straight lol. The rain that day evaporated as soon as it hit the ground. So many good memories for me in that area, around California and Nevada, staying in Las Vegas, and it's worth it to make the run to Oatman Arizona if you have the time
Rhyolite is cool. Worth the stop.
And smoking js, food was like 5/10 when we ate there in 2023. The big guy at the counter was very rude to my niece whenever we stopped there. I'll never give them another dollar. I'm glad you had a good experience though.
Oatman is pretty cool! I went there on the Blue PanAm in 2022, but that video isn't out yet lol! All the donkeys! haha. Definitely gonna be checking out rhyolite next time! Bummer about the experience - totally get it!
@@ridetofood I can't wait to see it when it comes out.
@@ridetofood Oatman road; hills, twisties, tar snakes and no lights at night. Your headlight is no good when it shines over the side of the cliff.
Top notch quality videos as always. Greetings from Germany 👏👏👏
Thank you! 😊
Awesome ride and nice bike sweet got to ride to death vally ride safe as always
I love the color of that bike. Looks like same as my bike deep Jade Pearl green. So pretty when it’s all clean and polished up.
Hola simpática, me ha gustado el vídeo los paisajes el manjar que te has comido y sobre todo el color verde de tú Harley. Asta tú próximo video. Salud y mucha moto.❤
Thank you! 😊
Nice vid.Bell RSD helmet is top👍👌
Ain’t it badass?! 🔥 thanks for watching!!
When you were in Beatty you were over the road from an amazing little place called Happy Burro chilli & beer! Must go if you’re ever there again.
I was supposed to go there before dinner but I was hungry and decided to save it for another trip lol
Loving your videos
Consistently my favorite TH-cam channel! Loved it!
Thank you! :)
@@ridetofood Next time your in Arkansas you have to check out the 100s of waterfalls. I can direct you to some good eating places as well. Ride Safe.
Nice video! Love the color of the bike!,
thank you! that alpine green is purdy!
Watching From Los Angeles California, Enjoyed the video !
Sweet! Thank you!
Great scenery!
Hi Staci, you are looking fabulous and "SOLO." MY HERO👌💨 but wow, so clear blue skies. Sharing your adventure with us is always a big
5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 with me. So Death Valley is the Hottest spot I the world. Looks like a different plant. The bike you were riding on was so smooth looking. There is lots of go power, that is alright. Jalapeño on a bike🥺😳🥵. Go baby, go💨. TUFF TUFF, woowee😊.
Happy Trails and Harley Davidson is really lucky to have. I agree about you being a hired spokeswoman. There you go❤
Keep smiling, my dear.🥰
Hug from the California Goose 😂
thank you goose!
Sorry if I miss spell here and there. I just get all caught up in thoughts and forget to spell check. But girl.. you is my Hero👍💪🙋♀️
Nice review keep up the good work hun
thank ya!
It's a 100 year flood How high is the the water Ms.Staci - it's 5 inches and dropping. That looked like a great long day trip.💯✌️🤟🤘
haha I see what you did there!!!
Glad you got to catch those views and some grub on some Smokin' J's!! That's how it's done 😎
THAT MAC THOOOOOO!!
Hi Staci I am new to your channel What an Awesome Beautiful. Amazing Scenery 😊
Thank you!
Very lovely views 👍
Indeed! Thanks for watching!
Your videos haven't been showing up on my front page lately so I've not seen your vids for ages. So glad this one popped up and now I'm wishing I could ride my motorbike - been benched since October following breaking my wrist in a motorbike crash. :(
Oh dang! Well luckily there’s some videos you missed that will keep ya held over until your next riding season starts! And more are on the way! 😊
풍경이 너무나 아름답습니다.
Very beautiful^~^
That Green RG looks Stunning at the 4th sec of the video :)
Alpine green 🤘🔥
Girl there is no way I would have taken my boots off to dip my toes in that water lol respect and gold star friend. ⭐ I so enjoyed this while I'm chained to my computer this winter
Hahaha I lugged my bedrocks all the way across the country for this moment 😂😂😂🖤
Seeing the plate at the onset of the video, it reminded me to ask if you have been to Delauder's BBQ in Gatlinburg, TN? I'm from central NC, and enjoy the BBQ battles between the different sides of the state, but Delauder's is perhaps the best BBQ I've ever had.
Never been! I honestly try to avoid Gatlinburg when I’m in the smokies. It’s a little too people-y for me 😂
it definitely draws a crowd. it's on the edge of town, nowhere near main st. And it doesn't look like much, let alone a restaurant, from the outside. but it's worth trying. @@ridetofood
The best red rock ride is the one I found by accident, south of Las Vegas through the Canyon of Fire Nevada State Park! The coolest things to see in Death valley is the walking Rocks.
Epic ride! I need to get out west.
Yes ya do!!!
