would love one of these. so cool. manual or semi auto. great stem. don't mind the look of the black plastic. some bits look a little cheap. but if it makes great coffee that is all that matters. that plastic handle will snap. i saw it snap on another video. got scale a ionn thingy for fluffy cofffee. gteat video.

I'm more interested with a version that has no grinder.
built in grinders are not a good long term investement.
I was very interested in this, and would have been the first to buy it, but it looks like the grinder is stepped which makes it a no from me unfortunately.
So many haters... they hated breville before too... excuse me while I laugh a minute 😂😂

About 5-8 minutes. I'll test it more for the first look video
GCP with modes and experience is a way much better choice. To drink and enjoy coffee you must learn how to make it at first. AI is not gonna make it for you. No matter how much you pay for it. Dual boiler, single boiler, it only matters whether you brew for yourself or the coffee shop. Rotary pump, vibration pump it doesn't matter. Both do the same job. The only advantage I can see in this machine is the steam for milk frothing vs GCP, but along with the experience I learned tricks to get latte close to the barista level. I enjoy GCP and would not change a sturdy, well made, SS body machine to a plastic piece of crap with aluminium drip tray. Well every one has it's own choice. I was impressed with meraki at the first glance, but I would like to see Lance opinion on it before I make my mind. Thanks for the presentation, but you have a very little knowledge or less in good coffee brewing. Best Regards
Early bird price is pretty pointless, why even mention it, the price will be $1800 according to certain sources, that's 3 times more expensive than a BBE!
$1800 gets you a lelit mara x and a Eureka Mignon Specialita/Df64 gen 2 in europe.
I haven’t heard them say anything about the price being 1800 yet, however - considering that the lelit Elizabeth (dual boiler with similar sized boilers) is about 1700 and doesn’t use a rotary pump or offer a grinder, scales etc - 1800 still sounds solid for what this machine is trying to do
It's worth mentioning because you will actually be able to grab it at that price for a while. Why would it not be mentioned?
