Honestly, this plane is a little overpowered, and could do with a bit of an acceleration nerf, it simply destroys fools, i need to go play this thing again
This was a jet, for me at least, that didn't take a whole lot of practice. I adapted the same style of play from the 109 model of aircraft into the turbine style of aircraft. The main change was the size of the maneuvers, but over all the maneuvers stayed the same. This jet supports an energy fighting style very well, from my personal experience. I did also watch several videos on how to fly jets, the P80 and the 262 alike. I had a decent knowledge on how to fly one, just not the experience.
Prop climbing is based on excess horsepower at certain speeds, because horsepower is not an accurate measurement for jets you kinda have to throw that thinking out the window. Pound force of thrust is how you measure jet power, and that follows a linear function, whereas horsepower for props follows a square root function. So basically for jets higher speed=more air intake through the engine=more power, whereas props lose a lot of climb efficiency waiting to get to their higher speed before tipping the nose up to climb. Whatever speed has the greatest thrust vs drag will be your ideal climb speed

Been grinding forever it feels like just to get this thing. Been playing a few months and finally unlocked the f80 and I tell ya what I love this thing soo much.
Can you make a review The Re.2005 it’s a cool historic plane that could’ve been a monster for the allied forces in ww2!
I’ve been trying to tell people this plane is good for years!

Have patience, first wait 20 minutes for 6.7 air assault with a stock F-80A-5 sack of shit, 4 losses in a row after.
Inside my head: "AAAAAAHH x 999 billion"
Without premium it takes like 1-2 games to get an upgrade? wtf are you doing to make it take 30-40 games?
How did you turn on the after burner of this jet
This is gonna be my first jet i have like 50k more to research.
You promised a video on the He-162
Maybe you can do the Me 163 next as it’s pretty much a starter jet for Germany
