Hi there fella perfect video I already have my maf and body cleaner ready may I ask dud you do this cause you had idling issues? Or just to improve performance etc? Or general maintenence. I've had a few bits done to my car 1x new rad 1x Injector (I think old one was fine but diagnostic threw it at 1 point no other time ) recent coolant sensor and new thermostat and of course coolant. The last 2 items done only days ago I was having rough idle intermittently some days none at all It briefly happened on returning home only Saturday but nothing since and as there are no codes or engine lights I'm thinking these could help ?? our 2013 Mazda CX 5 had a delayed acceleration issue, Mazda has put in new transmission, cleaned throttle body and done 2 updates to the computer. We still have the same issue..............any ideas?
Based on my research as i am also driving a 2015 mazda cx-5 gt, mazda cx-5 have a little bit hesitation on take off compared to other brand of cars. It is probably with the engine design.
I know these responses are very dated but I also am experiencing poor initial acceleration in my 2013 mazda cx5 2.0 from a stop and in cruising speeds. I have to floor it to wake it up. Ive installed a new battery, new spark plugs, cleaned the MAF sensor, and poured a bottle of sea foam fuel tank treatment into it. Still hesitates like its pulling a heavy trailer. Any advice yall? Oh and btw, it has 181000 miles on it.
What should be the output voltage of the air flow meter at idle

That wasnt maf cleaning that was IAT wire cleaning
Maf wire is hidden inside the plastic cover with these models
Good video ,,, I believe if you have some one step on the gas pedal it keep the throttle open.

Lyna Moriarty my wife's cx5 has the same issue. I think it relates to the sky active technology that Mazda developed for these vehicles.

Can you use mass airflow cleaner on the throttle body?
