cudos to the instructor for his patience, wow, how about real tires? Finally an instructor that teaches NOT to feather the throttle! Constant throttle and speed works the best when off roading.
A couple people have asked although it's in the description At the end the Patrol was drowned (only 3000km on odo) due to bad timing / speed, the bow wave was on it's return and swamped it. Only the Disco and Pathfinder did the last obstacle, it was deep. The cruiser decided not to chance it. The Patrol was fixed by removing the glow plugs, cranking until no more water shot out. It runs fine to this day. It now has done many many 1000's of km through Africa kitted out.

Your taking brilliant off road vehicles and using the wrong tires all together , the right tires on these and they will plow through this course with ease .
We had R18", we asked land rover to replace them with 17" so that there's less shock and more rubber for rough roads. You will have to check your disc diameter to see if these will fit.
Low range in mud...WTF!!! Mud = momentum and working the steering wheel.....have any of these people driven in 4wd before? Too frustrating to watch. I did enjoy the dog though. Four paw drive........
On which car? The Disco was running muds (Yokohama). The pathfinder (Pirelli) and cruiser (Bridgestone) were both running all terrains. Far from city slicker tyres...clay however can make it look that way. Heck I've seen tractors stuck out there...
Toyota perform worst just because wrong tire and no traction control system in land cruiser 70 otherwise whole world knows land cruiser 70 is ultimate off-road machine.
It sounds like your giving some sort of 4WD instruction on how to drive "off road" and there's a young child sitting on the roof of the car whilst been taught? You should be banned for life for allowing those actions to take place, and you give decent 4WD'er's a bad name!

I got a mk11 Suzuki GV. Been on 2 lanes near me and a pay and play. did very well for my wopping 200mm ground clearance

Use the terms DRIVER & PASSENGER when giving directions it is less confusing to all parties
From a safety point of view...how do you allow a kid on top of the LC's roof while off-road🤦🤦

Low gear would be fine if we play with manual..we could use 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear. As low as possible..as fast as necessary.

Landcruiser was running Bridgestone Dueler AT's (All Terrain).

Obviously novice offroad drivers. If you need a spotter for stuff like that, go home and take a bus.
Not everyone likes racing through obstacles and denting their cars or ruining them. Keep in mind many people use the daily drivers for fun like this.