I would love to meet you!!! Be safe out there!!!
Thank you!
Ha, ha,😂 it's too "peoplely", head back to the bike!😂 yeah, gotta agree with you there. Great looking sled!
“I want to be where the people aren’t” 🎶 or whatever the little mermaid said 😂🧜♀️
Next time spend the night at the Aramagosa Opera House! Not only is it haunted, it has the old opera house to check out. No gas or food though. Great photo op. Stateline Nevada is another 7 miles for gas / food. It's located where the 190 & 127 meet. Cool place. There is also Zabriski Point for a look see.
I passed it going in to DV! I think it’s closed from the floods. Not sure
Never been to death valley. But I would love to go one day soon
Those views look amazing! Looks unreal. I commented too early... that banana pudding 🤤
Haha the nana puddin SLAPPED! 🤘
@@ridetofood OMG! I started typing nana puddin but then deleted cuz I thought you'd think that was weird. 🤣 Ya just got even cooler. 👍🏽 Safe travels, Stac. 🙂
❤❤Another fantastic video❤❤
It would be a blast to ride with you... especially for the food stops.
🤘😎
Great video as always. You have a great screen presence and you are a natural in front of a camera. As a fellow biker, I salute you. BTW....I think I'm in love with you. 😛
lol thank you
Great video! You do get some really amazing photography! You’re have an awesome eye for composition! So cool that Harley offered you the bike for a week, nice that you’re getting some recognition for the quality of your channel and character! Did you happen to use any of bike’s infotainment features like navigation or music? I used to have a 14 SGS, but I found that for me having all my audio (music, nav and phone) streaming to my helmet much better and easier to hear than having it blast through the bike’s speakers! Eventually I traded in the SGS for a 21 RKS to get back to open space riding. I’m curious to know what your thoughts on the subject. Thanks
I actually never turned the radio on. Oopsie! hahahaha. I am a very "bare bones" tech type of person and I need to be walked through how to use it all like a Kindergartener in order to figure it out. Unfortunately I didn't have time for all of that so I opted to just focus on riding rather than figuring out "mission control" as I like to call it. I just used my Rokform phone mount and used my phone for navigation when I needed it and used my Lexin headset to jam music!
@@ridetofood I kinda figured that might have been the case based on your other bikes that I've seen you ride. I've become a "bare bones" rider also when it comes to the tech, well as bare as the bluetooth between my phone and Sena works! Thanks for replying.
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
Stacy definitely gets in some great adventures. Good for her I say 😊
Thank ya!
Hi Staci the food is Awesome Amazing mmmmm so Good 😊
after watching this I had to phone for some food lol. would love to go to ride though death valley on a big ass cruiser. looks so nice and them views.....
It’s definitely worth visiting! I’d go back. Just not in the middle of the summer 😂
Road from LV to Caliente on Highway 168 to Highway 93. Great ride on my new Moto Guzzi ADV. Beautiful but cold at times.
Hey Staci, more great stuff as usual. Did you get to ride the Valley of Fire while in the Vegas area? Not huge but pretty cool. I’ve got my eye on the pearl white 2024 Road Glide. They did a lot of great changes. Keep doin you girl. Always love watching your work. Thanks
I was supposed to go to VOF but the weather didn’t allow for it (to be enjoyable lol!) I’ll get there one of these days.
Glad you enjoyed it! I agree - the new touring bikes are pretty nice! Always great to see updates and upgrades
Death Valley is epic. 👏👏👏
so weird yet so cool!!!
Man it must be nice! ❤
Yes I love my job!
plan on going through Death Valley the first week of June, looking forward to it, plan on early morning start from China Lake.

Food looked amazing
That mac 🔥
Hey Staci, another nice video as you know how to do them so well with beautiful landscapes.
Did you sell the Low Rider ST? and how is the new Road Glide ?
Greetings from France.
Nope, still have the ST! I explained the road glide scenario in the video. Full review coming after the road trip series is published! 😊
That RSD helmet is siiiiiiiick
It’s the new RSD X Bell Race Star! 🔥
Safe trip beautiful places to see
it was a good one!
I live local to the area next time you're out we can show you some more fun rides and good spots to eat at.
🤘
I love the color of the loaner bike.
Alpine Green!!! Same. Its purdy!
I've don't something similar. Except I was with a group. 360 miles round trip from Sacramento, to Bodega bay, to the Golden gate bridge & back.
hope y'all got crab sammies at spud point crab co in bodega! :)
@@ridetofood I remember finding a place to eat. I had some keto tacos. Lol.
Very nice video. Do you have a video of your camera gear and accessories. Thanks.
Thank you! No but you can read about it in the video description as well as at RideToFood.com/camera-gear
Looks like my back yard. I'm outside Kingman, AZ, 20 miles from Nevada.
Sweet!
