YOU FINALLY MADE A VIDEO BOUT THEM !!! I have one myself and let me tell you They are THE MOST underrated species out there from the color change to how they look like mini anacondas
I forgot to add the color change in my script for the video!😓 they are amazing snakes and during the course of research I found there are quite a few snakes that change color
@@JzsReptiles yes indeed the candoia species in general changes color From what I been seeing from my snakes they change color due to the humidity and whether how high it is or how low When they are in dark phase it has to due with a higher amount and when they have a dull color it usually means that humidity levels has dropped On my channel I explain it a lil better if you wanna check it out
I got my viper boa from nerd captive bred I have her on soil she was in a breeding rack so when I put her on soil it was different to her she freaked for the first 2 minutes then instinct took in an she loves it I am wanting to go bio active with her enclosure so I think im gonna put a couple plants in her tank an see what I can do
@JzsReptiles unfortunately 1 of them died. But the other is thriving. The 1 that died refused to eat. Was really bummed when I came home from work to find it dead. But really happy to see the 2nd one thriving and eating.
My buddy and I were playing with one, seeing who'd get tagged first by trying to take it out, and put it back into the vivarium. I never was tagged, but he got nailed about five times.
Awesome video. I have 2 VBs. I love them. Such cool snakes. Recently someone produced a few Albino VBs! I cant wait to see more of them.
Love this video. Recently saw one at a pet shop and really wanted it but knew nothing about it. Really interesting snake!

Just picked up 2 of these guys. Went to a expo dead set on getting another ball python. Seen these guys and it changed my mind.
Nice! Great species

@@JzsReptilesI also want to note. That my viper boa literally stays in its water bowl 24/7.
I bet this is the closest thing to having a venomous snake
Yea probably there is a few more like the vine snake hognose false water Cobra but my fav fake venomous snake is the eastern indigo snake
@@erikglaze18why would an indigo be a fake venomous they aren’t even rear ranged?
@@jennagove5757 because there not venomous but they look venomous
Jungle Carpet Python
Impressive head on those snakes. But, I'll just roll with the blood pythons but 2' is a game changer....IMO
As it happens, there's an old Japanese legend of a snake that looks exactly like the Viper Boa. They call it "tsuchinoko".
Yeah! I’ve heard about that one too.
@@JzsReptiles I've got a running theory that maybe it could've been either a Blue Tongue Skink, a Viper Boa, or a type of Short-tail Python.
Muy exotica
That's cool I didn't know lil Romeo was into snakes
Boas have a snout where vipers have a broader flatter face
That dark brown one is gorgeous. I LOVE it!
It’s actually all the same snake in the videos. Super calm very relaxed animal most of the time according my friend
Nahhhh how can a Nope Noddle be a Boop Noddle at the same time???!
Looks like a dumerils boa head shape
When you say "smaller tank" is a 50 gallon too small?
I do t think so
I got the same girl in the thumb nail

My dad ken foose was IHS president for a while but he passed away 2yrs ago 😢
