You know I'm into saving money but there's one place where I say that you should always go with the best and that's with fish food. Don't cut corners with nutrition. It impacts growth, breeding, color, activity, resistance to illness and a variety of other factors.
Many foods make tremendous claims but when you look deeper into the ingredients you discover additives that have zero nutritional value. They can also, in particular with African Cichlids, help to bring about bloat, a deadly condition.
So you can imagine my excitement in being offered an opportunity to use and review a clean and nutritious food free of any additives, colors, fillers and loaded with good ingredients. Let's take an honest look at two foods from Ultra Fresh.
    See them on-line here: ultra-fresh.tw...

been using these for a while now, seems they just got released in the USA but I've had them over here in Mexico for a while. I got Royal Cichlid which is 4mm pellets for my central americans, the guppy formula, the sinking carnivore shrimp pie for my bottom feeders, and the .4 and 1.6mm tropical bits for the community, they all love them

Was thinking about buying it, now I don't think I will. I use Omega One, and they do not use fish meal. They fancy label I ignore, I have to read ingredients in the back along with the values of protein, fat, and even nasty ash. The first 2 ingredients is the most important to me as they will be the main ingredient's. Nice video, love watching you, it's always best to get multiple opinions and thoughts.

So if you look up Sword Prawns they do not exist. There are Sword Shrimp but very little on harvesting from the wild. I have a friend who comes from a family that owns a Wild Shrimp processing plant, I'm going to ask about this. The thing about pet food is there is very little regulation on what you put into pet food and what you call it.
Sword Shrimp come from Thailand. I do not doubt your opinion, I just like to look at the sustainability of the ingredients. I make my own fish food as a rule, I sometimes subsidize with a good quality sustainable protein. Thanks Ben, I renewed my support for your channel, been absent for awhile.

I like that it slowly falls to the bottom. Cichlids are cool fish. Right now I have a community 55 gallon tank with mostly tetras but soon in the future I want to buy a 100 gallon+ tank for some fish like blood parrots and African cichlids. Would be awesome if I can find a 300 gallon tank.

Politics on a fishkeeping video, now that's just ain't right.
I politely ask you to [[FLIP!]] off, let me rmind you that we are here to care for fish, and they don't care where their food comes from, so we as fishkeepers will give them the best food that we can get our hands on, even if it comes from outside of our countries and nations, all we want is for our fish to be healthy and have them thrive in our care.
