So funny that you commented on the shepherd's pie being something we can make at home because I was watching that whole segment, being hugely reminded of my childhood. My dad was the manager of my uncle's Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant so we enjoyed the perk of lots of leftover curries when he came home at the end of the week. We'd dump a curry into a dish, top it with creamy mash, shove it into the oven and herald it as this beacon of British Asian fusion food! 🤣 Another amazing video, Gary, and you have firmly taken the spot of my absolute favourite food review channel on TH-cam! 💕

Hi Gary, Nice presentation, I liked the dishes. Good value at that price. Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Alan 😊
Gary, you could make a soft boiled egg and soldiers look interesting. That was a bit of a mixture but yet again you've come up with something a bit out of the ordinary, and for that thank you.
Brilliant video Gary. The fusion items on the menu make me think 'just because you can do it doesn't mean you should'. I'm a sucker for a good butter chicken so I would go here just for that!
Nice Gary 😊 Butter chicken looked great the shine was mad. Worth another review at some point to try something else and maybe get the butter chicken as a take out for later on!
I must say the food looked amazing when it cam out. Vibrant colour. So inventive too. It's a shame that they didn't quite hit the "best I've ever had" mark but still worthy of a "anyway, let's give it a go" ! Definitely one out of the box.
It's a pity about the shepherd's pie and the tikka naan bread but everything else sounds absolutely dreamy. Particularly the chocolate moose. Goodness that sounded like it was absolute heaven.😊
Thanks for the review Gary. May I make one suggestion? Next time you’re having a North Indian meal, if you’re having a curry with gravy (like the chicken makhni here) - because the gravy makes the dish heavy, eat it with a light bread such as a roomali roti. Conversely, if you’re having a dish with little or no gravy, eg tandoori or even bhuna gosht, you could have a heavier bread such as a garlic naan, or my favourite- pudina paratha or lachha paratha. It’s all about balance.
A mixed bag for sure. But the nutmeg ice cream would've won me! Fresh nutmeg is a whole different beast to the ready ground stuff most use. I only buy the whole nutmegs now and use a microplane to enhance dishes with its unique warmth! I think you gave a fair score and again, a brilliant review! Thanks guys! xx
Hi Gary! This was an interesting restaurant to review & with a unique menu. The butter chicken was a massive highlight. Minced lamb, chunks of lamb (though sparse) topped with potato and peas. It looked very dry - more sauce would have helped, It just doesn't work for me. I am so sorry it’s late getting back to you, Sharon, this was a very mixed bag, if I was doing it just on the chicken dish the mark would’ve been not far off of 10 however taking everything into consideration the price the portion size and the quality of the naan and the shepherds pie it had to be marked down, however, I do like the fact they are trying to do something a bit different, I hope you have a wonderful weekend xx

The butter chicken looked great, and you were happy with it. An Indian shepherds pie is a no-no for me. I agree that a simple naan would have been the better choice. The sweet looked delicious. Thank you very much for taking us along. It is much appreciated.
The dishes all look microwaved…. 😮 You can see that on the edges of the meals in the bowls. I hate microwaved heated dishes! I’m a home care nurse and I see meals that need to be heated up in the microwave that look better. And they cost less than 5 euros…
Great video as always! We make lamb keema shepherds pie at home, minced lamb, Indian spices, carrots and peas, serve with yoghurt (I do wife doesn’t). Amazing, and get the minced lamb from Lidl, same fat ratio, far cheaper than other places. It’s basically a fusion of traditional shepherds pie, & Indian food with a kick. Goes great with green beans, cauliflower, any other veg

