Great video, love to see Oshimi content! Glad to see you giving respect to Inside Mari. Yutai Nova is my favorite of his early work (although it got canceled so the ending is very rushed), so it’s a shame it’s not physically available in English yet.

I'm kind of glad more of his works are being printed in english, even if some of his earlier stuff isn't as great. Definitely one of my favourite authors, I think him and Inio Asano are the only two mangaka that really nail this genre of manga

It's a shame a lot of his works aren't printed enough.
I want to read Blood ok the Tracks but some of the volumes are hard to come by.
I loved Flowers of Evil and Alice gives a similar vibe.

Just kidding, I agree the artwork is amazing. There was a straight year where I had panels from it as my phone background. Also hot take: I feel like Flowers of Evil is on the weaker side of his major publications but it's as popular as it is because it was his first big hit. Welcome Back Alice is almost the same story beat for beat and is much better imo.
Also, Mitani is a bitch.

I agree that Welcome Back Alice has the potential to do what Flowers of Evil did but better. That said, I read FOE first so for me it’l always be his best work. Also the top 4 spots were very close 😂