£50 seemed a little steep tbh. I know it would’ve fed 2, but I think there’s much better value elsewhere
Hmmm I think the quality doesn't reflect the price
My favourite game. Musical chairs 👍
A bit annoying Philip when you're trying to eat lol!!
Excellent review once again 👏
Thank you very much
As a Londoner living overseas I eat a lot of Indian food. But nothing quite like this! Definitely worth a visit when I am next in UK. Great video 👍
Thank you very much. That’s great to hear.
A keema curry cottage pie is delicious 😋
That’s great to hear, Gillian
Honestly it looked underwhelming.
There are so many better Indian restaurants in London.
About time we saw the camera man 😂Tell him it doesn’t matter if you’ve got one eye in his forehead he won’t be judged 😂👍the old man in 😂Stoke👍
And, some of the 'BREADS' are NOT cheap.. A NANN bread for £4.50 (for a couple, having one each thats' £9.00 added to the bill PLUS service charge on top - DUH!?) - OR a Peshawari NANN (my usual 'go to') at £6.50 (each) - soon ADDS UP at £13.00 for a couple of 'side breads' !? 🤔
I think you could be completely right, Chris, but I like the fact they are trying something different
Keep yer horn for yer wife we used to say as kids 🤪🤣🤪😅
Lol!!
😂😂
Gary, your fantastic incitive reviews continue to entertain, your personality shines through every time.
Thank you very much, Adam
Gary... as well as being the best food reviewer on TH-cam, you're super entering and could make anything interesting.
Those dishes look absolutely delicious, too. Another fantastic video, Sir.
That is a wonderful comment, thank you, Paul
Are you in 'Tooting' Broadway today Gary? 😉
I was in Tottenham Court Road Rosie
@@GaryEats It was a lame joke about the car horns ☺️ apologies
LOL I'm so sorry I think I'm tired from a days filming
@@GaryEats I'm not surprised Gary, what a trooper you are
Greeno lost the plot earlier 🙄
care to elaborate
What did he do Philip?
You should do the Bombay Brasserie, why do fringe Indian food when one of the most famous is ignored by you?
Look up who owns this restaurant
@@GaryEats I don't understand, who owns the Bombay Brasserie? I don't really care who owns it, I just know it's really good. I stayed at the 5 star hotel above and my I've been there even not staying at that hotel. Directors of Bombay Brasserie Private Limited are Varun Sunil Kapur and Karan Kapur. And?
That reply was meant for somebody else, I will do the Bombay Brasserie, I am not ignoring it. Also Gymkhana is coming soon
This channel is so good I am watching two of his videos at the same time keep going from one to the other. That's like if Gary ordered from two different restaurants at the same time. I'll give his videos a 10 out of 10. 👍
@@EvaDraconis I do the same thing!!
Wow Eva that is so brilliant, which ones have you double stacked? Surely one of myself is enough!
@@GaryEats This one and the one at Bill's at Victoria Station where you had the cauliflower starter and the dry hamburger.
The butter chicken looked great, and you were happy with it. An Indian shepherds pie is a no-no for me. I agree that a simple naan would have been the better choice. The sweet looked delicious. Thank you very much for taking us along. It is much appreciated.
I totally agree! Well said Sylvia
The dishes all look microwaved…. 😮
You can see that on the edges of the meals in the bowls.
I hate microwaved heated dishes!
I’m a home care nurse and I see meals that need to be heated up in the microwave that look better. And they cost less than 5 euros…
I have to say, it may have hurt the taste of the food too
First ❤
Thank you very much
Great video as always!
That is absolutely fantastic well done, Ben
You're never hesitant about trying something completely different, Gary. Kudos to you and here's to car horns and Blockbusters!
Thank you Nathan, you always have to mix it up!

Well done as always Gary & the most famous Cameraman in the world!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you very much, my friend, I’m on the comments so I didn’t even notice, you’re always so kind to both me and my son Tel 👍👍
@@GaryEats
I hardly read the comments myself..... 😉😂
Speak soon my friend
Take care.
An amazing achievement Tel. Hope you are well.

So amazing Sharon.
Definitely 200k before Christmas.
Thanks as always for getting in touch, have a lovely weekend and we'll catch up again soon..! 😊
Another brilliant honest review again, Garry. I cant get to most locations of your reviews, but it gives me a good idea of the standards resurants that i can visit should be achieving. Keep safe you & cameraman. 😊
That’s very kind to say thank you, John and you have a wonderful weekend
What an interesting and varied menu my friend. Such a change from the usual meat gravy and rice. Good and fair score as always ! I think you should have "Rice is Rice" on your new perch range!!
Thank you very much Paul, yes wanted the change up rather than the usual dishes
I can honestly say this man is by far the best food bloke on TH-cam, his unassuming demeanor and manners without frills is a breath of fresh air! Superman! 😊
That is a really lovely comment to make thank you very much
Brilliant review once again Gary thanks for the great entertainment well done lads and may the best team win on Sunday come on you gunners
That’s very kind to say thank you very much as always
I lovr your approach to the videos. No nonsense straight to thr point and love it!!
Thank you very much that’s really appreciate
I love your passion, Gary. When you find a great dish, I want to be there with you and enjoy the meal too! Your facial expressions and descriptions are so funny. I live in the Midlands and it's a shame I can't regularly visit the London places you rate so highly. However, when I get the chance to go - I'll be taking your high-recommendation list with me. Thanks for your time and passion. Keep it up mate! All the dishes looked amazing so it was interesting when you actually tasted them and found the highs and lows. 👍
That is a really kind comment to make thank you, Dave
Quirky is what it is. That you found something to rave about was really entertaining.
Had you thought about ordering chapati/Rotis rather than Naan. Greta for mopping up the juices and is pound for pound a darn sight cheaper.
Still amazed you can get through so much food and then have a dessert. When are you going to review Burfi or Ludoees. These are my go to Indian sweets.
I will have to try a different bread other than Naan, he didn’t work and that was completely my fault Conor
Great review as always!
Thank you very much, Steve
Great review as always, Gary!
Thank you very much
Fab review as always Gary .It did look a bit of a mixed bag .I think some of the drivers were showing off early christmas presents !!! Both keep well.
Thank you very much. It was a very mixed bag
